Just A Kiss

Just a Kiss is a decent, upbeat fragrance. On my skin, it reads more along the lines of an eau Fraiche or a body mist, perhaps what some folks call a “lean in” or “skin” scent. As far as the “lipstick” notes, I don’t really detect that in this fragrance, although the mind wants to say you subconsciously know exactly what they intended by it. It’s mostly a straightforward peony scent with a hint of spice. I do love the pink pepper, though. I find it always enhances florals without making them overly sweet, and it adds a little bit of zing. There are no fruits listed, but there is a “juicy” quality to Just a Kiss. This is a good fragrance to carry as a midday refresher. I also like to use this as a layer over more robust fragrances, especially to tone down an overly citrusy product. You can tell from the shape of the bottle it’s an outlier of VS’s Bombshell line, and it has some at that same vibe. Youthful and flirtatious, pretty without being offensive or intrusive. It was a limited run for VS’s 2019 Valentine’s Day promotion, but they almost always have something in stock that’s close enough to this. I like to wear it because I already have it, but you’re not really missing anything if you don’t. It’s a nice fragrance; it’s just not particularly unique.

This is perfume is a revamping of the Victoria's Secret Crush perfume. The packaging is more efficient because it doesn't have the atomizer that Crush did, and it describes it as having "peonies, lip gloss, and peppercorn" instead of the having "peonies, Ashoka flower, and peppercorn". However, for me the smell is almost identical. The perfume is suitable to wear for any situation, although it gives off more daytime vibes. It is a very floral and fresh scent, with a hint of spiciness from the peppercorn which makes it an overall soft feminine scent. It is a youthful and intoxicating scent that emulates a rush of sweetness when you smell it. It is a perfume that stays close to the skin, meaning it isn't strong in the sense that it will leave a trail in a room, but it is very apparent to people who are within arm's distance to you. I actually prefer that the sillage is closer to the body because it plays to the intoxicating nature of the perfume.

For me this is just okay, a nice sweet feminine fragrance that is perfect for casual chores. It is a skin scent where only those really close to you can smell and enjoy it. I find the bottle cute though. This is also nice for those days when you don’t want to think about what perfume to wear. Just a kiss is cute, girly and feminine.

Got this gifted as roll on and ran to buy the full bottle because I loved it so much despite this being fruity (The number of fruity parfums I like and have beside this is zero. And that's ok) Staying power is meh but oh well...I don't really care for that either way.

my favorite scent at the moment. it is fruity with the notes of pink pepper. reminds me of spring/summertime!

A fresh, slightly aquatic, slightly fruity floral. A very easy grab for me as soon as we hit spring.

I think there's definitely a Victoria's Secret DNA to all of their perfumes, which isn't bad, just recognizable. This one is a pleasant crowd-pleasing fruity floral, but if you asked me to pick out specific notes, I couldn't. I don't think this would be worth the full price typically found of VS fragrances which run from about $60-80 depending on bottle size, but this one is now a clearance price of half off and I think it's worth that price. It's a "like" for me.

Oh, how I wanted to "love" this one. I got a rollerball at the semi-annual sale for about $5, which was a steal. It smells fine and I like the notes in it. Sadly there is just about no silage or longevity to it. I will keep it in my purse in case I need a quick pick-me-up, but I don't expect this one to turn any heads, as pleasant as it (barely) smells.

Confused as to what the lip gloss note is supposed to smell like but i really like this perfume !! unlike a lot of other vs edps. the pink pepper note really made this special.

i dont use it often but when i do, i feel really girly 💜 its for the pinkypie galsss

To me this was just a "perfumey" perfume scent. None of the notes really stood out at all. Definitely wouldn't describe it as fruity; this one came off as a very bland floral to my nose. It's not that it smelled bad by any means, just extremely unmemorable to me.

This doesnt smell like anything except the smell when you walk into victorias secret, exactly the way pink used to 15 yrs ago Maybe I'm biased but pink was a way better smell

tried to like this perfume, but had to return. gave me a headache easily. smelt plastic-y and synthetic, which doesn’t happen with any of my other VS fragrances. I tried to like it, but I think the mix of the pink pepper and the artificial lip gloss note just don’t go together. I will say first spray smelt okay when the peony came through. as the pink pepper slowly creeps out though, any potential of a good perfume is ruined. there’s a reason why it was only $35 at the semi-annual sale lol. 3/10

i usually enjoy VS fragrances. However, i really didn't enjoy this fragrance at all. I found it overpowering and nauseating with only 2 sprays. I really wanted to enjoy this but i just couldn't. I gave it to one of my work colleagues who absolutely loved it.

I smelled this frag from a friend and I cannot forget the scent! It smells divine and sophisticated. Buying the edp is not necessary, the mist will suffice. It lasts really long on me, it projects well, and the scent trail will sweep you off your feet! Victorias Secret frags are cheap so if you are looking for a signature scent, this is for you. The pink pepper and the peonies here are beautifully put together. Funny and weird thing is, a sheriff asked me to roll down my windows for speeding and when I did, she asked me “You smell so good, what are you wearing?”. I stuttered for a second and i just said its Victorias Secret Just a Kiss. I even showed her my bottle. She still gave me a ticket though.

IDEA: What if we all start stating where we live. For instance, someone who lives in a humid climate will have a different smell reaction to a perfume with someone from a dry climate. I know this because I lived in both. What smelled fantastic in one place was a disaster in the other... (Humid to dry). I believe this makes a huge difference to the outcome of the perfume, and might help us somewhat. Thoughts on this idea? Does it matter? Will it help? :) Happy sniffing! (I live in the dry high desert of New Mexico) And I have not smelled this yet. Tomorrow is the day, if it's at my VS store...

Found this on a VS clearance. The box actually lists notes: Pink Peonies, Ashoka Flower, & Pink Peppercorn. It might actually fit the fragrance name best if it had lipgloss as a fragrance note! This one is very nice. Not sure how to describe it, airy- perfumey, like an airy floral and sweet perfume, but not candy sweetness. Picked "just a kiss" & "love is heavenly" from their sale stuff. I like this one the best.

Fruity, light floral, young, cheap, burn the nostrils, but nice, fizzy, overall just ok smell. Exactly like VS Crush and Secret Crush.
