Love is Heavenly (2016)

Victoria’s Secret, please please PLEASE bring this back. Good gracious, this is gorgeous. Is it basic? Probably, yes. Is it boring? Maybe. But honestly, it is so beautiful that I just don’t care. I don’t know what it is—whether it’s the fruits, the florals, the woods, or the combination of it all—but something about this perfume gets me more compliments than any other in my collection. For this reason, it used to be my daytime signature, but since it was discontinued I’ve begun to ration it. As far as notes go, I can really only decipher the kiwi and peony, and in the base, the woods. The result is something so bright and sparkling and juicy that it always brings a smile to my face. And, like I said before, for some reason everyone else loves it too, even above some of my designer fragrances. If you can manage to find this and you want something fresh and easy for daily wear, pick it up.

I adore this perfume. I bought it on a whim during a Victoria Secret summer sale. When it arrived, I sniffed it, sprayed it on, and ordered another 3 bottles immediately so I won't run out for a long time. It warms so beautifully on my skin. It's a spring day with a warm breeze, flowers swaying slightly in the breeze. It's happy, sweet, romantic, and soft. And it lasts for hours on me! At the end of my workday when I move I can still get a nice whiff of it. I don't' go nose blind like with some of my other fragrances. I don't know why some people are saying this smells like Bombshell? It smells totally different from bombshell to me. Bombshell is floral and sharp, while this perfume is sweet and soft. The bottle is rather plain but honestly, that's ok, simplicity isn't always a bad thing. 10/10!

A bright, floral fruity musk. I love how the freesia and blackberry melt into the woodier/musky base. It lasts all day. I had a perfume from Victoria’s Secret EXACTLY like this one - in the early 2000s. I remember wearing it my later college years, 2003-2004. I don’t think it was Bombshell, because I see that came out in 2010. I saw this at the semi-annual sale and had such a strong scent memory from it that I had to pick it up.

Gorgeous!!! One of my favorite VS scents, unfortunately now only available sometimes at the semi annual sale. Musky, floral, solar and bright, this is a very “happy” scent. It reminds of a June bride. Although I do get whiffs of a slightly masculine woody note, the florals are warm enough to keep it from being unisex. I normally don’t like citrus but the orange is tolerable in this.

This perfume is such a compliment giver for me. My first perfume and my dearest one. Every time I spray it both men & women ask what my fragrance is. It's so sad that it is now hard to find. It's not available in every store and once in a while they reproduce it and sell it :/ but if you have a chance to try it please give it a try. It is safe for blind buy.

I am in love with this baby she has truly become my baby. I can smell the orange note but it's blended with the other notes. this one isn't too sweet it is well balanced and fresh and foresty and fruity all at once.

Smells like a shampoo. Floral and fresh. The downside is that the longevity is weak. So that's why I am hesitating to buy this again. Otherwise, it's such a pretty fragrance.

Smelled it in store last week.It is identical to the original Love Is Heavenly. A beautiful fruity, woody musk. I have received compliments on this one!!

It smells like a fresh shampoo. Spray it on and you feel like you just stepped out of a shower on a warm, June day ready to go on a road trip.

A nice fresh scent for warm weather, not too citrusy.

I have a bottle and it's my first Victoria's Secret. The bottle is fancy with the ribbon. It looks sexy but not cheap. Love Is Heavenly is a fresh fruity-floral-woody fragrance. The beginning is darker than the heart. The heart is light pastel pink in my perception. I can detect musk, mandarin blossom, kiwi, blackberry the most and the most striking among flowers is water lily, I can detect all other flowers though. The fragrance reminds me a bit of YSL Baby Doll eau legere, but it's totally different. It's similar in shade and spiciness because there's something in this Victoria that reminds me of pink pepper. The fragrance is sweeter from the beginning than in the heart or base which is sour and sweet. "Love..." isn't oversweetened, this isn't a kind of sugar perfume. The wooden notes are from the beginning till the end, easy to spot. The sillage is above average; I leave a delicate trace behind me. This fragrance isn't from the highest shelf like Chanel, but it IS from the high shelf though. This VS will be suitable for these who like fresh pastel fragrances with a spicy note. Fresh ones, but with oriental/exotic touch. This model in the ad isn't f. ex. a Scandinavian type for purpose :) No age limits, the best for spring, summer and fall.

My unopened bottle comes from 2020, 1.7 oz with chrome neck and no ribbon. The top notes are beautiful, light, and fruity. They faded after 10 minutes. At first, it had that typical fresh-fruity-floral vibe with the familiar peony and freesia VS DNA. Then, the fruit and sweet florals grew quiet. It morphed on my skin, becoming more freesia and water lily. After 20 min, the wood notes and musk came out and dominated on my skin. I am pleasantly surprised that this became a woody-floral on me. I didn't like the woody bite at first because it read almost metallic, but it has grown on me. I do get a faint apple-like note. This is so different from the typical sweet and bright perfumes VS makes. It's sophisticated yet light.

Oh goodness, this perfume. It's a strong "like", but not much more. The lasting power is so soft, it is barely there! If you like soft scents that barely whisper off your skin, this is for you. It reminds me of something one would wear at a wedding. I got it at the semi-annual sale for $15, which was a steal. I will use the bottle, but I will not repurchase. I guess Bombshell will remain my signature scent.

This was my go-to date scent when I was in my early 20's. It's fresh, fruity, and floral. What I liked about it is that it was strong and lasted a long time. My mom, who is very sensitive to strong fragrance, told me that this was the only scent I have ever worn that really bothered her and gave her a headache. I would recommend this for spring and summer since it is very fresh and clean smelling.

Cute but somewhat boring fruity floral. Nothing special here but would be a nice gift or blind buy for just about anyone. Sillage and longevity are somewhat poor but it’s refreshing and is soft and pretty. This can be bought at the semi annual sale for around $40 for a large spray.

Leans clean, airy. A smidgen dry, leans clean laundry mode. Yeah, an airy clean non descript floral, with very delicate woods, could have citrus I not quite sure.. These tend to be better on my fabric, than skin. You're not going to offend anyone

This is one of my favorite VS fragrances! I'm so glad they brought this back! It's a sweet floral fragrance, very delicate and feminine. It also has great lasting power, and in my opinion can be worn day or night anytime of the year.

I got Love is Heavenly as a gift and was happy with the cute bottle. I got lots of compliments wearing it, but it's not really my cup of tea. It's a nice scent, but is also a girly, generic floral musk designed for younger customers.

I had this for my wedding dowry. at first, I don't really enjoy it but my husband loves the smells on me. Hence bought it. but over time, I started to love this. too bad it is discontinued in Singapore :(

This perfume smells amazing, very pure and very floral. Not fruity at all, in fact I would describe the scent as very airy. Good fragrance for professional occasions or business meetings.

I really enjoy this one! It’s a pretty basic floral, but it’s surprisingly musky and woodsy, and I love the citrus notes. Very fresh and gorgeous, a good scent for everyday wear.

i had this before years . Me & my mom used it sometimes . It’s a little bit boring but i got alot of compliments and my mom Too.

It opened very bland and alcoholic and set into a fruity shampoo, which smells exactly like the whiffs you get after washing your hair. It smells like synthetic fruits, kinda apple-y. A typical Victoria Secret scent. Very similar to bomb shell, except a little musky. I always found VS perfumes too synthetic and cheap smelling, but still couldn’t resist the sale...Well at least it mixes well with some heavy gourmand scents I own. It dilutes them a little to make them wearable.

I'm so glad to hear that they didn't tamper with Love is Heavenly. I came here to check to see what people are saying about the scent. I guess I'm mostly glad about hearing the longevity is good. That's a good sign for VS! Maybe they are listening to the consumers about quality! I had the older-style bottle in the winter, and now that's it's summer, I wish I had kept it. I feel that this scent was specifically made to be worn in summer temperatures. It reminded me of Bombshell - it had that woody/cologne freshness - but it also had some sweeter, fruitier notes. The longevity for me was not good but that was in the cold months, and I only sprayed it twice before re-selling it. It seems that this fragrance is very well-liked by all age groups.

Sigh VS does it again. Yes, its a pleasant fresh floral that has musk dry down. Once again its very similar to several others they have and I find it very unmemorable. Lasting power is poor like most of VS scents. All in all, nothing new to see here. Honestly I would LOVE to give VS perfume a stellar rating, because I been shopping there forever and I like several of their fragrances. I just wish they would make those at least a bit unique and not so generic every time

Smelled it in-store, took a double take. Sprayed it on my hand and was pleasantly surprised. It’s not what you’d expect judging solely by the dainty packaging. It’s extremely woodsy and citrusy, an androgynous spell. The woody base notes in particular are exquisite. It has layers and hues. It’s orange-y and juicy but it’s also mysterious. The musk is soapy and clean. It’s like an elevated version of Britney Spears Fantasy.

I got this in the semi annual sale for $25 and Im glad I didnt pay more for this one. Its very nice and clean and the drydown has a very faint heavenly whisper to it. Its nice! But the lasting power is sooooo bad. Itll last better on your clothing or hair but on skin its like 2 or 3 hours max. I cant believe vs can charge full price for this, its barely stronger than a body spray, if at all.

This is ok. If you want to smell nice but not really get noticed this is great. No statement or uniqueness here. A boring run of the mill fresh floral. Sillage and longevity are ok at about 6 hours. Its just nice, nothing more, so not a rebuy for me.

Fresh, fruity, woodsy, minimalistic. Just the kind of frag I’m looking for these days. Reminds me of something by Philosophy. My only regret is that I didn’t notice how lovely it was until AFTER it was discontinued.

I actually really like the clean scent of this it’s very pretty and young but unfortunately this does not last on me at all which is a shame coz I actually don’t mind it at all

maybe not groundbreaking but the notes sound lovely it's a fruity floral with a very Woody base nice combination and lovely bottle too.

I feel it near to ( secret charm ) , look like shampoo, u feel like u just take shower in the summer. Not bad, but not special.
