Love Eau de Parfum

This is it y’all. I’ve found my signature scent. I want everyone to know I’ve been on a JOURNEY looking for the perfume that I’ll wear most every day, every occasion, that feels like “me.” I’ve tried everything from Pink Sugar to Delina Exclusif- none were right for me. This one was. This perfume is beautiful. It smells delicate, feminine, and fresh. Like a beautiful clean lady holding an armful of freshly washed white cotton sheets, left to dry on a clothesline on a warm and sunny day. It doesn’t screech at you or demand attention. It’s demure. It’s not explosive, it won’t fill a room, but your lover will smell you when he hugs you- he will like it. I’ve come to realize I don’t like “heavy” smells. I don’t want to smell like cake or creamy vanilla or a dessert table. I want to smell like a pretty and clean- like sunshine. I don’t need to smell like a seductress. This perfume isn’t the sexiest scent by any means, at least not at face value. It’s definitely not screaming “Look at me! I’m sexy! at you, because it’s sexy in a more subdued way. Sometimes it’s fun to be more casually sexy and this perfume does just that. I couldn’t be more excited to own a bottle.

Victoria's Secret has put out a new perfume nearly every month this year, but this is the only one that's really grabbed me, although it happened totally by accident! I was in the store asking a manager about a free panty coupon and noticed he smelled really really good. Enough that I felt the need to tell him and then felt totally awkward about it until he exclaimed "That's our newest fragrance!" and was able to give me the pitch on it, haha. Based on the bottle and ads, Love is definitely trying to evoke a more elegant, mature essence than some of VS's other perfumes, and I think the fragrance does a good job of that, at least with the top notes. The initial spray smells simple, fresh, and classy with just a bit of warmth, perfect for the Fall season. Unfortunately, as with most VS fragrances, the top note burns off quickly on me and what's left smells generic to me. Must be the boyfriend tee.

There's something about this scent that just clicks eith my skin chemistry. (I just ordered the EdP but this review is based on the body mist) On fabric this smells like fresh clothes - I believe they called on ingredient "boyfriend shirt", and that's exact! On paper I hate it, granny smell But on my skin. Oh my! It's beautiful. I don't know how to describe it, a soft calming scent that makes me feel cozy and clean all at once. I want to sleep in this every night. I can't stop smelling my skin it's so perfect. Staying power was phenomenal - and that for a body mist is exceptional! I am so looking forward to getting the EdP next week Edit: got the EdP and this might just be my forever scent. It's perfect. I have no words

I read the notes and the reviews when trying to pick between the available “Love” options. I chose this from the clean notes the “baby powder” and the overall longevity everyone raves about. Beautiful scent. Easily one of my fave Victoria Secret scents. So beautiful floral and fresh. Has a golden warm feel but I could see this still working in cold weather. It reminds me of “My glow” and “Glowing Godess” by JLo which I adore both...but these have their own spin being a JLo brand. This LOVE has a different route going more floral. JLo tends to be more soapy and linear with her notes. Staying power is amazing and even layers well with several bombshells.

Pretty easy go-to when you don't have time to think on what you're going to wear, and want something fresh and sophisticated. It's a step up from a body mist, and more complex than the notes suggest, but still a fresh-young scent. I initially get the apricot and the juniper. but the juniper isn't really strong or piney, it's very muted. it just adds a boyishness to it like someone mentioned below. and then that's wrapped with the florals. It reminds me of a crisp white Hanes shirt out of the package, and you have a blowout, and your hair is freshly washed with a new shampoo, and sprayed with hairspray. Daytime, office, running to Home Goods lol

I like the simplicity of this fragrance. VS has often made fragrances that were very heavy, probably to go along with the seductive boudoir aesthetic of their original lingerie lines. Sometimes, you just want to smell pretty without seducing every person within arm’s length, and that is what Love EDP gives you. This fragrance is very soft and light. It might be the cotton flower, but it gives me “fresh out of the shower” vibes. Although apricot is the predominant note, the juniper cools it down just enough to make a nice transition from Summer to Fall. My best friend (a guy, who doesn’t wear fragrance himself) absolutely loves this one!

Crazy to say it - however - this is one of my signature fragrances. I have worn this for about 7 years - shortly after it came out and continued on in my collection since. It's my FAVE Vs Beauty scent, and one of my overall faves in my large collection of scents. This is one of my most complimented as well. The soft, musky, almost earthy vibe is so beautiful on my skin. It's also very clean and fresh with a comforting appeal. I find this to be one of the best VS scents in longevity, 10+ hours on this. It's always been my "go-to work" scent, and it's been very inoffensive to others and is one I will always have memories attached to.

This really does smell like you’re wearing your boyfriend’s used T-shirt that he wore for a whole day so the generic men’s cologne he was wearing got mixed up with his sweat and fainted, then you sprayed a powdery fruity ultra-feminine perfume on to freshen it up. and I’m not complaining, I love it, the used man's T-shirt smell is apparently my thing, it adds warmth and intimacy, making it smell like a hug. the only sad thing about this perfume is the staying power, it's disappointing, I can barely smell it on myself after two hours, I really wish it lasted longer, it’s my current favorite summer perfume.

I am a fan of VS perfumes in general- I find them wearable even when they fall short of unique. Of all of the recent new releases, Love is by far my favorite. It smells nothing like any of their existing perfumes, and is not an exact reincarnation of any discontinued perfume, either. Love is a fresh and clean perfume with a bit of a cologne/soap kick from the juniper. It's not super masculine, and it's not extremely girly. It's just GOOD. It fits the void in the VS wardrobe that was created when Body by Victoria was discontinued (at least in my opinion). I highly recommend checking this beauty out!

It's a pretty glow cloud of apricot and cotton flower. This is perfect if you want to smell pretty, chill casual and relaxed. It's very difficult to not reach for it because it's SO good and you can wear it for ANY occasion. Please keep in mind this is not a powerhouse fragrance. The longevity is around 2-3 hours with a decent 3-4 sprays but it's so pretty that it doesn't bother to reapply. The scent is simply heavenly. I've smelled so many perfumes from weak to nauseating and it is so nice to come back to this one because it truly makes you appreciate the simplicity and how truly lovely it is :)

Love, love, love VS's Love. It is a very light, powdery, comforting fragrance with a prominent cotton note. In fact, the cotton would be better described as a brand-new cotton T-shirt. Picture yourself at the Gap, shopping for white cotton T-shirts and getting a whiff of that loveliness. I have always been intrigued by fresh laundry scents, and Love falls into this category. This perfume is the olfactory version of comfort food. The bottle is also very beautiful and has substantial weight.

This is 60% fruit (especially apricot) and 40% cotton flower. It's a very fresh, girly scent. This is different from VS, though (no fruity/floral here) and I love it. The mixture of apricot and cotton flower is pretty amazing! Totally recommend. Also, lasted on me about 7 hours so good lasting power. PS: Reminds me of the way HCO smelled at some point years ago so that's how you know it smells good lol

Love is beautiful clean scent. It opens with sweet creamy apricot, after a few minutes it dries down into fluffy, very creamy cotton with aromatic juniper and apricot in the background. Very clean scent that makes you feel cozy and sexy. I don't get any masculine vibe, to me it's definitely feminine scent. Lasting power is very good, about 12 hours on my skin.

I like VS fragrances because they are fun and usually fruity-fresh or beachy and sexy. But I like this one for not standing in that line. It is feminine, cozy, AND absolutely not boring - it is not very harsh or intense, but can be recognised and it is not similar to many others, good for a discrete signature scent. I bought a rollerball of this intending to give it to someone as a gift. After "sampling" a bit of it, I decided to keep it for myself. Lol! It's a nice aromatic, fresh, and fruity blend. Piney juniper, sweet apricot, and clean cotton. Very pleasant and easy to wear. I like it a lot!

LOVEEEE. So so so good. I love girly scents so this is right up my alley. It's your average fruity floral with a little something extra. I think it's the "boyfriend tee" note though I have no idea what that's supposed to smell like. Perfectly pleasant and inoffensive.

This is one of my absolute favorite around the house / at home, out of the shower, bedtime scents. Soft, fresh clean but still feminine. I feel like this is BEAUTIFUL any time of year, season, or day. I love Love and hope to always have a bottle in my collection.

I seriously love this stuff. I find myself reaching for it on a productive weekend at home when I want to feel happy and put together. It smells clean and very feminine. It lasts all day on me.

This is absolutely a beautiful scent! To me this is a feminine, soft, cashmere sweater-y, snuggly, nuzzly, cuddly scent. Lovely! (And that is the solid fragrance too) I need to get an edp!!!!

One of my favorite scents, ever. Would easily become my signature if it lasted longer. It's completely gone within an hour, but what a glorious hour it is while it's here.

Sweet, powdery, feminine. Love it so much! Personally I would wear it in the winter. Very underrated!

Yes, powdery is a very good way to describe this fragrance! I blind bought it because I am a VS fragrance fan, and I really liked the bottle design for this one. I thought that even if I don't like the scent, I can still use it as some sort of decoration on my desk since I got it on bargain. It came as a pleasant surprise though! When I read powdery, I expected it to be more of a baby-powder-ish sort of powdery, but it is more to some...sweet, mellow-sort of powdery, I really like it! (btw as expected, you should always expect sweetness in VS fragrances) It reminds me of Spring, April and laundry. I really like it! That said, Angel Gold remains my top favourite out of all VS fragrances, just so you can get an idea of my preferences. P.S. I prefer spraying it on my clothes instead of directly on my wrists because it smells better (for me) and lasts longer on my clothes. I haven't tried the longevity yet since it just came in the mail, but I will update again after a few wears <3 P.S.S I agree with the person below who said that it smells like a men's cologne got mixed up with his sweat then you sprayed a feminine perfume on it to freshen up. That's the exact impression I got as well.

This smells like you are carrying around a load of fresh laundry in your arms. I bought a rollerball of the perfume and a small matching body spray to travel with this summer. I think it will keep me smelling fresh and the (illusion!) of feeling clean on all of the icky sweaty hot un-air conditioned trains I’ll be riding! It definitely has a bit of a soapy or detergent scent that could bother people with allergies or sensitivities to strong, fresh scents~ it’s the nature of the cotton flower which can be overwhelming if over applied. If you like Demeters Laundromat, Donna Karan Chashmere Mist Deodorant, Philosophy’s Ballet Rose, Clean’s Cotton T-Shirt, or Bath and Body Work’s sea Island Cotton, you will probably appreciate this. I know milky/creamy aren’t listed in the notes or description, but this has a very light creamy feel to my nose. It doesn’t develop much past the initial whiff, but the drydown does have the cotton-juniper smell more intensely. Overall it’s a creamy peach + clean cotton + smooth juniper blend of deliciousness. It’s mild but very feminine. Didn’t get the men's cologne vibe, although I wouldn’t have minded! I find the fragrance very relaxing. It makes you feel cozy and sexy at the same time. A good “snuggle me” scent! I love it. Downside, I just wish it lasted longer on me! Scent: 8/10 Sillage: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10

this review is about the fragrance mist: i'm not gonna lie, i bought it mainly because of the super cute bottle. i love sweet and gourmand scents, however this one surprised me in a good way! i'm not a huge fan of the first spray and first few minutes but the dry down is absolutely beautiful ♡ it smells comfortable, clean and just nice in general. after an hour, it sits very close to the skin so it doesn't project much, but that's because it's a mist after all. a soft feminine fragrance, i'd say it's a safe blind buy if you wanna smell good effortlessly! 💫

This perfume is beautiful! I have been waiting for it to be realeased in stores, and today I purchased the 1.7 oz perfume, lotion, body cream, and shower gel. I love them all. This fragrance lasts all day on me alone, and it's even nicer when layered with the other products. It's easy to wear and not overpowering but can still be noticed. To me, this is an ideal signature scent. I love the cotton note even though I didn't think I would because it's cozy. Definitely try this one! It's so pretty.

I really like this! I love victoria's secret fragrances because they dont give me headaches so I can actually wear some of these fresher/clean smelling scents. This opens with a blast of sweet apricot, which I love! Then it dries down quickly into a creamy cotton scent just like clean laundry and its actually quite cozy! I really like this! Its quite different from their typical fruity scents and its quite different to what I have in my collection, so Im happy that I purchased this!

My fiancé gave me this perfume as a Christmas present a few years ago and I instantly fell in love with it. Love Eau de Parfum is a pretty, fresh, and sparkly fragrance. It smells like crisp pears and sparkling wine. It always reminds me of wintertime, probably because that is when I got it. What I love the most is that it is feminine in a soft, warm, and inviting way, the way a smile is soft, warm, and inviting. Filled with promises and possibilities.

Sometimes, when I'm in a hurry or just for fun, or if we are going out for the night, I ask my husband to pick out a fragrance for me to wear that he likes. He's not a perfume person, but he thinks it's a fun hobby of mine - he can't pick out notes, just sort of goes in blind and sniffs my collection. 8/10 times he will pick this. Unsure what it is - maybe juniper? - but he adores this. It's an easy grab, never fussy, goes with different occasions.

This is a pretty simple and casual perfume, that's light, clean, a bit powdery, and very feminine. I prefer this to First Love, and I think the longevity and sillage is better with this perfume, as well. It's a really nice, safe buy perfume that I don't think would turn anyone off. It reminds me of doing laundry on a Sunday, or slipping on a cotton tee shirt that's been soaking in the sun on a clothesline. It's fresh, airy, and cozy.

This is my new favorite wardrobe scent. Usually I'm one to run in the other direction of clean, laundry scents but I had to try this due to its attractive bottle. It's such a fresh and invigorating scent. I find this is a good layering scent. The "t-shirt" note gives other perfumes an instant lived in touch that I just love. The words cozy and intimate sum up this perfume beautifully.

I really liked the juniper in the opening of this. It came across as a bit unisex, but in a cute, demure kind of way. However the juniper soon disappeared and this became a sweet (not too sweet), powdery floral. More feminine in the drydown, and very basic, nothing exciting. However I still think it's a nice, pretty, wearable fragrance.

this is a beautiful girly scent! It was my signature scent when I was 17. It's a soft, clean, powdery, ultra-feminine scent. Its longevity is moderate and the sillage is moderate also but it's a bit pricy for the sillage & longevity so it's better to get a bottle when it's on discount

An extremely clean, yet cozy scent! Definitely brings freshly washed laundry to mind; the cotton note is THE standout note here. At first spray I wasn't crazy about it, but it grew on me really quickly. A great scent for a relaxed day.

This was my signature fragrance during my senior year of high school, so every time I smell it, it brings back memories! It's so cozy and comforting, like you’re having a chill day at home. It’s also perfect for everyday wear :)

This perfume is so nostalgic to me. Victoria secret markets this as fruity but it is so incredibly floral & powdery in the best way possible. Unfortunately it does not last as long as a lot of perfumes at least for me :/

it smells okay but not very memorable. I had the rollerball scent a while ago but it mostly smells like warm ,vanilla, and floral. it doesn't stand out as much in comparison to other VS fragrances

Clean, t-shirt type fragrance that gets lots of compliments. It's really casual but pleasant and good to wear anytime, any season. Quite cosy, a little bit boyish, a little bit feminine.

It's a soft, tender, kind perfume. I just want to give myself a hug when I wear it. Kind of smell pear and some green notes (even though no pear mentioned..maybe its the apricot)

Soapy, clean scent. Nice, but I would not call it extraordinary. Very soft stillage.

90% Smells like the Fresh and Cozy body lotion/mist

I bought the travel spray recently during a sale because I needed a certain amount for a coupon to apply. 😅 I did NOT expect to like this. Juniper berries? Not my usual go-to. Boyfriend tee? What does this even mean?? But I liked the look of the bottle and it was inexpensive so I put it in the cart. Out of the 13 fragrances I bought, this is my favorite of the bunch. It's mild and inoffensive. A good daytime or office fragrance but will also work well for cuddles or alone time. It's not groundbreaking but it isn't awfully boring. It's very CLEAN GIRL / CLEAN AESTHETIC. Who would think I'd like this scent category? I've tried so many fragrances marketed as clean and did not enjoy a single one. But this is demure, cozy, pretty, clean, and easy to wear. As soon as I sprayed it today, I knew it would be my go-to for an after shower relaxing experience - and that's exactly what I did today. Better for Spring/Summer Daytime but can be worn year-round.

I sprayed this today, and I had to go wash it off. I've had it for about a year and it doesn't smell any different than it always did, but I just found it offensive today for some reason. I think it might be the cotton flower note that I'm not liking. I really don't smell any apricot at all. On me this is just all laundry cotton freshness to the max. I tend to not like laundry clean type scents as a perfume, so that is probably why I'm struggling with this today. It does have really good projection and longevity of course. How do I know this? Because while I was able to wash it off my wrists earlier, I'd also sprayed it on my chest and didn't want to go take a full on shower to get it off. So yeah, this wears way better than most of Victoria Secret's offerings.

LMAO @died of a cocaine overdose. Ha! Love it. But I smelled this today and it strikes me as EXCEPTIONALLY a one-note scent. That kind of simple, generic floral that I couldn't quite place (apricot blossom I guess? I'd never heard of that and I don't think I had smelled it either). I am no perfume snob. I eagerly await even every VS release. I own many of them! But this is quite uninspired even for me. Guess they exhausted their creativity with the ad copy and then worked backwards lol. I wish they would put out something more traditionally "fall", at least attempts at that are usually richer and warmer and have a higher chance of being interesting.
