Glamour

This is still one of my favorite VS perfumes ever made! I have both the eau de parfum and body mist. I will agree w/ everyone else on these atomizers that even though they are aesthetically nice they are also really annoying. I've only had one fragrance w/ this type of atomizer that broke on me over time but haven't had that be the case w/ this one *knocks on wood*. This fragrance though is just amazing! After all these years and I still don't get bored of it which is VERY rare. I love gardenia and mango. This fragrance incorporating the two is just a literal dream come true for me. But the amber note takes it to a different level. If you love the Moroccan Oil hair products you will love this! The amber mixed w/ the fruity floral notes in here remind me so much of that line. Actually it's what got me to repurchase Glamour a few years ago when I went to the salon for highlights and the girl put the Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment on my hair after. It reminded me of Glamour right away and made me realize just how phenomenal this fragrance is. Even though VS released it during the Winter this reminds me so much of Summer time and has a slight exotic aroma about it. The amber makes it wearable during the Winter months too, I just mentally connect Glamour to a summery exotic vibe. If they bring this one back for a Semi Annual Sale I will stock up like crazy! I have not been able to find anything the levels up to this. It's everything I could want in a fragrance. Wish VS would create more unique fragrances like this. The ones they have been releasing all remind me of other fragrances out on the market.

Just got this today and it smells so lovely. Smells sweet and fruity but not overly so and I love the subtle amber. The minute I put it on in the store, I immediately knew I had to get it. It is super long lasting...I put it on 5 hours ago and I could still smell it, that's even after washing my hands a few times. Go test it out! One of my favorites from Victoria Secret!

This was my summer scent last year, and I still have about half the bottle left. What they list is what you get: all three notes are there from the beginning, there is no evolution of the layers to this scent. However, it is a rather fun, tropical scent--it reminds me of a day wandering along a Caribbean garden followed by a night of partying at an outdoor club. The mango gives it a fresh juiciness, the gardenia gives it a feminine touch, and the mango provides a warm and sexy base. I think the bottle is adorable, and it's part of the reason I bought it, however the bulb atomizer frequently stops working (this is a complaint I see recurring on all VS perfumes with the bulb atomizers), and I'd prefer just a normal spray mechanism, perhaps with a cute cap. The sillage is very close, and the longevity is very poor for the price. I paid about $20-25 for this, though I believe the normal price is around $65. For $65, a perfume should last more than two hours. I'll use and enjoy for now, but I'm wary of repurchasing, especially since the EDPs/EDTs rarely go on sale compared to the body mists.

It's an okay perfume, but like others said, not the strongest. My husband complimented me on this one time, which makes me like it more. I like to wear perfumes he likes on me. I wish VS would stop making perfumes with these ridiculous bulb atomizers though. One of their best perfumes, Sexy Little Things Noir, has this same sprayer, so I hardly ever reach for it because it's such a pain. I've read they tend to break and leak too, although so far, I've had good luck with mine. The writing on the bottle is elegant, and the bottle has an overall classy look. Glad it doesn't have any stupid big bow(like two of their other perfumes had), that make it hard to spray. I guess I'm glad I got it, but I don't wear it that often. I do find it to be slightly different than a lot of others VS has put out recently. From the notes it sounds like it would be really tropical and fruity, but on me it's actually got a very slight masculine edge. I tend to stay away from unisex perfumes, and I lean stronger towards sugary, fruity perfumes though.

I like this one a lot. To my nose, it doesn't evolve very much--the top, middle, and base notes are present from the beginning. The strongest notes are the gardenia and amber, and the mango is subtle. The amber makes for a very sexy scent. For me, I prefer it as an evening/special occasion scent due to the sexiness of the amber, but I can see a powerful, confident older woman getting away with wearing this in the office as well. I really like the bottle design, but I am not a fan of the atomizer, as I've seen a lot of complaints that it stops working when you're only halfway through the bottle. Sillage is moderate, forming a 1-2 foot bubble. The one thing that keeps me from loving it and repurchasing, though, is its longevity. It only lasts maybe four hours max. I paid $40 during the semi-annual sale in January, so it's not very cost effective. Nevertheless, I shall use and enjoy this until the bottle is gone.

This perfume is really nice and soft, yet it doesn't last... The bottle looks nice, with the vintage spritzer , yet it is a bit gimmicky, can't see myself taking this bottle in the bag for example... Overall, i bought the 100 ml in sale for 85 QR (around 26 USD) which is a bargain, yet i am not buying it again

Warm, boudoir scent, a bit smoky, ladylike for sure. I think it is better for party use than daytime. Amber is quite strong, so you need to like amber to be able to wear it. And this bottle! It is 100% stylish!

i really like the smell but instead of buying it for myself i gave it to my mum instead. the dry down is a really gorgeous gardenia. not like the gucci one though. i think any women can wear this.

Oh wow, I forgot I left a review on this almost a year ago, but here's another with some additional information. My mom got this as a gift a few years ago, and like most of her beauty gifts, she ends up giving them to me. I did use it pretty often at one point to try to give it a fair shot, but I've grown to really not like it. The smell reminds me of a basic teenager or college girl, which I am not. I'm in my late 20s but never cared for this kind of scent at that age anyway. It's difficult for me to describe the scent; I guess it smells "fruity and fresh" in a generic department store kind of way. Another problem I had with it was that the atomizer stopped working after a while. With that, I impulsively and wastefully dumped the whole bottle with about 80% of it remaining...just a few minutes ago. If the nozzle were still working, I would have just given it away, but even though the top screws off and this can be poured into another bottle, it's not even worth that to me.

I can't seem to smell this fragrance at all! I used to work at VS and everytime I would spray this, I wouldn't be able to smell it. Everyone else could though so I don't know if it's just me or what. But I noticed that I could smell other scents that some people would have trouble smelling (for example I had a customer tell me that she couldn't smell the fabolous perfume that I sprayed for her but the smell was definitely there to me). Hmm...well on to the next one!

Fruity with a hint of spiciness, probably from the amber. The only thing I don't like about it is that while I can smell it on my skin after several hours, the sillage leaves something to be desired (for me, at least). The cap can be turned open and closed. Make sure to close it when not in use, or else it may leak all over the place...like my bottle did. I keep my perfume bottles in a drawer, and now my whole drawer smells like Victoria's Secret Glamour.

The bottle design as a classic atomizer is the only really good thing about it. The scent itself is not bad it's a tropical mango very sweet with a faint white floral gardenia. It's not glamorous at all like it's name suggests. And it's not even a perfume. This is a body mist which doesn't last more than 15 minutes. I wore this first thing in the morning a few years ago and I have one bottle left. I have outgrown this fragrance and wear it from time to time when I can't choose which fragrance to wear. This is for girls in junior high to wear for a few minutes while they're in class. If you want to smell of mango for a while this is for you. Cheap and uninteresting. Victoria Secrets could do better and have done better.

I also knew as soon as I sampled it that it had to be mine. I'm going back to get it this evening. I agree that it's extremely sensual and inviting. I could see this as a day or night perfume...any season.......very fresh.....I loved what I sampled. Seemed like something a woman would smell like who's all dolled up and feeling kinda "naughty"....definately flirty and a similar feeling to sexy little things noir kind of glamohelix feeling like old time romance.but more tropical and fresh. Something reminds me of night air in the tropics.kinda likethe old time movies when people smoked and ladies used hair curlers and powder and tried to look their best.

Now i have bought the body mist, and i can feel the mango with the amber and gardenia. I like this scent, but its horrible weak :( have almost dronwed my arm with it and i have to bury my nose in my arm to be able to smell it. Does anyone else have this problem?

This perfume smells awesome, so far it's my favorite from all the Victoria's Secret perfumes. Its so sensual smelling and it's not overbearing at all. I love it...I hope it never gets discontinued...

I rly wish it smelled on me as beautifully as on the tester paper. On me it smells like fish and its non-existent after 15 mins.

smells nice for 10 minutes then it just disappears, very light, "non existing smell" perfume. well, just like all VS perfumes.

Oh what a cute and elegant bottle. The notes sounds interesting and exiting. Will get it whenever i can :)
