Bombshell Magic

Just like an earlier review, this truly was love at first sniff for me - I can't believe I haven't heard more about it! I know that juniper berry isn't listed, and neither is pine - but to me this almost smells like a chilled juniper berry wreath in the winter. The blackberry (again to me, it smells like juniper berry with my skin chemistry!) feels cool/chilled but also sweet, dark, and delicious at the same time. The patchouli is mild, but still musky and earthy enough to ground the fragrance (and add a bit of sexy magic). This wears beautifully in cold weather - would be the perfect addition to a thick coat, and the start of snowfall on a cool winter evening. It also has amazing projection, sillage, and longevity - lasts through the day/overnight on my skin! I Iove it so much that it's in my top 20 fragrances, and I bought 3 bottles - it will be my staple for the holidays in years to come!

Love at first sniff. I blind bought this in a rollerball and EDP spray and I am 100% glad that I did. This is such a beautiful perfume. I love all of the notes in this and I knew I’d like it, but seriously, it’s still blowing me away. I am being wrapped in a comforting hug of juicy sweet blackberry, warm vanilla, and a touch of earthy patchouli, and it’s just so divine. I wore this today and it made me so happy every time I caught little whiffs of it, I had to reapply when I got home like an addict. Great for day, night, and hopefully all seasons! I like the OG Bombshell and many of the flankers, but I LOVE this one. It’s now in my top 3 VS scents, alongside Noir Tease and Very Sexy Orchid. Signature scent worthy. Editing to add: for a fun layering experiment, I used this rollerball with my Bombshell Intense rollerball, and they play together beautifully.

How come bombshell magic, which has just been released, is still available at an affordable price -- but Tease sugar fleur was just released, was a limited edition but you can't find it anywhere for a decent price? And they stopped selling almost immediately after it came out. AND why do they make their best creations to be limited editions? Who is responsible for these decisions? Because they are ass backwards with their ideas and missing out on lots of money cuz now the oil sellers will be where we go to get our limited edition fragrance that is no longer available at reasonable prices anywhere else. Wake up! Fire the team that's making these calls !

Bombshell Magic has been one of my favorite scents all year. I purchased everything from the collection, including the scented powder with the puff. This fragrance is blended very well and it’s so yummy!! There is definitely a bubblegum note that I pick up, and sometimes I like to wear BBW’s Bubble Gum Pop fine fragrance mist with it to make it even sweeter. I love it!

This one is so well done. Blackberry galore. With so much sweetness. A bit like Mon Paris yea. However the patchouli is very very tame. Much more sweet vanilla and berries. Awesome longevity and a lot more wearability to this than Celebration last year. While I liked that. It was a bit too woody and stuffy. This is sexy for year round. A great flanker!

I changed my opinion . This starts off harsh, sharp, abrasive but once it mixes with my chemistry it's aromatic and semi sweet in wafts. Not up close though, up close it's astringent still. I will layer this with tease candy noir to make that last longer.

I absolutely love this. It smells sweet and gorgeous. It lasts around 5 hours on skin and a day or two on clothes. It was a blind buy and I don't regret buying it!!! 10/10

I’m glad I added this to my collection I picture wearing this at night under a sky full of stars having a girls night with my friends.

This is a compliment getter - this is a bit like Mon Paris - but wearable. That is SO strong. This is much more manageable.

Try this layered with FCUK Connect- the red juice. Magic and Connect go very well together. Delicious 😋

I received this perfume as a gift and was delighted, it also has one of the most beautiful packaging.

Agree with some comments here that this has the Tease DNA but this one lasts longer.

Another nice release from VS. I received a sample of this scent with my recent order. To me this scent is an epitome of celebratory mood during winter holiday period: think holiday events, New Year's Eve, carnival parties. Festive mood, sparkling holiday lights, glam outfits, glitter, shimmer. I would wear it to evening events during fall/winter holiday period. It's also wearable during the daytime if you want to feel extra. How does it smell? It's smells refined, yet light (blackberry, peony and rose(?)) and opulent (patchouli). You don't need to be scared of patchouli and rose. Vanilla softens the entire composition. It reminds of a scent I've smelled before. It could be a distant cousin of Viktor and Rolf Midnight or YSL Parisienne EDP or Bombshell Passion, just softer and smoother. If you know VR Midnight, replace musk with patchouli to add deeper, refined, opulent vibe, minus pomegranate. I prefer this scent over Bombshell Passion. Initially, when I smelled this scent I was not fully convinced that I liked it, but it grew on me. I wish it came in a travel spray instead of a rollerball. One VS rollerball that I've purchased in the past completely evaporated within 2 years.

I blind bought Bombshell Magic thinking it would be as minimalistic as the notes indicated, but it definitely has more notes than listed. The blackberry only lasts for an instant upon initial spray. Once on the skin, a tropical fruit note appears, possibly pineapple. Then the heart of the perfume is a huge surprise for me: it’s mostly black currant or cassis. If I knew it i would not have bought it because i don’t like cassis or black currant notes in perfumes. I don’t really pick up much peony. I was kinda expecting the peony note in peony and blush suede or burberry london, but no. In the dry down stage, there’s a hint of patchouli peeking through the black currant, and i get no vanilla either. Overall the vibe is modern, sensual, and casual. The sillage is moderate at first and fades to a skin scent after a couple hours. The longevity is shorter than average, less than half a day. I love the packaging. The box looks like a wrapped gift, and the bottle looks and feels luxurious. Currently I’m not loving the scent but i think I’ll keep wearing it and see what I think in a few months

Definitely pick up the similarities to Mon Paris with this one. Though Bombshell Magic to my nose has a bubblegum accord that I can't quite explain. I also don't find the patchouli to be as strong in Bombshell magic, as opposed to Mon Paris. Overall, I really enjoy this and have since purchased back ups as it is was a holiday release. While I find that it lasts on my skin and clothing for at least six hours (layered with the lotion and body mist), I do find the sillage to be a bit complicated. I feel it lasts quite well in the air sometimes, but It's a fragrance that sits rather closely to the skin. In conclusion, this is a really wonderful scent and I feel like it can be worn any time of year. Definitely one I can see myself wearing to work a lot. If you are able to shop the Semi Annual Sale and come across this, I recommend testing it out to see if you like it!

I finally got a bottle of this, and it's amazing. I think this is my favorite Bombshell of them all. Granted, I wasn't a huge fan of the original bombshell, even though I own it and most of the flankers. I'm going to do a ruthless declutter soon, and I double I'll keep most of the bombshell line, but this one will stay. It's that good. I hate patchouli, it has ruined many a fragrance for me. Patchouli is listed in this, and I can smell it, but it's so well blended. Maybe it's because it's a less earthy patchouli? Of all the fruitchouli fragrances out there (most of which I don't like) this is my favorite. It's juicy, fun and feminine. I dare say men might find this sexy too. I'm going to try to go from about 200 bottles down to around 40, and this stay, that says a lot.

Officially one of my favorite Bombshell flankers. This is so beautiful. Very similar to Mugler’s Angel & YSL Mon Paris. It’s sweet, fruity, and earthy. And the bottle is so gorgeous. I’m just so happy I successfully blind bought this. I feel like this could be a great signature scent. It smells like berries and it’s very fitting for the holiday season. Great for year round. Surprisingly it sits very close to the skin so this can be worn in casual settings too. edit: I still like it but I don’t reach for it that much. I’ve had the bottle for two months and there’s barely a dent in my 50ml bottle. I ended up giving it away.

Not a bad addition to the bombshell lineup. Very sweet and and a little tropical with clear notes of super juicy blackberry in the opening that disappears very quickly, giving way to the peony. The bombshell dna is present but it’s improved very much by whatever additional notes are added here and is well blended. A little synthetic as they all are. I like using bombshell bodysprays and lotions in the summer as a base and as mosquito control (it works but only with some variations it’s hit or miss). I think I will pick up the EDP as well this time, I really like this one.

At first I get tart berries, sour blackberries with a subtle herbal edge. The berries feel juicy and realistic, but they're resting on a soft bed of vanilla cake, that keeps me from fully falling in love with it. Too sweet. It doesn't scream for attention, it sits comfortably in the background and simply smells pleasant. To me, it smells like blueberry caramels. Sweet, playful, with a tiny depth underneath. I wouldn't buy a full bottle myself but I could absolutely see myself wearing it to casual social events where I want to smell nice without making a statement.
