Fabulous

This is a fabulous summer fragrance! It literally blooms in the heat & humidity. I've found it lasts hours longer in summer than any other season. Decent moderate projection that settles into a skin scent after 3-4 hrs. It's never overwhelming or heavy, never too sweet or cloying. Won't cause headaches or nausea. I gave up on cooler weather wearing off it all together. Fabulous is just beautifully fresh with such a beautiful soft floral airiness to it. I do tend towards some nose blindness with this fragrance & thought at first it was just not lasting. However, I found out others can still smell it 2-3 hrs longer than I usually do. I could bathe in it, I love it so much! I've also found I can add to its longevity by layering Fabulous with either VS Love or VS Paris. It mixes beautifully with both of them! Btw, VS Paris is also another fab summer fragrance even though it usually seems to be released more often in the cooler months.

I finally got around to sample this fragrant. It's not a bad scent compared to all the new VS perfumes coming out this year, such as Tease Please and Heart Breaker. I really absolutely love the opening to Fabulous. It's enticing, youthful, and what a breath of fresh air! The fun stops about right there. The dry down reminds me of a mixture between the chemical laced Bombshell and exhilarating scent of VS Body perfume. I am not a fan of this fragrant after the dry down. IT's a bit too bitter for my taste. If only they were able to keep the fragrant smell consistently like the opening few minutes or so, I would fall madly in love with this fragrant. Enough to pay for full price. Sadly this one is a morpher into something bitter. I am waiting for the next perfume hitting the market. The great news is, VS is always coming out with something new for everyone even if this one doesn't work out for me.

This review is for the Fabulous fragrance mist not the perfume. It's fruity-floral-fresh, sweet and very feminine. It's a light scent, not a lot of warmth which is why I prefer it for spring/summer. It's also one of those scents that doesn't change very much from first spray to dry down. This is also one of the only scents I've gotten compliments on at work (at the time I was around 22) by a nice lady (probably in her late 30s) who wanted to know what it was. I think this scent would work for a large variety of ages. There's also something in it that reminds me of Clinique Happy which is what my mother wears, so that makes me enjoy it even more :)

I can't tell you what notes I detect because im not really good at that but I can tell you that fabulous is a lovely smell and im surprised it doesn't get too many positive views. Granted, the longevity and sillage sucks (like literally). This is the type of sent that I would wear to bed combined with the lotion, it is something that I would share with just my boyfriend because it is a pretty, intimate scent and it's definitely not a headturner. So I don't really wear this to work or school or to any outside activity for that manner, just to bed because of the sexy, intimate feeling it gives me.

I will admit to being a Victoria's Secret snob, in that I automatically was inclined to find all of their scents generic and similar. Well time and again I have been proven wrong, now that I have actually given some of these scents a real chance! I like Fabulous quite a bit! Far more that I had anticipated. To me it is almost identical to South Beach by Paris Hilton, except for the fact that there is a delicious gourmand whipped cream note in Fabulous that prevents it from being cloying like South Beach can become. As for longevity I am going on 4 hours and there is no end in sight :).

This is quite good, and that surprises me, tbh. VS frags tend to be too much: too sweet, too full of fantasy notes, too cheap. F. has all the notes I usually dislike: red currants, whipped cream, musk. And yet there's something really likable about F., the composition is more than the sum of its parts. It's not in the pyramid, but there's a hint of tea in F. Maybe from the Osmanthus? Performance is modest, almost a skin scent. That's OK, sometimes I like a light perfume rather than a heavy hitter.

I own Viva La Juicy La Fleur which is one of my favorites and I got a sample of Fabulous, sprayed each one on each arm and I couldn't tell the difference, however La Fleur lasts longer and its richer more intense. Id buy Fabulous only to use it daily so that I wont waste my beloved La Fleur. Idk why VS comes up with perfumes such as Noir Tease which smells almost like Viva La Juicy Noir (or the original) and Fabulous which is pretty identical to La Fleur smh.

Very nice fragrance, not super special. I loove how the fruity notes come through, I like it much more than other generic perfumes I smell if I'm honest. Not something I would wear day to day. Super sweet and light. Most VS perfumes I don't really like because they all smell the same, but this one stands out a little more than the others to me. I think the florals work well together and blend very nicely with the fruitiness.

I have been searching for something similar to my all time favorite VS scent that has long been discontinued (my beloved Gardenia). While this doesn't really have the gardenia, it does have the soft, clean summery drydown that brings back fond memories of the summer of '94! The nostalgia that I get from sniffing it is reason enough for me to add it to my collection!

Gentle floral scent, very pleasant, comforting, like cloud of sweet fantasy. For hot summer - it is just perfect. In other seasons it could be too delicate. On my skin, longevity is good, I can smell it after many hours. However, my skin is rather oily, so perfumes stick to me usually well. Everyone has to test on their own skin.

To me this just smells just like grapefruit and that’s all I can smell. I don’t smell any of the other notes. I do like it and I wear it when I want something fresh and subtle for spring/summer. It doesn’t last a long time and it isn’t overwhelming or strong. It’s almost more like a body spray than a perfume.

Not sure if it's just me but I get a pretty strong tea note in this. My bottle isn't the original one so I'm not sure if it was reformulated. It's a safe citrusy, shampooy, tea scent to me. I don't reach for it often but it's on my list to use up this year so I plan on getting to know it better.

Fabulous is a pleasant, fairly generic, fruity floral. It’s mildly sweet and has no sharp notes. Although I wouldn’t call it fabulous, this is the sort of scent I call pretty. It’s pleasing to most people, it’s a soft scent, and it’s quite safe. The color pink suits it well.

baby's first fruity floral. it's nice! just...nice. nothing new. kinda unmemorable. i like it, but I don't see myself wearing it all the time. super inoffensive, very light, great for warm weather. surprisingly enough, I don't have a lot to say about this one.

It's very fruity and sweet, but not in your face like "Pure seduction" or "Velvet petals," and I'm guessing its the whipped cream. This was a blind buy for me and I got lucky because I love it and it smells so good! Definitely a Spring or summer scent

Great during summer in heat and humidity. A beautiful fruity floral blend with an smooth sweetness. Love it. Right now layering it with Pink tropic vanilla.

This smells exactly like Viva La Juicy La Fleur. Ugh, waste of money since I already own Viva La Juicy La Fleur. No staying power for this.

I got it as a gift. Its a nice fragrance. But that's all about it. I found it very generic for my taste.

For the first half hour, all I could smell was bug spray. Maybe it uses citronellol - I think I’m sensitive to it. After that, some delightful fresh floral notes. 🌸

Just your average fruity scent. Citrus heavy. A decent, safe everyday scent.

I would love to have this work for me. I test it on the test paper, and it smells gorgeous. I test it on my skin and its just weak..I spray it once and i cant smell it, it seems flat on my skin. I ask one of the associate to sniff on my wrist and tell me, which wrist i spray the perfume on. And she cant tell either.So i re-spray this 3-4 times, there I can smell it, but barely. Idk..maybe its just doesnt work with my chemical. Sad..:( I really love the scents though. so fresh and sexy i must say.. Make sure you test this on your skin before you purchase it. If it works for you, go for it, if its not..welcome to the club!

Oh dear oh dear..same old ...same old.. This reminded me of Bombshell(which I have and wear)but more clean and citrusy. I can't really say its smells tropical to my nose at all(as another reviewer commented). When I sprayed it on my hand, it dissappeared under an hour. Incidentally, it kind of looks like Bombshell bottle too, except shape is slightly different. I really would love for VS not just turn out a scent every month but produce something that is actually different from what they already have. It smells nice enough but SO simular to what they already have and kind of generic

This was a blind buy for me. If I didn't like it, all I had to do was return it. They make it sound so delicious in the description. I knew I loved Lily of the Valley when I bought the VS 1st Love for myself and sent it as a gift to my friends, but the Lily of the Valley in this concoction didnt work for me. I love oranges, that's why I got the Seville Orange perfume oil from Nest. Fabulous offered none of that citrus juiciness for me. I love the musk dry down in Dior's new Blooming Bouquet. Fabulous was a fab-u-NONE for me. All I had to do was return it. Returned she is!

We got this as a gratis and I am in love with it! I can see why most people would call it a fruity floral but compared to the Bombshell, this is much more fresh and almost tropical. I've been wearing it as an every day fragrance and I've gotten a lot of "who in this room smells so good?" haha. My only downside is that on my skin, it doesn't seem to last very long. Since it was a gratis I received the smaller size but once this runs out I'll probably pick up the larger one, I will definitely be wearing this fragrance all spring and summer!

i got a sample of this at victoria's secret a few days ago since I bought a few things. I am not a fan of VS perfumes, to me they all smell the same (musky and blah). This one, however, is a bit different. I agree with a review below in that it is sort of tropical. It's sweet, to me it smells a little like pineapple (even though that is not one of the notes). It maintains a pretty consistent smell even after the dry down. It lasts a looong time, and is quite strong at first. I like it. I may be purchasing a bigger bottle...

While I generally like VS fragrances, I found this one disappointing. I wouldn't call it an "innovative floral" myself. It isn't a bad scent, it just smells so much like the other VS fragrances. Plus it didn't last more than an hour on my skin. If I received this as a gift I wouldn't mind wearing it, but it isn't worth the money at full price, in my opinion anyway. I like the bottle, and thought I would live the fragrance based on the notes, but this one will be a "pass" for me this time around.

As I sniff my wrists with delight, 2 hours into wearing Fabulous, I'm surprised at the numerous negative reactions found in this forum! Maybe it's the chemistry thing, but I find this to be a lovely and atypical scent from VS. It's sweet but in a muted way, more so after the dry-down. It's possible that my all-time fave Vanilla Lace has mixed in on my wrists, but if so, what a great blend! There's a nice light citrus-y sparkle that mixes perfectly with the "whipped warmth". Baby soft! I love it!

I appreciate reading reviews on this site as most are helpful when trying to choose a new scent. I bought Fabulous as a blind buy (store had no tester)in a rollerball on a close out sale at VS for a great price - BUT as I see in reviews above, no longevity on most people. I got about an hour out of it..sad to say as I really like the fruity-clean-not-overpowering scent of this fragrance. I am very picky with what I wear and this one is a keeper...now I'm searching for the lotion.

I won this off ebay a while ago, and pretty much forgot about it. I pulled it out today, and am finding it to be really nice for summertime. It's sweet, but fresh, and not overly floral, which I like. It is rather similar to some other VS scents, but I don't view that as a bad thing. Sillage seems okay, and longevity seems decent too. They recently changed the bottle, for the worse, I'd say. I have the old bottle, thank goodness. The new one is tacky.

I've had this for a couple of years. This is what I think of when someone describes a fragrance as "shampoo" scent, or even a clean scent. ??? It smells like a citrusy soap 🫧🧼 to me. Kinda smells like a summer-y scent. I like it. I think that I can only detect the mandarin, one of the floral notes (probably freesia) and a very light musk.

My boyfriend bought me if for Valentine's Day, and now it's discontinued. I'm happy I have it, it's a scent you can wear everyday and wouldn't bother others around you. Not my favorite, but it's definitely the most unique perfume I own. The notes in it are different which is nice for a change.

I really like this fragrance but for some reason it doesn't last long on my skin. Its been a really long time since VS came out with anything that I would consider buying. It is a nice fresh, fruity floral. I can really pick up the rose notes in it. Overall it is a good perfume.

Smells exactly like Paris amour from bath and body works. I was hoping it would smell like my favorite discontinued body mist wild at heart but since fragranctica won't make a page for it I guess my hunt still continues

I get the apricot very mildly but other than that, this is a very generic fruity floral. Longevity is actually not too bad though, and I can still smell it after applying around 8hrs ago. Very safe, very average.

It's fine, smells nice. I can't say I reach for it often, it's as casual scent. Something that you know will fit any occasion, but I also don't think about it much.

This smells really good I smell Strawberry even though strawberry does not appear to be in the notes and the whipped cream and vanilla is sweet and soft.

Smells like watermelon jolly ranchers. Not even close to Victoria’s Secret best. They have really fabulous perfumes but this is not one.

it smells a bit like you have a bowl of water and add some light sweet fresh fragrance in it and put it in a bottle:/ not so very good

Is it just me or this bottle is a tacky copycat of Gucci? (gucci by gucci edt, gucci by gucci edp and gucci premiere)

this is nice and non-offensive .. this is nice for office wear. very light floral scent with a tangy fruity smell.

Isaac Mizrahi must be ticked-off. His "Fabulous" hasn't been out that long.
