Coconut Passion Brulee

Brulee for real now, this definitely lives up to the hype but is it literally? Cham,pora-do! I'm not getting OG Coconut Passion anything from this mist. Not coconut in any form, orchid, or vanilla the way we're used to them bringing. I do however strongly agree with others who've stated Coconut Passion Brulee has a powerful Vanilla Lace/Vanilla Bean Noel association in it's profile. This gives a lovely realistic homestyle desert effect, and lends well to the realism of a Brulee concept. Nothing about this release carries a sharp or particularly intrusive odor, so also works for spritzing as a skin scent which may be why some think it's light, and others that it sticks and is warmed by, are getting a full-on walking bakery moment. The closest to this effect I've had, is when I lived in Coty's Vanilla Fields as a teen watching everyone look around and talking about fresh sugar cookies. Vanilla Fields is not like Coconut Passion Brulee, but they have do overlap in the way they do vanilla and project. Not even Tihota has done that on me. Brown Sugar? It's the star of the show to be sure, but it's the way that it's done that stands out. This brown sugar note is precisely the scent emitted when heating piloncillo into thick cream when making flan, or caramelizing it alone on a pan. I can't eat sugars, wheat or dairy among a host or other delicious things... so baking and cooking them for others and enjoying the smells has been a lifelong passion and it's been fun to contrast similarities and differences in that with perfumery. Here, the brown sugar carries an enveloping simmering quality that's a bit rice pudding-like which should have been in Velvet Petals Brulee (currently haven't had the pleasure of such in that masc. musk bomb- pairing both would be incredible). To clear up more confusion about the quality of this caramelized brown sugar/ 'cooking sugar' impression which Coconut Passion Brulee gives: There is not samoas, cookies, biscuit, pie crust, graham crust element, nor anything macaroon either- CPB lacks bakery OR savory toasted nut notes. Nothing lactonic, salted, buttery or syrupy caramel. Not nutty, wooded, amber or earthy. No heated sugar air/cotton candy, warmed jam or toasted ozonic marshmallow at all, no meringue or even a burnt brulee crisp topping. Cooked brown sugar, a la steaming pan, perhaps or sweet custard pudding skin fresh from the oven sort of thing. Caramel scents tend to give me a vague cilantro edge before settling into syrupy depths- no cilantric odor at any time in this one. Neither does it lean into bright projecting 'toffeed' sugar as in Kyse Praline au Caramel: Just warm, comforting dulce de leche. On the 'coffee' impression CPB lends: Specifically 'caramelized' in this context means purely 'heated brown sugar' conveying an unrefined sweet. Condensed, thick, rich. Some may associate milk chocolate (read sugary milk solids with scant traces of chocolate) as also present, without any traces of fruity deep cacao or cocoa butter in this medley. This is how CPB can come off somewhat like a fresh cafe latte, not due to adding a coffee note but by way of these same scents occupying the latte scent space as well. I'd be so thrilled to find coconut, cocoa butter, shea or jojoba in here, alas nothing of the sort. Interestingly, the brown sugar 'Caramel' in this fragrance might be the same blend as was used in Glitter Hustle which was described as '24k caramel', but GH's intoxicating ambery-cedar laced profile takes it's creamy delectable tres leche base in another direction. Cousins, not siblings. That brings us to... Toasted coconut flakes. Girl shut the entire house, ain't no coco, nut, buttered, flakes nor toasted whatever you're on about anywhere near or in this. DELULU. I'd like to have a word with whoever kept that on the ad copy. Steamed. Milk. Not to be mistaken for trending 'milk' fragrances as of late- just actual hot milk in a pan. Fascinating. When I compared Coconut Passion Brulee, to Coconut Cream Pie layered with Vanilla Bean Noel there was stronger resemblance and harder to tell the difference, than when I layered OG BBW Coconut Cream Pie with their Coco Shea (very toasted coconut) which was crazy strong but not similar to CPB. Bringing up because it was added as a comparison: Coconut Passion Noir. That one develops from sweetened juicy rum into toasted coconut, and lacks the rich warm cream of Coconut Passion Brulee. How they are similar outside of the name they share as flankers is lack of florals in their compositions, they both posses a sweet and an alcoholic note as well. But Rum and Vanilla are just completely different things in all respects. So they share quite little in common after first spray dries down. Ultimately I am inclined to toss this one into the same heap as Vanilla Lace and Almond Blossom & Oat Milk for the Oof owy ow oh god why days when comfort is all I have to hold on by.

I'm OBSESSED! I got a free spray! I NEED like four backups! 1,000/10 scent! It smells like a caramel dessert! I have ma own scent combo! I use "Brown Sugar" hair and body spray! By "PINK"! "Coconut Passion Brûlée" obvi! Plus "Cherry Baby" by Sabrina Carpenter! I figured since all three have brown sugar! They'd pair well and they do! Today was day 2! Of ma bestie sayin, "I smell brown sugar!" I said, "It's meeee!" Don't even question it! BUY ITTTT! If smellin edible is what ya do! Order it! Ya WON'T regret it!🥰🔥👏🏽💓💓💓💓

I am obsessed with Coconut Passion Brûlée! This smells so good on my skin! My goodness! I cannot stop smelling myself, its so addicting! I am getting mostly the smell of caramelized sugar; like the Brûlée's sugar crust, the vanilla and that creamy coconut, the same coconut from the OG coconut passion. I love how I'm catching whiffs of it for hours. 🥥🍮 I need back ups!😍

Fantastic body mist 🤍🥥 More creamy and less floral than the og, which I love! Reminds me of St Barth vanilla milk and coconut oil, which is exactly what I was looking for. Sugary vanilla-coconut cookie type of scent. Surprisingly not cloying in heat, and I can feel it hourS after applying 😍

most gorgeous body spray i’ve ever had. honestly smells like heaven. kind of get a pinch of warm rice pudding with cinnamon in it when i use it with the lotion, bought today in store and i’ve already ordered back ups !!!! best out of the brulees

This was actually my favorite from the Brulee line-up. It smells like brown sugar and a hint of coconut. Not as much coconut as coconut passion. Kinda smells like cake as well. Some kind of foody fragrance I suppose.

This reminds me a bit of Vanilla Bean Noel. I get caramel, tonka and spun sugar, delicious!!💜 Edit: My parents said it smelled like coffee, like a caramel frappe.

Really good flanker. The brown sugar here is the star. Blended well with the coconut. I personally found it to be one of the strongest flanker out of the collection; I didn't have to bring it up to my nose to smell it. This entire collection is cozy. All of these are skin scents truly, but I got almost 2 hrs of wear before it faded significantly.

I blind bought this and I love it. I don't get any coconut, sadly, but to me this smells like warm pancakes and syrup. Very gourmand. It honestly smells STICKY lol, like I touched my wrist where I sprayed it to make sure I didn't feel sticky (I didn't) but the syrup smells makes it seem like it's sticky. If that makes sense

burnt brown sugar, I'm into it

There’s a weird note in here that smells off/stale like a Custard Cream biscuit that has been left out and is omitting a dull milky sweetness... This Brûlée collection probably just doesn’t agree with my body chemistry. Returned.

I was so dissapointed. It smells so bad, straight upp like henna. It has a really herby and sickly smell to it. I did not get any coconut or gourmand vibes. Had to scrub it off and ended up giving it away.

I’ve heard lots of people going on about how bare vanilla brulee is the lightest smelling of this collection but honestly this one is. When I first got it I smelled absolutely nothing at all. I’ve given it a week to settle and each new time I spray it I can tell it’s finally coming to life. It’s still very weak though. I was really curious to try this one because i’m a coconut hater for the most part unless it’s super gourmand and not toasty or sunscreen (plastic IMO) at all. The toasted coconut flakes note had me worried but I knew I had to give it a try and i’m pleasantly surprised!! It’s super creamy and smooth. The coconut is very soft and not too detectable. I mostly get a vanillic brown sugar type of scent. I’ve seen it be compared to what Samoa's smell like and it does kind of remind me of them!

This smells absolutely delicious! Brown sugar and coconut are prominent. This fragrance is definitely not a strong hitter so you don’t have to worry about it being cloying in the summer. Longevity & Sillage are not the best but if you’re looking for a sweet fragrance that’s light for the summer, I highly recommend! Edit: Paired this Brown Sugar Oil + The matching lotion and this is THUMPING. When i tested it yesterday, it was around 75 degrees just mist alone but it’s 90 right now and im making myself hungry. I dont like buying backups of fragrances but im considering. Still not cloying even in high temps.

Quite literally Vanilla Bean Noel Brûlée I don’t get much coconut (a good thing for me personally). I get burnt brown sugar and vanilla. It’s a bit smokey almost, but in a dessert kind of way sort of like ... crème brûlée. So i’d say this is definitely a successful take on the “brûlée” concept

Very brown sugar forward. Love it and the longevity. VS flankers tend to be longer lasting than their originals. Love this. Will be repurchasing
