Sundrenched Blooms

Umm...it doesn't smell like any of the listed floral notes to me except desert lily, so I will describe what it's like to my nose: The opening features a sweet, semi-floral watermelon and apple combination. It's slightly tart. About half an hour in, these sweet fruity notes meld into the floral heart. Apparently, desert lilies (hesperocallis undulata) exude a sweet aroma with a hint of earthiness and green. They are a solar flower. That is what I detect, too. It smells like a waxy and green vanilla. The base is a gentle, warm musk. If you have trouble with solar notes, this one is very mild. I do smell the mineral note, which VS uses for many summery perfumes (Very Sexy Now, Tease Dreamer, etc). For the majority of the wear time, you get all the notes blended into a warm floral that has a mellow sweetness. I swear there is a hint of something dewy and aquatic in the drydown. I like Sundrenched Blooms the most out of this spring quad. It projects well and smells pretty. It's a nice balance of floral and sweet. It lasts 6ish hours. It does remind me of past VS desert-inspired collections for spring.
