Love Spell Fragrance Mist

So I thought this was a blueberry scent. To me, I don't get peach at all, but a lovely, youthful, shampoo-y blueberry. It reminds me so much of Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, even though that is technically a blackberry scent. I guess most fruits smell like blueberry to me or something? I love them both in equal measure, and the fact both Love Spell and Midnight Fantasy are affordable makes me very happy too. I can afford to splurge on perfumes every now and then, but I love nothing more than a budget friendly buy! Non-citrus fruity shampoo scents are my absolute favourite. They make you smell oh so delicious and super clean. I'm not a perfume snob anymore--I was, back in the day. I liked my scents niche and unique. But now I am obsessed with "dopamine dressing," or "wearing clothes that boost your mood." Instead of clothes, I like to wear scents that boost my mood, and this scent does exactly that. No, Love Spell is not reinventing the wheel, but perfumes don't have to in my opinion. Just make me smell yummy and lift my vibes and we are good. By the way, the name Love Spell is right: men loose their mind over this scent. I'm one of those people who believe in the art of seduction, and scent plays a big part in casting a spell, so if you want a man positively drooling over how good you spell, Love Spell is the answer. Women don't like it so much though, so I'd go for other options if you are a girlie who is on the hunt for a wifey. (The biggest lady killer is the more pricey frag Molecule One, but that is a review for another day.)

Why all the hate towards Love Spell? Let me tell you, this fragrance holds a special place in my heart as my first "big girl" perfume. It exudes a nostalgic charm that's hard to resist. Downtown in a throng of people one Halloween in the early/mid 2000s a guy grabbed me by the shoulders, throttled me slightly, made terrifying eye contact like he was about to deliver his last words before a poisoning death, and gasped "Love spell!" I guess he recognized the fragrance. Can't blame him, I always have and always will absolutely love Love Spell. I don't care if people think it's a "teen fragrance". What does that even mean, scents don't come with age resctictions. I will continue to have it in my fragrance rotation until I die (if VS keeps making it) recently they have discontinued the perfume versions of all their "fantasies" (formeraly secret garden) and now they are available only as body mists. Which annoys the holy heck out of me. These are some of the only scents I've come across that don't smell like generic "perfume" For me I can totally pick out the fruity tones in this. I see why some people think it's too sharp because there is a definite acidic smell in there. But I like it. It's not so acidic as to be barf-like.

This was my favorite and go to perfume all through out high school and I still love it to this day. It is for sure one of the OG scents and staples back then and still is to me honestly. Every time I wore it with its matching lotions I would get compliments all the time about how good I smell which is always a great compliment to get. It matched really well with my body chemistry as well as pheromones in general. I'm in college now and I can say that I did outgrow it however. Not because I got tired of it but I've been wanting something new. If you're not a flowery and fruity scented type of gal this may not exactly be your cup of tea, but if you are this is for sure a must try and safe blind buy.

Though I never used this one, one of my childhood friends used to wear this all day, everyday. Personally it wouldn't fit for me if I'd try it but on her it smelled so good and though I think most of teenagers at that time used this, it just smelled different on her because when I asked her what she was using she showed me this and I just got too curious and went to test it. When I tried it, it didn't smell that good like I imagined nor on anybody else. Anyways all I can say is this fragrance is ok, but if the right person uses it it's a thousand times better. Years passed and I lost contact with her but her smell still haven't gotten out of my mind.

VS is having this absurdly generous sale that I *thought* was buy 2 fragrance mists/lotions-get-1-free, but is actually buy-2-get-*3*-free, so I finally stocked up on Love Spell after lusting over the sugary simplicity of its notes for a while now. Its reputation as a man killer seems quite apt, being that my boyfriend said "You smell *good*" the moment he caught my scent trail from across the room. It's a silly-sweet little delight: a syrupy burst of gummy peach candy over a gentle wash of cherry blossom—nothing more, nothing less—and sometimes that's all a girl needs.

I love this purely for nostalgic reasons - it’s the scent my mom used to wear back in the day that I stole and was the scent of my mid-teens. I don’t wear this anymore, but keep it as a car and room spray for nostalgia. I love my car smelling like Love Spell and the scent is addicting. It’s just a bit juvenile for me to wear anymore.

It either reminds me exactly of summer or exactly of winter. The best way I can describe it is like gummy candy. Sweet but not a vanilla sweet, and not quite sweet pea floral, like a juicy crisp apple scent. I like this just for a quick spritz and go.

i have an old bottle of this from 2015 and i’m hit with a wave of nostalgia every time i spray it! used to be my go to back then. still a lovely fragrance, smells amazing, but no lasting power as it’s a body mist lol💜 4 out of 5 stars🌟

Synthetic peach. Love it to the core. Smells like Japanese peach skincare or sweets products . And it's among the top 3 fragrances that got me the most compliments.

On me this smells like a mixture of peach and black currant leafs. A very powerful scent to be only a bodymist. Or maybe I am overdozing? I really like it <3

I don't know a high school girl who doesn't like this. Is it mature? Absolutely not. But does it smell exciting? Yes.

I got a new version of this from the official VS store on Amazon. I really actually enjoy it. Maybe they improved the formula. I smell peachy cherry honeyed Sweet Tarts candy, and it is quite nice. Maybe fruit punch. I went to a Japanese shop with a friend in 2010ish and got a car air freshener spray that was a dupe of Love Spell. This brings back nice memories. I plan to try layering it with something similar but classier, like Dylan Purple.

I first discovered this when I was like 10 in my moms collection and I’ve been hooked ever since. This is a sweet, kind of deep and a very pretty feminine scent. I can’t really describe what it smells like but it’s just smells amazing. If you’re looking for a super cheap dupe, bodycology’s dark cherry orchid smells exactly the same. And it only costs $3.98 at your local Walmart lol.

This was the first fragrance I bought with my own money. I must have been around 11 or 12. I chased the boy I liked around the track at our middle school, trying to spray him with it and managed to get him right in the eyes. He didn’t like me very much after that. Really pretty fragrance, though. Very fruity and clean smelling. It vaguely reminds me of Hawaiian Punch.

by itself in my opinion is very boring and just smells like preteens getting their first fragrance. But layering it with other fragrances just absolutly cosumes. Like take a boring basic fragrance and mix it with love spell, it just gives it this angelic aura, cant count how many compliments ive gotten while wearing this as well as another bodymist.

ahh this was my first body mist that i got in seventh grade. i remember overspraying and a "mean girl" telling me i smelled good :D though i don't remember it being powdery AT ALL... nowadays if anything says "cherry blossom" on it i just steer clear from it, but i must smell this in the store just to take a stroll down the memory lane. <3

This was my "signature scent" in middle school. I thought it smelled sooo good, thank goodness my tastes changed. Definitely a young fragrance. Of what I recall it was very floral with just a touch of fruit. I suppose the cherry blossom is the main note here. Honestly I wouldn't recommend it to anyone now, but to each their own.

This is one of those scents (this and shalimar l’essence, funnily enough) that causes me to salivate involuntarily. It just smells absolutely delicious. Perhaps I bought into this at an embarrassingly late age, but I still adore it. For when I want to feel beautiful in a very simplistic way.

I don't understand the hate for this. It's a great little pick-me-up scent which I like to wear around the house. Or after a bath or shower when I plan to do nothing at all. It's sweet and tart at the same time and combined with the lotion, it lasts for hours on my skin.

I have it 3 rd day and me and my friends really love it. At first smell it smells like if you would come from a fresh fruit shower. 1 note is apricot and than light fresh blossom.notes. For that ammount and price a good deal

literally the only peach scent i don't hate, smells like biting into a freshhhh peach instead of like overbaked peach cobbler like a lot of peach notes tend towards. reminds me of my older cousin's cool friends

This one is probably the most requested mist fragrance from our school during High School lol after Vanilla Lace. This is a very pleasant fruity scent. Peachy and sweet. It brings alot of memories.

I like this scent and almost finished it up :). However I wouldn’t use this to go out since it barely lasts, I have grown accostumed to only wear this in the gym or to just freshen up a bit

Definitely the best VS scent. Nostalgic, loved and known. Only downside is the short span, with it lasting around 10 minutes if oversprayed.

A very pretty, girly scent. I liked it but never used it much, so I passed it on.

When I was in my preteens-teenage years, this fragrance was *IT*. Except...well, not for me. See, the thing is (and I'm sure kids in every generation said/say stupid/hurtful things), Love Spell was only for the hot blondes. Period. You could say (if you're familiar with Game of Thrones) it was an "It is known." concept. I'm unsure where this began, but it was a prevailing (and again, totally idiotic) concept. The blondes got the privilege to wear this, but the rest of us meager brunettes or otherwise were told to resort to other fragrances (I stuck to the humble B&BW Cucumber Melon and Black Raspberry Vanilla). What really killed me at the time was going into VS and merely sniffing this, but getting told by a boy I was with (and liked) that I "couldn't pull it off". 😥 Naturally, like any introverted girl with self-esteem problems, I avoided it from then on, even deluding myself into thinking - 'It smells bad anyway'. Well, I purchased this to finally get some closure and actually process it. And...in all un-biased, objective, detached honesty, it's ok. Nothing spectacular, but it's shampoo-y and nice. It smells like a good-natured girl (ironic, given that 100% of people I knew to wear this were horrible), but without much personality. It has a vague floral tone after opening with a fresh, but synthetic fruity accord. Nothing is actually very distinct at all. It's fresh, but uninspiring compared with other fruity florals that I already own or am familiar with. DKNY Be Delicious, VS Pure Seduction, B&BW Amber Blush, Body Fantasies Jasmine & Lily, Liz Claiborne Curve...I could go on and on, but I'd take any of these instead. It claims to have some woods, and if you focus on them they emerge, but they're minimal. Overall, it's nice to have experienced it, but I'm putting my bottle in a local "little free library" on the side of the road. May it find a more loving home, because I won't ever use it 😆 And this time, by my own volition sans peer-pressure.

I bought this as a blind buy some time ago & when I first tried it I really hated it, it smelt so artificial and plasticky. However, I wanted to give it another chance and after a while, I actually started to like it more. That plasticky scent became a bit more bearable as I started to get more of that peach note, which is the most prominent. It is a fresh and fruity scent. Definitely not my favorite, but since I wanna use it up, I keep it for hot summer days when I just want a quick pick-me-up (tbh I occasionally spray it in my room as well). The longevity leaves a lot to be desired even for a body spray. Overall, this is okay but I won't be repurchasing it.

My boyfriend really likes this one because I wore the lotion when we were first going out. It brings back good nostalgia for him, but as for me this is incredibly soapy lol. The only reason I had it in the first place was because it was on clearance and very cheap. It's just way too sweet, cheap smelling, and too juvenile. If you want a throwback this is good, but for a day to day scent I would skip.

Such an interesting scent. I remember first smelling it and thinking its quite medicinal. Is it just me? Maybe I took some synthetic peach flavored medicine when I was young, and that's why I feel like it. It doesn't last at all tho so...

One spray and it's straight back to your middle school locker room. Smells like the amalgamation of every synthetic, fruity body spray that we used to cover up after PE in those days. Nostalgic, but I wouldn't wear it again.

Y'all can't just combine peach with a floral and be like "oh surprisingly mature." You know who wins the floral peach complex body mist contest? BBW Diamond of the Season. Love Spell should live in our memories only.

This was a staple that every girl would spray after gym class. Also smells like the Fruitopia drink, Strawberry Passion Awareness. Nostalgic, happy fragrance.

Sharp, fizzy grape soda. Most people I know like either pure seduction or love spell more, and I'm firmly in the pure seduction camp 😅

Not a huge fan of this one. Smells like an air refreshner. I only use it on really hot days, since it's very fresh and cool.

I mean no harm to anyone who enjoys this thoroughly, and I would not complain if someone was wearing this strongly in close proximity, however I am not a fan. If the word "syrupy" had a smell, it would be Love Spell. I am not one to turn my nose up at cheaper fragrances, but this one just misses the mark for me. I smell fruit, but it's not blaring "peach". I smell floral, but it doesn't scream "peony". It all just kind of runs together into a sweet blob. To my nose, anyway. I will say that the fragrance is unmistakable. You know exactly what it is when you smell it and I think it's probably a crowd splitter. I say try it to see what side of the fence you stand on.

THE premier fragrance of the junior high girls' locker room. Although I didn't own it myself, I remember begging a few spritzes from whoever was fortunate enough to have a bottle (VS wasn't in Canada at the time, so it wasn't easily obtainable). I walked by Victoria's Secret the other day and had the urge to stop in and indulge in a bit of nostalgia for my pubescent years. Love Spell is extremely acidic and screechy, a blend of synthetic approximation of peach and those teeth-cracking powdery "banana" candies that come from 25-cent vending machines. No idea why we loved it so much.

I bought this because I thought it would be a good refreshing, fruity scent to keep at work or in my car for a freshen up during the day. I looked up VS fragrance mists on Youtube and this was the one that everyone said smelled amazing. Turns out, it just smells like I spilled tropical juice on myself. Especially in the summer time, it just smelled... sticky? Not nice and refreshing, but like I'd spilled something fruity and sugary on myself. The lasting power was pretty decent for a body spray, especially on clothes. That would have been great if I liked the scent of it haha!

Eu costumava amar esse bodysplash, mas ele me fez entender pq dizem que você passa a odiar suas fragrâncias da VS antes de terminá-las. Usei o final na força do ódio, mas passei a sentir um cheiro de mamão (fantasma) enjoado no final (e não suporto mamão), então o bodysplash (e hidratante) que antes achava um frutado docinho gostoso hoje acho que tem cheiro de mamão e pêssego estragado, peguei ranço e não suporto mais hahah Acho que existem opções de bodysplashes melhores na VS.

This was my signature scent in my 20's. The sad thing about it is that I HATED this smell. BUT, this stuff was "Man-bait". I don't know what it was about this perfume. But, anytime I wore it out, I couldn't dodge the men fast enough. And in my 20's, that's what I wanted, a man (and attention from men). So, I wore it all the time. Shallow reason to wear a scent I know, but I was young.
