Bombshell Intense

Earlier this year, I bought a decant of this from an online seller in my hometown. I was curious to know how it smell like and how long lasting it would be. Luckily, I wasn’t disappointed. I was determined to buy an EDT this month during a vacation to Sabah since they had a VS outlet there. It was an amazing deal for me as they had offered a set combo of EDT & lotion inclusive with a sling bag. How do I describe this perfume? At an initial spray, you get fresh cherry and peony. This combination is a harmonious spectacle in fragrance, in my humble opinion. Afterwards, it dries down to a smooth peony with a new lead, vanilla. The cherry takes a respite and lets peony and vanilla steal the show. But you still smell a little bit of cherry wafting as encore (every now and then). I absolutely adore this fragrance. It is the most long lasting Victoria’s secret perfume I ever had. It becomes my top favourite cherry perfume, with Nina Ricci’s Les Belles de Ricci Cherry Fantasy as the second favourite and Hello Kitty Sephora for women comes as the last favourite (even though cherry wasn’t listed in the notes but I detected a little cherry in Hello Kitty). Note: Perhaps these cherry perfumes perform well in hot weather as I live in tropical country.

I’m so happy I got Bombshell Intense on sale in-store; seriously, it is stunning. I’ve been on the hunt for a cherry/vanilla perfume that primarily smells of cherry/vanilla and not a bunch of other notes, and Bombshell Intense is everything I’d hoped for. It’s just so warm, fizzy, and the perfect amount of sweet! I definitely agree with the cherry vanilla soda comparison some reviewers have made here, but it’s even more delicious than that in my opinion. It lasts longer on me than other VS perfumes do, and I think it’s perfect for mild fall and winter, day or night. As far as where to wear it, I’d say it’s especially ideal for parties or a cozy date! I can’t wait to spritz this on when it starts to get chilly. I don’t think it surpasses Very Sexy Sea as my favorite VS fragrance, but it’s definitely a close second. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a cherry/vanilla and you find it on sale!

This is a very feminine, bold, seductive scent. Smells like what a "girl boss" or a pin-up model would wear. Cherry is absolutely what you'll be met with right out of the gate, but it's not a cough syrup cherry it's more like a crystallized ruby cherry. The cherry scent is strong but it's softened by the floral, and made sweet with the vanilla. To me, it has that perfect balance of tart, musk, and sweet without being cloyingly so. It's not like a cherry pie kind of thing, as the musky florals prevent that from being the case. Some may find it too seductive to wear it everyday, but I find it very pretty and versatile for day and night personally. My last but honest thought, if the color red had a smell, it would be this.

Say what you will about VS fragrances, whether or not they’re “cheap” smelling or too floral, etc. In my experience there is no denying that whatever is in the VS DNA (and in the Bombshell line in particular) is a practical man-magnet. It’s like their catnip. Maybe it has pheromones, who knows! I wore Bombshell Intense today layered with Egyptian Musk oil and it was an absolute winner, lots of compliments. The added oil just gave an additional surge of depth, sillage and longevity. Despite being pretty sexy, this is a good daytime cherry, and won’t choke you out in hot weather. For evening I would consider layering on an additional cherry (maybe Ducchesa?). Or even a vanilla like Fire At Will. Highly recommend.

When I first sprayed this, I didn't detect the cherry and all I could smell was this delicious creamy vanilla or white chocolate. Then on subsequent sprays I could get that juicy cherry opening note followed by the aforementioned vanilla/white chocolate. On me, the cherry is juicy and sweet and a hint tart. I do still get small whiffs of the cherry throughout the wear time. The floral note is in the background and is subtle. It doesn't last long and is very soft/doesn't project far but it could be an everyday scent for me as i can be sensitive to smells at times. It makes me think of valentines day. edit: I now hate this...that cherry note just grinds down my nosebuds, its unrelenting

Boozy, sweet, syrupy cherries on a cozy bed of fluffy vanilla. This is much more beautiful than I was expecting! I’m not a VS hater by any means, but some of their fragrances can be very “one note”, repetitive or generic. BUT, this is absolutely divine. The opening is a bit harsh, imo. It’s a strong fruity blast but once it starts to settle in to the skin, the sweet creamy vanilla starts to come through and it’s just divine! Lasting power isn’t great, but certainly not the worst of all the VS fragrances I’ve tried.

A lovely blend of cherry, peony and vanilla throughout the weartime, which does make this fragrance rather linear. There's a squeeze of sweet citrus in the top for some freshness and jasmine & Ylang-Ylang in the heart, to boost the cherry and peony. The base adds sandalwood to add creaminess to the vanilla, as well as including patchouli to heat up the fragrance. The longevity and aura are both moderate on me; not great, but not bad either.

I wore this a lot from 2021 to 2023. Still one of my absolute favourites. I wear this when going out at night, makes me feel sexy and confident. Its always lasted on my clothes super long. The cherry is subtle but still there, I love how strong the peony and vanilla are as I enjoy floral scents. I sometimes layer it with less strong floral perfume and it makes it last longer on the skin.

i disagree with all the "dark scent" comments towards bombshell intense. despite the way its marketed, bombshell intense is actually a pleasantly sweet scent. with just 3 notes, it creates a simple yet enticing fragrance. think maraschino cherries mixed with vanilla. truly a pretty girl scent <3 on top of my wishlist now

in lovveeee with how this smells.. bold, sexy cherries followed by a warm vanilla and soft, enchanting florals. its too bad that it doesnt last or project at all even while wearing the matching lotion 💔 wouldn't suggest a blind buy, rollerballs for many vs scents including this one tend to go for cheap during their sales

Lovely spicy cherry-vanilla scent! I knew when I first smelled it, it would be a great cold-weather perfume. Mostly at night but I think ok during the day too. It's warm and delicious. Yes, it's simple but that's ok! not everything has to have 100 notes in it (no shade to original bombshell which I also love lol).

Out of all of my fragrances expensive or inexpensive, this is my husbands favorite. He goes nuts for it. To me it's flirty, seductive, sweet and simple. Nothing necessarily unique but definitely a crowd pleaser. It's a shame it doesn't last long on the skin.

Super linear cherry scent that you really cannot fault. At first it kind of smelled like cologne but it really is dark cherry with the slightest bit of vanilla. Love layering this with Bare Vanilla body spray from VS as well! Delicious combo ;)

This is a beautiful cherry fragrance with a little floral and vanilla mixed in, more feminine than TF Lost Cherry, but in the same vein. It lasts 6-7 hours on my skin where layered with the matching lotion or a body oil, and longer on clothes.

Another non offensive perfume from Victorias Secret. I like all of the VS line to be honest. This ones a mix of vanilla and cherry in a lovely bottle. Definitely wouldn't describe this as intense, but it does last on the skin quite well.

Its a more sweet and seductive version of the original Bombshell❤️But it's still fresh and youthful! Smells like red wet peonies, with a hint of vanilla and cherry🌸🍒🍨 Really feminine, sexy and playful perfume

This reminds me of one of my all time FAVORITE perfumes, Victoria by Victoria’s Secret! I’m so excited as Victoria has never been launched again after they stopped selling it. I’m so happy!

like cherry coke without the cola. not medicinal, layers beautifully. a wonderful wear to bed frag. nice to get right up on. gives me the feeling of having a crush on a movie star.

Truly enjoyable! An optimistic scent with a cherry vanilla twist. My daughter and I fight for it. It’s a great cold weather fragrance that’s perfect for work and play!

I don't get much cherry from this, it's more floral and a bit of vanilla. But i do love it! Still a sweet and pretty scent.

Bought this for my girlfriend and I can safely say that it's a crowd-pleaser that I enjoy very much.

Beautiful date night fragrance.

I was disappointed by Bombshell Intense. The vivid cherry red and black bottle design was incredibly alluring and evoked images of maraschino cherries, or at least vivid red fresh cherries. It's a mild like. It seems almost indistinguishable from the original Bombshell without the passionfruit. I do like the original Bombshell, but it is not my favorite due to its lack of sweetness. As a personal bias, I must have a fresh, non-indolic "sweetness" in my fragrances. As a cherry-vanilla fan, I can say the cherry and vanilla are super faint, and the floral aspect is overwhelming to the point of soapiness. I could maybe wear this if I wanted to smell fresh, but the soapy florals annoyed me after a while. Experiment idea: Maybe I can layer Demeter Cherry Cream with original Bombshell and see if that produces the desired results. Also, I found the new Cherry Pop fragrance mist at VS smells like a cheap Eau So Sexy. Odd how scent palates read. Some of the mists (not based on the perfumes) can legit smell like nail polish remover, so I stick to the Eau de Parfums... Update March 2023: Upon trying this again and comparing it to original Bombshell, I chose the original. Something about this smelled familiar, maybe like Mon Paris? I remember having a similar weord association like that from Dylan Turquoise. While Bombshell Intense is not bad, it is more sweet whereas Bombshell original is more fresh and not so sweet. Intense does quiet down and turn more pleasant over time. I am not opposed to adding this to my collection simply for the bottle, but I would want it at a deep discount.

Scent: This is a very rich scent in the sense that it is very heavy/decadent. It has a deep, creamy, gourmand, non-synthetic vanilla base. The cherry is like a natural (i.e. not synthetic smelling) fresh cherry - to me it smells like a sour, semi-screechy cherry. I don't pick up on the peony too much, but I can detect some flower to balance things out a little. To me it smells like when something is so good that it is bad - this smells like being tempted into doing something that you don't want to do. It is enticing but almost too enticing. I wish there were some more flowers or a different fruit to just settle the richness of it down and make it more well-rounded. Personal opinion: Not a safe blind buy. I think this is very different to usual VS scents. It is not light-hearted. For me it is just too rich and decadent. I'm trying to layer it with different scents but struggling to find something that will work with it. Rating: 7/10 if you like very gourmand fragrances. Just not for me.

What I own: Eau de Parfum (Sample Set - 2.66 ml) (7/10) This scent was not what I expected it to be from the marketing (the deep red bottle, the name "intense"). I thought this scent would be deeper, like a cherry syrup for drinks or a cherry pie. But this scent isn't intense at all, and is almost airy. This reminds me of eating dark red cherries outside on a nice picnic day. I get the vanilla but it is quite soft and not really gourmand. Everything about this fragrance wasn't what I expected it to be, but I don't hate it at all. It felt like false advertising but it still works, so I can't be too mad. I compared this to Cherry in the Air and Cherry in Japan and it's definitely in the same family to my nose. CIA is a first cousin and CIJ is a second cousin. Bombshell Ranking: 1. Passion (9/10) 2. I can only agree with the below review. This is a very light fruity floral with no clear leaning towards cherry and IF there is any vanilla here it`s too soft and lowkey for me to perceive. Funny enough, I own the OG Bombshell and it strikes me as a lot more intense than this "intense" version. Not saying it`s bad. It`s definitely pretty, but it has nothing that sets it apart from any seasonal fruity floral drugstore cheapie I ever owned. I`ve had very similar smelling (and performing!) fragrances like this from brands like Essence for barely more than 8 euros. It does get a like rating from me for the scent because, again, it IS pretty. But man, if you paid for a full bottle of this at normal price, you`ve been fleeced. Edit: I`m testing this the entire day and I have to add, longevity is basically non-existant. I have a 7.5ml mini. To smell it at all I have to keep reapplying every 2hrs. Boo! At least at that rate the mini will be gone by day after tomorrow.

I got this recently based off of a review I saw on YT, I'm a sucker for anything cherry scented so I picked this up as well as the body spray as I had an inkling that this wouldn't have much longevity. And I was right! A nice sweet fruity fragrance that settles into a kind of generic red berry smell, Im not entirely sure I smell cherries exactly, but I'm sure they're in there somewhere! Doesnt last long so I do the usual regime: moisturise - Body spray- then perfume. Lasts a few hours then a top up is needed. A nice scent overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to re-purchase and I think its inoffensive enough to have as an everyday fragrance. Edit: its been a few more months and I've come to realise that I prefer the body spray version of this, I have no clue why but this turns into something a bit... off... after a few hours, whereas the body spray just fades away nicely. removing this from my collection unfortunately!

In my opinion, Victoria's Secret perfumes are equivalent to celebrity perfumes in terms of longevity and uniqueness. They're not that great but the expensive price point gives it the facade that its a little more fancy than it is. With that being said the Bombshell line does last a little longer on the clothes than other VS fragrances, but this one specifically does not last at all, especially on the skin. It is though one of the most unique scents I've smelled, it is definitely a dupe for Tom Ford and nothing else. I have found it works best when layering with the lotion a d body mist. Overall if you're debating on purchasing this, do so only during the sale when it's like twenty dollars. Other than that it's not worth it.

This smells like a cherry and vanilla scent as described. The cherries in here aren't sugared, tart, or juicy like in some cherry scents but they are fruity, creamy, and sweet. The vanilla in this scent smells like sweet white chocolate. I love it. It does not smell anything like the original Bombshell, if that's what you are looking for. This is its own scent, and it smells even better to me. A sophisticated sugary sweet scent. Yum! Think cherries and cream with white chocolate. Great for fall, winter, and date nights. This smells very similar to Britney Spears Fantasy. If you like that, you will like this. This could be Fantasy's sister. I own this in the fine fragrance mist and I often layer it with the Fantasy Perfume.

I like this. It's not as strong as I thought it would be and I barely get any cherry. To me it smells exactly like the loreal color protect shampoo which I like but it's not necessarily the vibe that I'm going for. It doesn't last very long on me. I think I'd get a small bottle of this just to try it out. I mostly get peony with a slight hint of vanilla from this. edit: the edp, rollerball and body mist all smell different! The body mist barely has any cherry and is shampoo-like whereas the rollerball is very heavy on the cherry, which I love. Waiting for the edp to arrive and I really hope it has a lot of cherry and vanilla.

Lately, Victoria's Secret has been disappointing me. They got rid of their secret garden series body wash, body butter, eau de toilette and body scrubs. I also feel that they watered down the formulas as well. However, I really like this scent and they carry more body care products in this line. The body spray doesn't last as long as I'd want it to but I find it to be really nice. I feel it does smell similar to the original Bombshell but it is not identical. To me, it smells woody and fruity and a bit of a vanilla base. It is not my absolute favorite but it's great for putting on whenever you don't know what to wear.

Besides the fact that there's no darkness to this scent as it's very young and pretty to me, I don't smell peonies at all. Only vanilla mixed with cherry which gives off cherry ice cream vibes. At first I thought the cherry is gonna be syrupy and chemical like in Tom Ford's lost cherry. But it's NOTHING like that. Totally different type of cherry. At first I thought I've blind bought Bombshell OG 2.0 which disappointed me cause it started with the exact same passion fruit shampoo-y type of scent. But that goes away after only a few minutes and leaves u with cherry vanilla ice cream. Love it

Smells like Cherry Vanilla Coke. My husband purchased a little gift set for Christmas one year as a stocking stuffer. I never really reached for it until I became pregnant, my fragrance preferences change due to hormones and I started to love this! I layer the lotion and spray to help with longevity, obviously I don’t have the greatest expectations for longevity but i still love it and don’t mind reapplying. Sweet, sexy, fruity, and I think good for someone who wants to start wearing gourmand scents. I usually prefer fresh/fruity white florals so this for me is a little out of the norm.

Sweet, medium sillage, lasting power could have been better. Reminiscent of Perfum De La Cours Vampire (Walmart discontinued). This might be of any help for those that have smelled Vampire. The cherry note and that woodsiness of the fragrance remind me of Lolita Lempicka (the Original). Blind buy. I watched a review and was sold. I knew I would love it. I don't find it candy sweet, a little bit more like Decadence. You know, ambery (not powdery), sweet, fruity, woody. I find this oriental vanilla and fruity but you can confuse it for a gourmand.

I feel like musk and some woody notes need to be listed as well as I can clearly smell those. Unfortunately this is not straight forward cherry perfume as some of you may expect. It’s a nice peony vanilla musky scent everyone can wear and enjoy during day and nighttime, but probably not when it’s extremely cold outside as the longevity is not that impressive. I’ve got 50ml, 5ml, body mist and a lotion, and probably I’ll not repurchase, but not because that’s a bad scent, there are so many other perfumes I’d like to try.

To me this smells like if you took the original Bombshell, and toned it down some by adding a dash of berry (like from Very Sexy For Her), to make it a little deeper and not quite so “bright”. It still has the original Bombshell in there, though. I don’t think it smells like cherry or vanilla. I actually bought a little one without knowing what the notes were, and I’m surprised cherry is even listed in the notes. I’m curious to know if the mist smells like the perfume, and need to go back and test it.

Got the old packaging of Bombshell Intense during SAS. I can definitely see why some reviewers recommend this for winter and fall. It is a sweet, decadent, strong fruity fragrance. It opens with fruits of the forest (I actually don't detect cherry alone, but I could be wrong). The vanilla base is strong and most long lasting of the three notes, and is a creamy, rich vanilla. I can see wearing this around the holidays... it's a lot for summer. I am excited to wear this as it gets chilly out!

Blind buy from a year ago or so. Really let me down back then as I was hoping it’d be way more cherry-heavy, but I’ve since come around to it. Pitifully bad longevity (3 hours tops) but maybe overspraying will fix? The weather’s finally getting cooler where I am, so I’ll have plenty of time to figure it out. A nice floral for that sort of weather, which is good because this morning I was looking at my samples and thinking I wouldn’t be using half of them in the colder seasons LOL

Bombshell Intense is my first and only Victoria Secret perfume. It is neither interesting nor complex. I might have even smelled this before in a generic store-brand fragrance. But, sometimes this is all I want. Simply a dumb reach sexy, cherry perfume. Perfect for occasions when you just want to throw on something sexy and mass appealing. Easy grab. Lasts a few hours. Sweet, red, deep, sensual (chocolate?) and inviting. There is a place for this in my collection.

Simple, shampooey cherry vanilla perfume that’s an easy reach for casual occasions/housework. Like most VS scents, it’s not a beast mode fragrance, nor does it last particularly long, but it’s affordable enough when on sale that it’s worth it, if you’re into it. The body mist pulls a bit masculine and almost medicinal on me if I overspray, but the rollerball wears prettier imo. I recommend testing this one rather than blind buying.

This is nice cherry vanilla scent. I dont think anyone buying VS thinks they are getting groundbreaking or complex scents so I think you get exactly what you should expect. I think it is an enjoyable crowd pleasing scent. I have had a hard time finding a cherry scent where the cherry lasts on my skin. I recently found Scandal by night was the first to have the cherry last & now this. So I am pleased with it.

Not norm a big fan of Victoria's Secret perfumes, most of them give me a headache because they're so strong and chemically but this one's actually pretty good :p The only big issue for me is the longevity, within an hour it's barely noticeable. It's the right balance of dark and sweet, mysterious but also bubbly? I guess xD Smells really nice though, reminds me of like a night out & a jazz club lol!

More of a darker/sexy scent. On spraying, the cherry and peony is only noticeable for me. I was not expecting this, as vanilla is usually shows through on most fragrances I own. It takes ~30 minutes to smell the vanilla on my skin and it is very smooth. I have a strong dislike for any perfume that has the rose note in it (I had bought this years prior), it is very faint.

This was my favorite scent for a while (middle school) as I had gotten it as a Christmas present. Whenever I smell it now it brings me back. However it now just smells very cheap to me, upon first application it is very plastic-y and has the very strong alcohol smell. But it still is a very floral and fresh scent to me, and is perfect for younger women.

Scentmojis: 🍒 🧁🧣 This is a truly lovely scent, soft and sweet, and exactly what you’d expect from the notes. While I think it’s more of a cold-weather scent, it smells ageless to me—this would work equally well for a teenager or someone more mature. It’s too bad it’s so weak; you have to have your nose right against your skin before you can smell it.

Sweet and fruity while being a tad bit on the warm side. A nice cherry and floral blend. It seems to be a nice even blend of all three notes. I do really like this scent, and it's one of my favorites out of victoria's secret fragrances. However, longevity is not very good. I would be wearing this more often if it lasted longer.
