Love Spell Shimmer

So yeah this definitely reminds me of being 12-13 because I specifically remember my same aged cousin gifting me Romantic Wish at this time, and she had the mini collection of VS body mists, which I later received my own. This & Pure Seduction always stood out to me as my favorites, along with Amber Romance. I figured out one day, when I was 17-18, that this (or Pure Seduction) smells really good if you mix it with Kenzo L'eau par Kenzo pour femme (which I know is likely not a very familiar fragrance for most people, but they sold it in Sephora back in 2011-2012, which is when I fell in love with it.) Kenzo L'eau par Kenzo is a very aquatic, fresh smelling perfume - borderline unisex, but has some feminine notes to it. Think along the lines of Davidoff Cool Water, but it doesn't smell like that, just has the same aquatic fresh fragrance profile. My aunt who passed away in 2009 always smelled so good; she was a nurse, so never really had spicy or super strong fragrances on. But she always smelled so clean. But not laundry detergent clean. I have no idea to this day if it was her perfume or lotion, or what. But she & her house always smelled lovely. When I mix Love Spell + Kenzo, it smells *almost* like my aunt; reminds me of her, anyway. So, long story short, if you like clean aquatic fragrances, and fruity florals like this one, try mixing Love Spell with an aquatic. It elevates this, in my opinion. I also think this could be worn year round. Definitely does have a fruit punch kinda scent, so obviously suitable for summertime, but I guess it reminds me of winter a bit since I used to wear it during colder months when I was younger. An easy no-brainer, spritz on before you leave kinda scent if you just want to smell good. :)☆

As a boy, I’ve always been liking floral, fruity and fresh scents. I was thinking between classic love spell and shimmer, because the classic one has a richer pyramid and this one has shimmer😍. Anyway, I’d describe this mist as strong fruity at first (fresh cherry/peach/plum juice scent) but then it turns into a slight floral sillage with musky/cashmere notes as it lingers on my body. Absolute bomb of a body mist, and I was thinking if there’s a perfume in this exact scent?

As a peach lover, it smells more like raspberry and freshly washed clothes than peach and cherry blossoms. Which is still a very pleasant smell for me, it's also longer lasting than other body sprays from victorias secret. Update: I have gotten sick of it. It smells overly sweet and fresh at the same time now. Friendship ended with Love Spell, Coconut Passion is my best friend.

I tried to like it, but each time I spray it the peach and cherry blossom notes combined smell artificial in this one. The bottle looks nice though and obviously you get the glitter effect, but the other issue is that this body mist formula is very drying for skin. Even when sprayed on top of lotion, it leaves an uncomfortable tightening feeling. You can combine it with some citruses and musks to make it smell less artificial I guess.
