Canyon Blooms

I wore this for the first time today and got stopped in the store by someone asking what I’m wearing, they said they’re usually sensitive to scents but really liked the way it smelled because it smelled “clean but pretty” lol. And I only wore three sprays. To me I get a fruitiness which I assume to be the pear which is listed on the Victoria’s Secret website, but is not listed here for some reason. I also get a bit of warmth/woodiness. So it’s a fresh warm fruity type of scent, I personally really do like it.

The opening is heavy on the driftwood, which is buttery/creamy and smells like cashmeran. I dislike cashmeran, so it was hard to get through the first 20 minutes. I was surprised because other reviewers mentioned this being a generically floral scent. And it does get there, after the first 20 minutes. Canyon Blooms turns into a slightly warm fruity-floral. The fruity notes are a mystery. Something sweet, smooth, and tropical. It does compare to cactus fruit in past VS mists, but it doesn't get as bubble gummy. The closest mist I can think of is VS Poolside Service. As for the floral notes, there is nothing distinctive or identifiable. It's just a warm floral base with all the notes blended together. For the last 2 hours, the driftwood becomes the main note again. Overall, this is a pleasant, people-pleasing mist. I see why it's popular in this collection. Four sprays lasted me 6 hours on skin. It's soft, gentle, and sweet. If you want projection, you can skip it.
