Bombshell Nights

Yet another example of a beautiful fragrance from VS that shouldn’t have just been limited edition! To me, Bombshell Nights is a cold, spicy scent that works great pretty much all year round. I can’t say I smell any particular note that’s been listed besides the woods—those I can definitely detect, but I also know that’s not all that’s there. There are woods, yes, but there’s also something juicy and sparkling (the fruit, perhaps?), and something else that feels fresh and a tad sharp (the floral note?). At any rate, despite this being appropriate (in my opinion) for year round wear, the image it brings to my mind are woods on a winter night—snowflakes cascading onto a frigid forest floor, stars twinkling in the dark sky above. Call that lame or whatever else you want, but that’s what this fragrance makes me think of! I also believe that’s why it works great all year round—refreshing enough for warmer days, but “festive” enough for colder days. Performance is moderate on me. I remember I was able to score this bottle for like $20 several years ago, so for that price, it was totally worth it. It’s just too bad VS constantly churns out SO MANY flankers, and then when they concoct something truly beautiful, it always seems to be limited edition or it’s discontinued quickly. When I’m finally out of this bottle, I’ll have to try some of the fragrances that have been voted as similar (or go on the hunt for something similar myself), because it doesn’t smell like anything else I own, it’s an easy reach, and everyone around me compliments me when I wear it.

This smells similar to the OG Bombshell but is stronger and longer lasting and a lot less juvenile. It's like OG Bombshell's big sister who is more sophisticated and very feminine. :-) The name is misleading to me, as this does not strike me as a nighttime fragrance at all, but more of a fresh daytime scent for the spring and summer. I don't picture myself going out on the town with this on, but to attend a daytime wedding or a posh brunch with some girlfriends. It's very Tiffany-esque to me which is a compliment because Tiffany & Co. makes beautiful fragrances. Maybe it's the black currant that's in the OG Tiffany and in the Rose Gold. When I think of Bombshell 'Nights', I think of a little bit darker, warmer, sultry scent which this is not. It's also not a casual fragrance, but you could get away with wearing this in professional settings everyday as long as you don't overspray. I'm still on the fence about whether I will keep this or return it because I'm not a big fan of the OG Bombshell, but this one has enough of a difference in the notes that I could justify keeping it, plus, I caught it on a good sale.

I picked this up a few nights ago and love it!!! This is a beautiful fruity floral perfume and IMO all the notes blend beautifully and this one is wearable year round. Longevity and silage are both moderate on me,I can easily get 6 hours out of this perfume without having to reapply wich honestly suprises me because this is a lighter scent. Another plus with this being a lighter scent is that all I need is two spritzes of this and I'm good to go and anything more then 2-3 spritzes of this on me would cause a headache and be too much. I usually gravitate towards gourmand scents so this is a nice change in my perfume line up and I loved this fruity floral more than I thought I would!

My favorite of the bombshell flankers...like the original with a little more fruitiness and woodiness. Despite the fact that it's been released in the past during the holidays, this is definitely a year-round scent, leaning more toward a late summer scent. I do like it a lot, and it's one I get a lot of compliments on.

My favorite of the Bombshells....for those that remember Estee Lauder Dazzling Gold, Bombshell Nights reminds of a squirt of Dazzling Gold added to a squirt of original Bombshell and Voila! This starts of really, really nice on my skin but becomes a bit bleh after an hour or so. I still really like it though.

Loving this one! It's my Night on the town scent and it's sultry/sexy and calming. I love the Bombshell DNA. And I could end up getting all the Flankers. I love to wearing it to sleep. It's such a pretty & pleasant scent! The 3 Notes of Black Currant, Dahlia & Woody work nicely together here!

It does smell a bit like OG Bombshell. This one is more juicy with a little bit of woody, OG is more floral and fresh. To me this one smells divine and I prefer it over OG Bombshell. It smells like summer night party to me.

One of my favorite of Bombshell's. Reminds me of Bombshell Paris. To me it's more unisex fragrance. Cold, fresh and some zesty. Long lasting, 10 h+. Already on my 2nd bottle.

I Think it is very sexy. The best perfume you should wear before having sex. Smell like original bombshell but last longer and more sexy.

I can’t smell the wood notes very well, I get sweet notes and fresh notes. Like fresh out of the shower. My coworker thought it smelled like a Chinese floral mosquito repellent oil, but in a good way? Apparently after the Chinese revolution, since perfume wasn’t available, men and women would wear that mosquito repellent oil to smell good when they went out on dates or to go dancing. I like it for the freshness.

Honestly it did disappoint me at first sniff but it got better after a few times. I'm just not a fan of black currant fragrance I found it sour and spicy! Not in a bad way. I'm just not a fan. Edit: I think i want it back. Edit: I actually want it back

Very fruity, I can smell citrus notes even if they are not listed. Nice, but it is a daytime scent and rather for warm season.

I got the 3.4 for 45bux from VS and I was expecting a lighter clone of Midnight Dahlia by Korres aka Armani Si- La Rive In Woman - due to the black currant leaf/cassis of In Woman and Armani Si and the dahlia note of Korres Midnight Dahlia which gives a deep sweetness to Midnight Dahlia. Well, this is not like these perfumes despite some common notes. It is also not a night-time vibe for me at all, so the new clear bottle matches it better. It is not spicy or grown-up imo, it's the typical basic fruity light and bright VS Bombshell scent with an added deep floral sweetness intensifying later at the drydown which becomes more woody and it smells like the Dahlia note in BBW Dahlia, even though it does not entirely smell like Dahlia or its similar ones CH Good Girl- Coach Dreams Sunset. At the drydown I do recognize this Coach Dreams Sunset/BBW Dahlia vanilla-like sweetness. The opening is sweet juicy and bright, I do not smell the black currant being a sour note right away, but I smell it right after the sweet deep dahlia and it's not the typical astringent sour and dry black currant smell which I don't like. It is a salty green slightly tart scent like the unripe pear in BBW Poppy and the scent at this point, at the later opening, does remind me of a sweeter, no rhubarb lighter Poppy for some time and then added to the sweeter less sour Poppy vibe is this slight Coach Dreams Sunset - BBW Dahlia impression, but much lighter and green-fresh instead. To me this is like a combo of BBW Poppy and Coach Dreams Sunset as that one has bergamot and it's fresher than BBW Dahlia. Its projection is very nice in the breeze, but similar to the Bombshell scent so quite boring and juvenile to me. It is also not long lasting. The reviews for this perfume are all over the place, I read them all when trying to decide if I want this, but that's cause it's a faint scent without bold personality, it's a little bit of everything in a mediocre way.

I took a trip to VS today, heading straight for a Bombshell Nights tester. The bottle is freaking gorgeous. I'm a sparkle-addict. However, Bombshell Nights just didn't blow me away. There's something about it that I just do not like. It's some kind of spicy note, or maybe cedarwood. An abrasive, heady note that probably would cause a throbbing head and nausea -- for me personally. That's something VS fragrances usually never, ever do. Happened a time or two, but it's rare, and it was never this intense. Besides that heady note, it's mostly floral. I wouldn't classify this as fruity. It's a woody/spicy floral. It really reminds me of Angel Gold (released a few years ago). Funny enough, they're both marketed as "golden" scents. I'm not wild about Angel Gold, but I definitely like it better than Bombshell Nights. Of all their current fragrances in the store, this one's at the bottom of the list for me, along with Noir Tease. Not terrible by a long shot, but rates between "meh" and "dislike". Ever since I became pregnant and had my son, my sense of smell went overboard. It's a curse and a blessing. I always loved perfume, but it turned into regular purchases after my son came along. A big reason why VS is my favorite: they are usually void of "headachy" notes. They have an airy, light, freshness that almost no other brands have. They also tend to last to whole day, opposite of what many people report. However, I get a feeling that this might just be Bombshell Nights that is strong, not necessarily my own nose. It looks like previous reviewers like Bombshell Nights. Try before you buy. Your experience will hopefully be better.

I have never cared for VS fragrances/scents. In my opinion it always smelled like a prepubescent girl who is trying to act more mature (prosti-tot?) However, I took a whiff and this is divine! Heaven in a bottle. I smelt combo of fruits - Pear, peaches and champagne (sweet) and little bit of fresh floral (not too much though) mixed with something like clean chypre. It's not too strong unless sprayed over and over in one spot. It's definitely something I would have pictured as a Christmas /New Years gift. I love it and got the lotion too, which helps the staying power!

I have not actually purchased this yet. I would have bought this in a NY minute if this was actually a stronger version of the Bombshell that I love and cherish. I read the great reviews that say that it is and then I read the negative review. This is why I cannot do a blind buy here. The main factor is that this perfume only has 3 notes in grand total. I went to the page for Bombshell and it has like 20 notes. That is a HUGE difference. This cannot possibly be similar with THAT many notes missing. Just my two cents.

This is fabulous~ Bought a bottle last weekend and have worn it every day since. I am one of those who needs to switch it up daily, but I'm loving this! The dry down is total awesomeness! I detected some EA Untold in the final phase which is fine by me but overall, it's a happy scent that lasts a pretty good amount of time - 4 -5 hours. The lotion keeps it going longer. Visit your VS store this weekend and try it out! Happy Thanksgiving fellow perfume lovers!

I was so excited to try this scent, but it did not work out for me. It’s very very strong with just one spray, and I know that wearing it would give me a headache. I did not like the woody note in this perfume and how it combined with the other notes. This is definitely a fragrance for those who like bold scents that can be detected across the room.

I have to say I am not impressed by this one. And I love most of VS perfumes. This one lasts no time on my skin and smells like "perfumey perfume" instead of something I'd want to smell. I got it on sale so I'll not worry about sending it back. I'll give it to a girlfriend if they like it.

Maybe its me but to my nose, most of the Bombshell flankers released smell almost identical. This is no different-same base as Bombshell with some fruit and woodsy musky finish line. Its nice enough but nothing special.
