Intense

"Fragrance is the perfect complement to lingerie—the first to touch your skin, the last to linger." I don't think there's a better way to describe Victoria's Secret Intense because this fragrance absolutely screams WOMAN energy. The notes are salted praline, coconut, sueded musk, and palm noir, and I actually bought this during my Victoria's Secret discontinued fragrance obsession. I can understand why some people describe it as sweet or fruity, but to me the salted praline is definitely the star of the show. It has this slightly salty sweetness that reminds me of being at the beach because it has that subtle salty air mixed with a rich, creamy sweetness. I think this fragrance is surprisingly complex. It's sexy, sophisticated.Everything blends together beautifully, creating a scent that feels mature, luxurious, and confident. I completely understand why it's called Intense because it has such a strong, commanding presence. Personally, I see this more as a fragrance for work, formal occasions, evening dinners, or whenever you want to feel polished and put-together. You could absolutely wear it every day, but to me it really shines in more elevated settings. Either way, I absolutely enjoyed this one. It's elegant, sensual, and gives off that effortless grown woman vibe.

I remember I had a set of it and I put this on market months ago (I was broke and i needed that money) so I just bought it again, a 100ml bottle. It just smells really interesting?! I just don't know why SOMEONE would smell like this. Well if you're looking for some weird but interesting and super praline something this one is what you looking for. Oh my gawd what is that salt? I KNEW IT. It's so freaking weird but in a good way? I love to keep smelling this but why I would smell like a salty praline? 💀 I will throw up if someone use this on a hot summer but if you spray this on winter I would stalk you. This is a winter's yummy. I have never tried praline but I can taste praline on my tongue because that sillage is crazy comparing to other VS's fragrances. It's so weird... I love this. It keeps getting better and better. Wow. If you don't want to risk it up try dark angel of VS's fragrance collection. They're not siblings but are cousins and dark angel is not risky she's a grown up safe blind buy.

I have had this a couple months, and I get more compliments from men than just about any other perfume I've worn. I have to admit, I like it a lot too. Patchouli isn't listed, but I swear I smell patch in this. This perfume has become a definite favorite of mine, and it just wears really, really nicely. Longevity is better than a lot of VS perfumes, and when it's in it's last stages of dry down it's almost a vanilla scent. I love all stages of this, and it's become a top ten perfume for me. That's saying a lot, considering how many perfumes I have. Edit: I think why men love this so much is that it's so feminine, and classy, but also very sexy. Classy sexy.

This is my favorite fragrances VS has ever made! It's delicious! Coconut, plum and praline are strongest to my nose followed closely by apple and suede. It's a cosy, dark, slightly spicy tropical type scent for winter. Makes me want to try more coconut and plum combos. Yummy and a little sexy.

When I bought this, for some reason it reminded me of Christmas and I had to have it. It smells almost fizzy, but a vanilla cream on to the skin. It's not as candy smelling as the other VS perfumes, and is my signature scent currently.

To me, Intense smells a bit more complex than other Victoria's Secret perfumes. I love it! It's sweet but also slightly dark and spicy. A sexy fragrance, for sure. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

I wish VS would bring this back (new or old packaging.) This lasts forever on my skin and even longer on clothes. I truly enjoy the memories this scent brings back and how it plays on my skin ✨️

This is a really nice sweet & sexy scent. It's really nice, even nicer than VS' Bombshell for sure.

Maybe it’s because this was an Autumn release, but it’s always reminded me of a mix of candy apples and caramel apples--the bright sweet-tartness of the apple mixing with the plum and praline for a fun, if slightly basic, seasonal gourmand vibe. It’s a playfully sultry confection of a fragrance, with all the tongue-in-cheek “edginess” of sequined devil horns on a red felt headband. I enjoy the little bit of added dimension brought in by the salt note, but I’m not crazy about the suede, which seems slightly bitter and discordant as a base for this sticky-smooth floral-gourmand party favor of a fragrance.

Not unpleasant but boring. There is nothing original about this scent. The bottle is alright but large, a bit cliched and clumsy. The perfume is sugary sweet, not bad plummy top notes then dries down to a generic uninspired perfume. It's not one I pick up often so I have a full bottle. I can't pick out any coconut or salty notes which is disappointing. You would not offend anyone wearing this but you would have a bit of a generic perfume. If you like sweet, jammy but grown up scents, Nina Ricci l'Extase Rose Absolute blows this out of the water.

Victoria's Secret did a good job with this one. Smells great! Got the coconut And sweetness with some complexity. For gods sake! There is even decent longevity with this one! Wow! Keep it up! I'm paying attention. Usually I don't have any longevity with VS frags.

This is a very tropical scent and is long lasting. I swear I also smell pineapple. Reminds me of a tropical drink or suntan oil with a sweet finish.i think of the beach with this one.

I LOVE this! Upon first spritz it comes across sort of like Scandalous by VS. Sweet, praline and that dark fruity plum note. After the initial sweetness, it gets sort of richer and dryer. I smell the suede, salt and saffron. I love that spicy dryness that lingers for hours and hours. Oddly it almost seems to have a woodiness to it despite there being no woods listed in the notes. The initial sweet, and fruity top notes hang out even in the drydown. For me it is a well blended fragance. It is a sexy scent I think! PS I get no coconut from this one. PSS I can still smell Intense after 15+ hours!!

The saffron seems so out of place in this.. I would've liked this so much better as just a warm plum-apple-coconut-praline fragrance for fall/winter. And just leave the savory saffron note out. And when it dries down, the suede gives it a slight bitter note that I could also do without. So right now this one is just "ok" to me. It's not the worst, but it's been sitting in my cabinet since September 2017 and it still looks completely full. I intend to try it a few more times especially for the remainder of winter in hopes that it will grow on me.

Hooooly crap this stuff is strong. My aunt gave me her old bottle and I tried it on, gave me a headache. Smells nice in small doses, though. lasted the whole day with a few sprays to my neck.

This is awesome! Very long-lasting and intoxicating. To me, the first 10 minutes of this are intense. Reminds me of a dentist's office at first somehow, the smell. But, a few minutes later, you'll love this. The drydown is exquisite; the plum/preline/coconut are very present with plum, preline standing out the most. I actually thought it was in the 'scandalous' family but while they're a little similar, this is WAY better - it's sexy and unique. *****After 3-4 hours this does begin to smell like Ariana's perfume so goodbye delicious plum aroma :( I suppose it starts to smell sweet/flora afterl****

Sweet generic scent. I couldn’t really pick up any notes. The pyramid makes it seem far more interesting than it is in reality. I couldn’t smell any coconut which is a shame. Something about it reminds me of Ariana Grande - Cloud or Burberry - Her. Its not a dupe by any means but something in the initial blast gives that same plastic smell.

Intense is a new Victoria Secret fragrance that I had overlooked because all I kept smelling straight from the bottle & the nozzle was: COCONUT PASSION which is an older fragrance (I think from the 90's) and thought all they did was use the same formula and adorn it with a really attractive looking glass bottle. The pink liquid makes you think that it's going to smell like strawberry or rose but it's neither. I finally bought it and have worn it.It's such an interesting and changes-all-the-time perfume. I love it! The first spray is a sweet apple scent. I don't know about you but to me apple is the one fruit note that doesn't come off as super girly or feminine (like peach or strawberry). The opening to Intense is like green apple being peeled and eaten, leaving that apple scent in the air. It has a faint plum note. There's hardly any detectable floral notes except maybe a peony which is usually thrown into VS perfumes. But this time this frag focuses on the gourmand fruity smells of apple, plum, & above all coconut. The coconut in this scent is milky, sweet, and again, neither too feminine nor masculine. Smells like coconut with a hint of vanilla that matches up with a vanilla body butter I have at home. This is a delicious coconut fragrance; again similar to Coconut Passion, but with more fruit notes in it, namely that tangy apple. It's not really "intense" and it's subtle but I have discovered that when you spray too much it does turn into real perfume and the fruitiness comes through, almost like a tropical scent. Totally day wear but flexible for evening wear. The way it begins is "day" and it ends in "night". When dry the musk emerges. It's suede/leather & musk. Unisex musk. It's like a warm dark fur & leather that reminds me of the inside of a walk in closet. Warmer but still sweetened up by coconut milk. This is like a tropical fragrance for a vacation to Hawaii or the Caribbean, when you want to wear something that is sweet and not too bold. The musk is not bad but I think it's very unusual for a new VS perfume. I do like it and it's very comfortable on my skin. A pretty & very well made fragrance from the familiar Victoria Secret line. I was at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show in Paris last weekend and wore this perfume the whole time although because it was cold, the musk was dominant. It's a perfume that keeps changing in different weather. In California where I am now it's a sweet apple & coconut fruit perfume, tropical & feminine, but back in cold December Paris streets, it was a suede & leather jacket with a little more masculinity. The saffron note, I think, is also pretty unisex and has been featured in Orientals (which can be worn by guys) in such scents as Marc Jacobs Decadence. Well this is not too far from smelling like Marc Jacobs Decadence except lighter, more discreet & fruitier. This also bares a slight resemblance to Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede. Beautiful fragrance! One question that I'm dying to have an answer to: Who are the noses that make the Victoria Secret fragrances? They are never credited!

This new fragrance is better than the sum of it's parts. On me this smells like a hodgepodge of Victoria Secret fragrances that I have worn and like and continue to sell at the VS boutique to this day: Seduction Dark Orchid Coconut Passion Scandalous Night I love the bottle with the crystal glass and the pink liquid. This is a pretty vanity dresser table perfume, just like Scandalous bottle/design. The scent that most jumps out at me is the fruity notes of apple and plum. Top note is a juicy plum with a saffron note combination which sort of makes it smell like a lighter version of Marc Jacobs Decadence which shares the plum and saffron note. Spicy, fruity at the first spritz. Also rather mature and not as girly girl as some of the other VS perfumes especially those body sprays/body mists like Coconut Passion or Strawberries & Champagne. But Intense is a mix of different VS perfumes, with a sophisticated air. The coconut scent here is noticeable and as enjoyable as the Coconut in Coconut Passion. The apple is similar to the apple note in NIGHT and the praline is like the praline in SCANDALOUS. At the beginning you get sweet fruit but it deepens into little florals. They aren't listing the floral notes but they are clearly jasmine and white rose. They're on the soapy sweet side. Very pretty. At the very end of the performance, a suede/leather gives it a darker and more elegant effect than I have ever smelled on a VS perfume. This fragrance is also quite sharp, not intense, just like they made the notes have a higher volume. The dry down turns into an Oriental which is rare for a Victoria Secret. Vanilla is not listed here but there is a vanilla cream and that coconut turns into milk. In addition the praline is a bit like an almond. So I see this as both an Oriental with suede and musk as well as a gourmand with vanilla and coconut and almonds/pralines. I think of this scent as being perfect to wear to dinner dates and evening parties to wear with formal evening wear. Classy, feminine, and even a bit romantic. Even if you can dismiss this perfume as yet another VS perfume that smells like such and such previously released frag, it's no less beautiful.

I got this today. I have not worn it for a full day, but I've sprayed a few times throughout. I was looking for a coconut-based scent. The coconut/praline combo sounded amazing. Unfortunately, like caitrun, I smell no coconut at all. To my nose, Intense is a very floral and slightly sweet scent. What I do smell is patchouli, which I think is why I don't care for this very much. It's not a horrible smell. It's okay. It's just something I can't see myself wearing. I think it would be great and much sexier without the patchouli vibe. Maybe that's actually the leather note? There is also a strong plum. It does not seem to be blending with my personal chemistry, either. I'm guessing this is also just personal preference. I'm in the minority right now. I am for sure going to keep this around for a bit and see if I change my mind. I have made my mind up prematurely before on different perfumes, promptly sold them, then gone back to buy them again... and sometimes I even start to love them. It happened with Very Sexy Now 2014. I'm glad so many reviewers love Intense. It does seem to have good longevity.

This is a combination of the sweet and salty scent that is so unique to any perfume I have tried. This scent radiates a sexy, confident yet sassy lady that demands individuality. I have carefully tested some good 10 to 13 scents which falls on the same notes of fruity and vanilla, like Black Opium, Hypnotic poison and MJ Decadence, but this VS Intense is very different. I also had gone to alot of VS stores to find a scent similar to this one, knowing that this will soon be discontinued, but this is absolutely no similar than the rest of the sweet, super girly scent that the VS line of perfume has. It is reasonably long lasting and as it stays on your skin, you will smell the perfect sweet and salty combination. I live on a tropical place so IDK for which season it would work but this could be an absolute signature scent that works for both day and night time, hot and cold temperature.

i think this may be my favorite offering from Victoria's secret and that is saying something cause i love alot of their stuff. This doesn't smell like anything else they have put out that i have tried, i swear. To me it smells totally unique like they truly went out of their way to create something different. The coconut is the best coconut i have ever smelled. So milky and juicy, I love the fruity notes and the praline note is complex and always changing..sometimes like vanilla, sometimes like caramel. The salt and suede nots are very subtle which is a good thing in y opinion. I don't want to smell salty or like like completely leathery. And the body mist version is very strong. I decided to try the body m isn't version first since its cheaper and i love it so much i want the perfume version. the bottle is lovely and sexy too. so i cant wait to buy the perfume version of intense.

A great late summer/ early fall for the gourmand minded. You have to like sweet, however this isn't flat sweet. Something about it gets rounder and more radiant after a few minutes. And it's not the coconut. God knows VS loves their coconut, but I'd say this is prob more the leather notes. Good for a night falling sort of time. If you are willing to let go of the long passed days of the original Victoria and the Rapture of old (the heart, def not the new square), there are some fun treasures to be found at VS. You have to sift through the crazy non stop output of short lived fragrances, usually at sale time, and if you find one, know it prob won't be around long. That's ok by me.

I was hoping to like this because I was wanting a sexy new fall scent. I tested it a few times at VS and still can't make up my mind about it. I keep sniffing my wrist and thinking "meh". To me it smells a lot like men's aftershave and plum. It is similar to a discontinued Vs scent called Seduction Dark Orchid but not as nice in my opinion. I also detect a hint of the plastic candy note as in VS Scandalous but maybe that's just from scents mixing in the store. I wasn't crazy about Bombshell the 1st try either and it wound up being a fave so I won't rule it out yet. If I ever buy it will update my review.

Right out the gate, this has that sharp sweet smell reminding me of Gorgeous and Bombshell. The notes aren't supposed to be there, but it feels like being smacked with synthetic strawberry and grapefruit. When it starts to dry down, I catch a hint of the salt, which I was curious about, but it's wasted in this astringent assault. It calms down after about 10 minutes, but before you can really identify any other notes, it evaporates completely. Starting to think VS fragrances really are just all the same three smells mixed and repackaged.

This was another one that I picked up from the SAS for a bargain price. I wore it to bed last night, as night seemed the appropriate atmosphere for this. Plum is the key note along with juicy apple that is a bit salted. The salt note plays in intense similarly to olympea by PR. intense is the perfect name for this VS scent. It's sweet from the plum apple & praline but the salt makes this sexy, mature. I like most of you, do not smell coconut at all. I was a bit disappointed about that but it's still a beautiful scent.

I have not tested many VS perfumes in recent years, so this was well off of my radar until recently, and apparently it's been discontinued. It wasn't even on their website for an entire year. VS is kind of fickle with perfumes unless they're an immediate bestseller. Both Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret stick to what they know--fruity florals. It's sweet, sexy, feminine, and generally well liked by both men and women.

Extremely sweet, syrupy and perky opening - I felt like walking candy. The dry-down is better and more fine - the flowers are gentle, the salt note is prominent and the coconut praline is soft and melting. I am used to stronger musks with more character, so here I barely smell it. If you find it cheap and love sweet frags, you can give it a try. Yet, I gave it to my mom who traced Womenity in it due to the saltiness.

I had this back in 2016 and felt nostalgic for it so I just got an unopened bottle. I think this is the most complex scent that Victoria's Secret has ever put out, it has a little spice to it and I'm not a spice person but it's really blended well. I pick up a lot of the apple, the florals. I don't get the coconut at all. It's just a warm, fruity, pretty scent. I think it's very fall

I got a whiff of this from my Mom's clothes. I loved it so i decided to try it. So on my skin, even one spritz became nauseating. It was like a concoction of everything aromatic. I smelled only a plastic like sweetness. I got headaches when i wore it. I dont like it on my clothes either. I really wanted to like this, i guess it just doesn't work on my skin.

Reminds me so much of Bath & Body Works' Forever Red.Both I see contain Apple. I kinda prefer it to Forever Red for summer time. I think FR is for winter time. I gifted it to my mom and she wears it all the time. I take deep breaths whenever she has it on, its such a happy and sexy scent - refreshing but sweet. Ill grab one for me too.

The new release from Victoria Secrets. I had the pleasure of sampling this a few days ago as it is being promoted at the store. It’s beautiful but I didn’t feel it lasted very long. There is also a body lotion with the same scent. Perhaps if layered together, longevity will improve? It’s a wonderful smelling perfume..

if you want this for the "oriental vanilla" or coconut note, don't bother. this highly reminds me of viva la juicy couture. this is very sweet and I definitely get caramel, not coconut. , and the plum in this smells more like that artificial mixed berry note. its pleasant enough I just outgrew this kind of scent.

To me, this perfume smells exactly like Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Enchanted. I own Wonderstruck Enchanted so I will likely just get rid of this one because it does not last very long at all. Wonderstruck enchanted lasts an entire work shift for me whereas Intense maybe lasts an hour or two.

100% a recycled fragrance from a past flop collection they had. That's what they've been doing lately rebottling failed fragrances trying to sell them as new again cause they over made the formula. So annoyed. Their fragrances use to be very innovative and now... they lost me.

One of my favorite perfumes, it's in my top five and I don't really like VS perfumes very much. This is a very sensual and sexy scent. It last for a good while on my skin and has nice sillage. A present from my handsome son and a real compliment getter.

The first spray smells so delicious, I can definitely pick up coconut notes, and some tropical fruits. Unfortunately the dry down is not so nice - all the tropical aspects are gone and you're left with a very bizarre salty, preservative smell.

This was my nostalgic high school fragnance 🥺 ❤️ I remember everytime i sprayed this everyone was complimenting me in my classroom, i would even wear it now if it wasnt discontinued. Good old times. It had pretty good sillage. 🌸

Love the plum & sweet in this. Seems very complex. Love this scent's different stages. It is a bit strong, so the rollerball is perfect for applying & should last me for a while. Really pretty.

beautiful and deep. i smell apple in the opening, then smthing like plum mixed wz woods... i smell amber and it's not listed.it is sexy... expensive... but not long lasting 4 sure.
