Lemon Iris

I received Lemon Iris a couple days ago. This fragrance does has a fleeting top note of lemon (and yes, it's clearly lemon), but it is mostly powder and wood. I can detect lemon within the first couple minutes, but that's it. The more I wear this, the less lemon I can smell. I actually far prefer it this way, rather than a flamboyantly lemon scent. If you are looking for lemon or a sporty citrus, you may want to pass on Lemon Iris. I have a soft spot for powdery smells. The powder in Lemon Iris isn't soapy or old-fashioned — it's more like fresh, cool powder (iris). Iris is the unmistakable dominant note in the whole fragrance. I blind-bought this based on these reviews. It was exactly what I expected and wanted. I am thinking about buying the fragrance lotion to enhance longevity, which seems to be on the weaker side of moderate. It is hard to gauge. But I can smell clear wafts of this many hours later.

This is discontinued but managed to get a bottle on Ebay. It's kind of like Prada d'iris little sister.. A very dominant Iris but with a very lemony opening drying down to a sweeter Iris than Prada. I like it alot and lasts about 4 hours. Worth buying if you can find a bottle at a good price 🍋🍋

Good smell, powdery and fresh. Like prada infusion d iris. This an all year round perfume. Performance is not bad.

Very good smell and long lasting

Lemon Iris smells surprisingly similar to the Prada Infusion d'Iris series. The iris is coming through in this, loud and clear, and to me, is the most prominent note. I can smell the lemon at the beginning only. I have found this lineup of citrusy scents to be very fresh and clean smelling, and this one might just be my favourite. Longevity was pretty good for me. I could smell it, although faintly, for at least 6 hours, which is not bad considering it's VS.

Powdery fresh scent summer time splash one longtivity and silage is good one me .

I'm honestly really upset that I wasted my money on this new fragrance.I also got the mandarine orange one from a bogo deal.The scents last maybe 60 seconds max.This is supposed to be an edp and it's not even as strong as a body mist,and they are asking for $52 for this.The best way I can describe how well you will be able to smell this fragrance is that it's like trying to smell perfume when you are sick with a stuffy nose.I ordered it online so I didn't get to test it in the store.

Low sillage, and lasts only a few hours. Oddly enough, on me this perfume smells like a variation of VS Beach Angel. Cool and fresh and astringent at first, then very quickly I get predominantly powdery salt rather than lemon. After a little while I can smell soapy, slightly bitter flowers if I put my nose right next to my skin, and the barest hint of lemon or bergamot now and then. No cedar or musk on me, which was a bit disappointing as I enjoy those notes. Overall, I don't hate this perfume and can see myself wearing it on breezy sunny days, but I was hoping for a more strongly citrus scent.

I guess I won't get this since everyone seems to be saying it's powdery like the Prada. I don't get it because the varieties of iris that I've sniffed in the garden smell like almost candy but not sweet candy scent. They're heavenly. with a resemblance to daffodil but better: iris. None of the irises I've sniffed ever smelled powdery. I think that's the orris they always seem to add with iris. Anyway. Still looking for a real iris perfume without the powder. There's a ton I still haven't tried.

I tested this along with the three others from that line in the store. I love lemon scents but this lemon fades within the first five minutes. The scent that remains is the iris I guess...but the overall fragrance disappeared off my skin about 15 minutes after spraying. The Lime Blossom (green bow) is the one that lasted the longest on my skin out of all four fragrances.
