Bombshell Passion

What I own: Eau de Parfum (Sample Set - 2.66 ml & Rollerball) (9/10) This is the first rose dominated fragrance I fell in love with! I was hesitant to try it since my previous experience with rose scents weren't the best, but I'm glad I did. The black currant brings some sweetness to the florals, which helps balance it out and keep it from becoming too floral heavy. I find this scent quite sexy, but in a "delicate" way, like flowing negligees, soft pillows, and candlelight (as opposed to "fierce" sexy like fishnet, black pumps, and a bold lipstick, which I would describe the "Very Sexy" line of VS fragrances). I enjoy wearing this at night the most, but I find it versatile enough for day wear as well. Now I'm excited to take a dive into more rose fragrances in the near future. Bombshell Ranking: 1. This smells like juicy sweet roses. The listed accords are very accurate. For me it’s aromatic, floral, green, and fresh. I know this can be interpreted as a deeper scent but I wear this mostly going to campus because it isn’t strong at all. It lasts only a couple hours. Only the initial blast is strong with the syrupy black currant but once it settles you’re left with the scent of lingering pink flowers. People have to get really close to you in order to notice but I still love it though. It’s inoffensive and it makes me feel pretty. I don’t have to think with this one so I’ve already put quite a dent in my bottle. edit: this really is very similar to Angel Nova - my mom owns that one & I’m picking up a lotttt of similarities. This one is more of a fresh rose while Angel Nova is a tart fruitier fragrance.

So I got Passion because. Well. I’m obsessed with the bombshell line and love collecting them. Also because the bottle is simply GORGEOUS. The fragrance is so unique. It’s plum. Dark cherry. Almond and floral musk. I was worried it was almost too musky. I hate woody musky scents. But. It has enough “bombshell” florals to work. The rose florals are the base to Passion that work. This is a purely sexual fragrance. I could see this being a fragrance you spray on before a hot romantic date night or even before intimacy. Such a beautiful scent. I think will wear EXTREMELY well in cold temps and holds close to the body. Hence the wanting to be intimate. Such a stunner passion is. Very well thought out olfactory pyramid here.

For something that supposedly only has cassis, peony, and rose notes, this sure smells a lot like raspberry. (Might be from the cassis – a*k*a black currant – note.) Either way, it’s a nice evening fragrance. A deep fruity floral with decent sillage. Longevity could be better, but they do make a mist and a lotion to touch it up with. Not bad for a fragrance that’s less than $40. UPDATE: Now that I own Tresor Midnight Rose, I must agree with those who say they smell the same. Midnight Rose is more developed, but that’s to be expected comparing a Lancome fragrance to VS. Otherwise, one is definitely a dupe for the other.

This fragrance is one of my all time favorites in all of my collection. Usually VS scents are redundant for me but I love pure seduction and this one mostly. Three very simples notes in this fragrance yet it smells so unique!! I get very much a fruity punch rose smell with this with some soft musk elements. I can pick this out when I smell other people wearing it. Just simply a beautiful, feminine, long lasting fragrance! I would say any age can pull this off as well if sweet florals are your thing.

love this so much, I’m addicted to it! The rose is perfect. I had a roller ball a few years ago and forgot how much I loved it when I went into VS and also saw it was on sale, I bought a full bottle. It’s a beautiful syrupy and sexy scent but not too intense. Beautiful for day or night, I do wish it was a bit stronger so I do have to spray more but I don’t mind. I also have midnight rose by Lancôme, which they are similar but midnight is more intense. 💜❤️💜

Update: decluttered 8/2/23. I never reached for it; I prefer Mon Paris Intensement. This is like Mon Paris Intensement and Angel Nova’s baby. Cassis is basically blackcurrant which is very juicy and jammy. On its own, this smells a bit sharp and bracing (like Angel Nova does) but if I layer it with a vanilla it becomes a bit softer and more wearable, without fundamentally changing the pretty jammy rose vibe of this. Note: I own the fragrance mist version.

This was a random pick from the give away stash from my boss so price point was not considered in my rating. It really surprised me because I personally don't gravitate towards rose scents but I fell in love with this one. It doesn't smell "old" and cloyingly sweet. You can actually wear this on a hot and humid day, and not worry about the scent turning nasty. It would be even more lovely if it stays longer.

I am a huge bombshell fan. I have most of them and love them. This is a step up to the rest. It’s just very romantic. I agree with the jammy berry scent being prominent and the rose is very sugared and bright. I’m not usually a fan of rose in scents but it is blended so beautifully in this. The cassis adds a beautiful warmth and sweetness. This smells more expensive than it is. Really lovely.

Bombshell passion is the bomb! Seriously don’t let the notes deter you from buying this fragrance, especially when it is marked for $10 as a rollerball. This is sultry, fruity, musky and just the perfect sensual perfume that will elevate you into the fall season. I love the dark magenta juice and I swear it smells like pomegranate and Tonka beans together which is very sexy.

Bombshell Passion is soo freaking beautiful. It’s rose, but it’s sweet. It’s a delicious scent in a grown woman way. I think this scent is ohh soo sexy! It’s extremely flirty & I can already tell it’s one that men will love. There’s something fruity here too, but I don’t know what (it’s the cassis duh lol 🤦🏾♀️). I love this scent & I can’t wait to wear it out!

I’m not getting what everyone else is getting. I’m waiting for this sharp screechy woody overbearing smell to dissipate, but it’s not going anywhere and it’s reminding me of that scratchy sharp angel nova smell minus the vomit inducing part. The notes are all 3 love for me but I swear there’s that nasty fake woody patch in this that’s killing it in a bad way.

Ohhh my god my all time favorite scent everrr, it's sweet powdery and has juicy berries in it ❤️..i'm a fan of sweet floral scents..so this one is amazingg 😍 i love the fact that this perfume is a hidden gem 🥺❤️ But , i don't like the longvity🥹 And i don't like the hint of greens in it ,so i layer it with vanilla perfume to add more creaminess to it👑😍

i have this in the mist, and it's one of my new all time favourites. a sweet fruity floral. i saw a comment saying it has similarities to dior absolutely blooming, and as thats my absolute favourite fragrance it could explain why i love this one so much! i love anything peony, and this ones not to overly sweet. i feel happy when i put this on <3

i love gourmands and i usually dislike rose notes... i was surprised to see this only had 3 notes - all of them floral and green! to me, this smells like sweet and juicy berries. it's so sexy and flirty. this is what i imagine adriana lima smelled like in the 2000s. such an underrated bombshell flanker <3 definitely a new favourite!

A very sweet everyday perfume, has to be reapplied after about 6 hours depending on the season and where u are going/went. Not too mature but can be wore at night. I would recommend if you want to buy your first "big girl" perfume and do not want to break the bank.

This smells like if you sniffed an Ulta catalog magazine; perfume sample vibes. Very clean, light, rosy, and unoffensive. I can't believe it took me so long to try this Bombshell. I have the body mist and I wish it lasted longer; I will be getting the EDP next!

Such an underrated VS scent. I love using it for nights out, and I find even the body mist lasts quite a while. I have some trouble detecting the rose notes in this scent though, I find it's more of a fruity scent instead of floral. Super sexy and sweet!

This is criminally underrated. It's one of my favorite fragrances right now, it's so flirty and feminine yet really deep. It does smell like a VS perfume but in the best way possible. Definitely wearable year round, except for maybe hot summer days.

theres no lychee listed but something about my skin's chemistry turns this perfume into a delicious juicy lychee punch with fresh bright roses. instant LOVE. i can imagine this is good for all seasons!!

this is such a fun and sexy perfume! i love how the peony and rose blend well together. as soon as i first smelled it in store I had to buy it. perfect for a summer day or night.

Fave bombshell?! No fruit notes listed, but this is fruity fresh rose scent to me. Paired with my BBW Belle lotion and it’s a great combo.

this smells sooo good, smells like something out of the house of dior or lancôme. its so expensive for what it is though :((((

I def get the Mugler Nova lychee vibe comparison, reminds me more of Lovissima. nothing spectacular but fun to layer with.

First of all the bottle is just beautiful. Nice weight and feel and the atomizer is solid. The plum color is just ahhhh 😍. I agree for the most part with the reviewer that said this is a dupe of Lancôme Midnight Rose. There are some differences though. I owned Midnight Rose and wore it exclusively for months many years ago. MR is heavier on the raspberry whereas Bombshell Passion’s “jammy” sweetness comes more from the rose itself. The rose in this reminds me of Miss Dior 2017. I actually prefer this over MR. Less fruity and more floral than MR and budget friendly. It sits closer and doesn’t project as much but lasts just as long. Not a bad thing. I don’t always want my perfume to enter the room before I do! It is linear and smells the same from first spray to hours later. Some may appreciate that. No surprises with funky base notes emerging hours in. I scored this for $25 with the cyber Monday sale so it’s definitely a keeper. Good on Victoria’s Secret for a perfume that doesn’t smell like candy and has some quality behind it! They’ve stepped up their game a bit with Bombshell Passion. P.S. I smell a touch of cedar here as well. Gives it a “dry” feel but balances everything nicely.

Wow...How I miss this type of rose perfume. Back in 2006, my most beloved rose perfume is Rose Absolute by Yves Rocher. She was the one and only one, my signature. I keep repurchasing it over and over but never stock it up. Little did I know, in the perfume world, we have to cope with the "discontinued". I should have stocked that perfume that last for my whole life. Bombshell passion does not smell anyway near Rose absolute but they both put you in the same mood, same character. There is very put off sharp opening but then it quickly blossom into a very sweet rose. I mean...a pile of pink petals, deep beautiful pink roses with that pink summer peonies. It smells like a syrupy juicy rose but not in a gourmet way. It just full bloom roses. Very intense rose perfume. Dry down has a slightly woody note. This perfume just remind me of a younger me who was 19 at a time, skinny jean with a jean jacket on top of a tank, black heels, black Rayban and a red lipstick. Oh I miss that chic and playful version of myself.

I have a rollerball of this, so I see how my experience may not be 100% spot-on. By using a rollerball, I always thought I'd be missing out on some of those aromatic aerosols that come from a spray. Anyway, this is a lovely fragrance. Absolutely PERFECT for springtime .. rosy, airy, dewy. Conjures up a vision of a stroll through a seaside garden in the cutest pastel floral sundress, a whiff of sea air, a short rainstorm that gave way to dew, sunshine, blue sky. However, this smells very much like one of my aunts. I HIGHLY doubt she wears this exact frag, but still ... I don't like wearing perfumes that smell like other people in my family/circle. I want to respect their unique fragrance choices, and I want to have my own fragrance ~*vibe*~ haha. If not for that, I would keep it, but I'll be returning it.

My first impression of this is that of a wine spritzer! It's lifted, but fruity in a marginally adult way - not a *simple* straight-up fruit. It has that exceedingly familiar fresh floral+vanilla+clean musk trio that we find in many, many current market releases. The vanilla is light, but there certainly is some within this despite not being listed (I suspect that is standard for nearly all VS perfumes). This smells like it could be within the Carolina Herrera Good Girl line. If you enjoy some of those, you might like this. The best thing about this is that it never gets very heavy. Despite the deeper bottle color, it's actually fairly fresh. My gut reaction is telling me - 'Summer evening.' 🌅

The body mist version immediately reminded me of being fifteen years old and thinking this was what "grown-up sexy" smelled like. It's sweet, flirty, playful and a little dramatic. In a teenage "tonight's gonna be a movie" kinda way. What surprised me was that the perfume version felt much more elegant. The sweetness was smoother, the rose felt more refined, and the whole composition seemed more confident. Less teenage party, more grown woman. It's still not entirely me, but I've found myself wearing it more often than I expected.

What a lovely rose here. That note is POPPIN, it’s the first thing that stood out from the moment I sprayed my sample. I see this fragrance being compared to Angel Nova and that’s somewhat amusing to me, because I absolutely HATE the way that scent wears on me. It was so screechy and alcoholic and just an awful overall experience. This scent is not a scrubber for me, in comparison. Beautifully blended jammy rose perfume that could work year-round, day or night. Idk why it took me so long to try this one, but I’m into it.

VERY sharp and scratchy in the opening. I didn’t pick up on any of the original bombshell DNA that I know and love. I don’t get the cassis note at all, but after a few minutes it turned into a wonderful rose and cassis scent! She’s like Midnight Rose’s more fun and easy going sister. Edit: lost ALL of the top notes and turned into a super screechy sharp note I cannot describe. This does smell great layered with the original Bombshell but unless you already have the original, I don’t think this is worth it.

This is a very fun and flirty scent. At first whiff it's warm and playful but it unfortunately doesn't last long, maybe 3 hours at most, then you have to reapply. As others have mentioned I am surprised that there is no fruit notes since it's very "juicy" as well. I do recommend for a young teen looking for a fun scent since it skews on the younger side and isn't truly "sexy".

Reminds me of lancomes midnight rose. I think im not into rose and berry perfumes because I got rid of that one & I gave this perfume to my friend. I kept the mini body spray I had of this but honestly I dont see myself reaching for this at all. Just not my type of scent but it is well blended and I would recommend you try it out for yourself!

I am shocked at the lack of fruit listed in the pyramid, as I get a very fruity, feminine, sexy scent. Most VS perfumes either smell cheap or exactly the same to me, but this is certainly an underrated diamond out of the bunch. I like it a ton, and for the price it's worth picking up if you're looking for a new sexy scent to try out.

If you like Mon paris (one of my favorite) you'll love this. It dosn't smell the same but its the same kind of perfume. Mon Paris is slightly more sweet. This one is fresh and fruity, roses are not too strong. Performance could be better.

Probably my second favorite Bombshell flanker right behind Isle. A bold floral that isn't too sharp or scratchy. Smells like plush florals with some sparkly fruitiness from the cassis. Lasts decently, but you might wanna reapply a bit.

IMO I don’t get any of the 3 notes that are in here lol. To me it smells fruity like passion fruit or fruit punch, she’s tangy. But this is one of my favorite of all Bombshells considering I don’t like the original. Solid 8/10.

Very nice - I liked it for ~6 months when I wore it before switching to another perfume, but now when I go to wear it it often smells very overwhelming. I can't spray too much or it'll make me a little sick

really a nice take on rose! is very rose heavy but still feels super youthful and playful. smells super pink and the cassis is quite juicy!! not dank like it can sometimes be to my nose lol.

I love the way this smells, but it gives me a raging headache - had to return it.

Very rosey and not a clean and fresh rose but a dark and thick rose. I don't hate it, it's kinda classy and pretty and also ageless, pretty long lasting as well. But as someone who was looking for a similar vibe to Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet , I didn't get it. I do not smell the peony in any of the bombshell fragrances that claim to have it and I don't get fruitiness from this at all. Only rose. I'll still enjoy it in fall. It's not bad. Overall bombshell perfumes are very expensive for what they are. There are so many better options in this price range. I don't think I'll ever try bombshell seduction since I'm scared of the sage note, so far my ratings are Bombshell OG 8/10 Bombshell passion 7/10 Bombshell intense 6/10 (I did not consider their prices while rating them. Just the perfumes themselves)

It's alot going on in this fragrance I feel though only 3 notes are listed its fruity from the dark berries, woodsy, warm, floral, fresh, Sweet. But something about it doesn't work for me its a small part of it that smells like men's cologne that combined with the sweetness and woodsy notes just don't mesh well. While it is a pretty fragrance I'm not feeling this one.

A fairly generic rose perfume, the type I remember from childhood in the 2000s (which it being VS makes sense). Sort of a syrupy rose, sweet like most VS perfumes are. Not offensive or complex if you like roses could be a decent option. I tried three of their fragrances and decided Very Sexy Oasis was the stand out best one.

i love VS perfumes, but this one is a major pass. not because it smells bad, but because it is so insanely boring. it quite literally just smells like “perfume.” nothing memorable, nothing special. if you want sweet flirty girly, just go with the OG bombshell or tease and call it a day!

I did not care for this version of bombshell. It was too screechy and like a very floral fruit punch on me.
