Glazed Fresh & Clean

I think this is such an easy reach for hot summer days, the gym, or fresh out of the shower before going to bed. When first sprayed, it reminds me of a fruit bowl with apples and oranges. Then it dries down to a sweet cream scent. Reminds me of a lemon glazed donut.

Ohhh I do not like this one! The fragrance notes are right up my street, but combined, all I can smell is a bright, clean fragrance, built around some kind of flower I dislike. I really don't get any of those beautiful fruity notes at all. It smells like a combination between 90s Lynx deodorants, and a perfume my mum used to wear - it's brash and in your face, and one squirt is extremely overpowering. I put one spritz on my wrist, couldn't scrub it off for hours, and then gave myself a migraine! My personal taste aside, it has immense staying power for a little body spray, and I don't think you need an accompanying perfume as it's very shouty all by itself. It is absolutely not a safe blind buy unless you like fragrances that punch you in the face and refuse to leave. Whilst I can see my mum wearing this, it's also the most androgynous body mist I've smelt from Victoria's Secret.

The opening is very lemony and tart. It's a high-pitched, bright lemon. Very clean. It doesn't play well with the other notes, and the effect is chaotic. There's an airy sweetness in the base, which is light and not particularly lactonic to my nose. The tart fruitiness and base don't mesh well in my opinion. However, if you prefers scents that have a clean vibe over super sugary ones, this may be your favorite in the collection. People seem to like the doughnut one or this one. It lasted maybe 2 hrs on my skin.

There is no fruit. Clean, not creamy at all. The notes promise so much, and the execution is meh. For that, a dislike.

I wouldn’t pick any lemon if it wasn’t listed on the notes, it’s clean but not fresh, it’s tart, a little bit sweet but mostly has undetectable perfume-y notes rather than something edible
