Bombshell Paradise

I never had Bombshell Summer, but I smelled this in the store and had to have it. It was on sale for $17, not sure I would have paid full price for it because I feel that the scent doesn't last very long. Still love it though.

Awww!!! Sophia Grojsman made this one, no wonder I like it so much! My daughter and I went to Goodwill and found this there, she took an immediate liking to it. It's "not her usual style", but "It's really, really nice." And...well, absolutely. I immediately thought this smelled like watermelon though! She absolutely agrees, and said it reminds her of Watermelon Lemonade from B&BW. It does smells slightly similar, but this is actually less tart. I'm truly surprised grapefuit is listed as a leading note...because it isn't as if it isn't citrusy, but it's certainly not as astringent as grapefruit typically is. At any rate, this is a sweet scent, but it has body. There's light florals beneath it, but ultimately the feel of this fragrance is juiciness. It's extremely pretty! (Reviewing Bombshell Summer, but this is a re-release of the same perfume.)

Bombshell Paradise is such a refreshing scent to wear in the summer heat. The bright and juicy grapefruit is uplifting and makes me feel energetic, and the bottle adds gorgeous color to any perfume shelf. But like many other reviews on the VS website, I agree that the downfall is the lasting power. The scent will last for days on my clothes but barely 2 hours on my skin. Because of the poor longevity, I wouldn't purchase a bottle of this at full price again, but it smells so good I'd pick it up on sale or in a discounted bundle pack.

The name is confusing bc this smells like bombshell summer and not the bombshell paradise in the blue bottle

Paradise is office friendly, becoming more of a light skin scent fairly quickly. You can add to the longevity by layering moisturizer and applying to your clothing. I would pick Wild Flower and then Paradise, well before the original Bombshell. @lmwimsatt I bought the Bombshell Summer lotion and use it with Bombshell Paradise...you are so right they are exactly the same.

If you compare the notes, there is an extra scent added. It says that the radiant woods adds to the smell of the warmth of the sun or something like that. When I first smelled the Summer I was so obsessed with it. I wanted to drink it and I bought the oil, lotion, 3.4 oz bottle, the mist and duo rollerball. Just everything I could get my hands on. They do smell extremely similar, however, if they were to point out the woods smell in the old perfume, when they hadn't before then it'd come off as they didn't know their perfume as well as they thought they did and that would be a lot more worrisome. Im not saying that's even what they did but I don't think they're trying to fool us in a deceitful way.

This is the only Bombshell version that I can tolerate. I think it is because of the Lily of the Valley note. I do not think that Paradise and Summer smell the same. All Bombshell perfumes by VS have that Italian Pine note, so they have the same undertone. Wish they would remove that pine note. It is a pretty harsh note and usually blows it for the perfume.

This is the same exact scent as Bombshell Summer, but in a different bottle & with a brand new name. I contacted Victoria's Secret & the response I got was "We're happy to say it's the same fabulous scent, with just a new name!" So, yes unfortunately it's not a new scent.
