Velvet Petals Brulee

EXTREMELY underrated. it's suchh a good scent, i'd say flower notes, almond blossom and marshmallow... so delicious, very girly, gotten me many compliments and perfect as my signature scent. velvet petals brulee they could never make me hate you<3

Sweet nutty almond and floral, with a sugary sweetness. Reminds me of VS vanilla bean and macadamia body mist! Creamy and lactonic. Probably due to this it smelt a little like saliva to me when I first sprayed but phew it went away.

I like this one. It's my least favorite out of the brulee flankers. No almond is detectable tbh it's like the original velvet petals but with extra creme. Pleasant.

Do you guys remember the original jergans natural glow scent? It was slightly acidic and kind of burned your nose. It still has a hint of that smell... This smells like that... It's strange. Acidic. Really strong. I don't know what to make of it.

Almond? WHERE? BITTER almond??? Absolutely NOT. Oh hi, it's that unisex, harsh skin musk scent that's been done everywhere since the early 80's, again. But now! With a *very* lowkey, quickly fading, wildly overpowered with smooth spiced skin, snackalicious smooth/cream vibe (sans caramel, dulce de leche, brown sugar, cotton candie or anything remotely sweet). The Good StuffTM Velvet Petals Brulee's 100% not-almond dark muskiness is here to contrast and 'boost' the smell we're all after (velvet petals), but it drowns it out instead and requires refreshing with some other perfume or body spray that contains the scent this fragrance's name suggests. If you're into a long lasting, cozy can 'still smell boyfriend's hoodie the next day' meets pungeant memories of his Little Trees black musk car freshener... don't miss this! GIRL! RUN!!! GET yaself to the nearest shop and scoop up all of it. Immediately. It will deliver the vibe, and it will do this beautifully. On first spray VPB truly is heavenly in it's own sweaty way, and reminded me a bit of Sunset Gelato's 'salted' vibe. Minus SG's deliciously rich pistachio or caramel which gave false hope it might still be really gorgeous, yeah that didn't last at all. This strong burst mellows somewhat and once in awhile even allows the clean 'cream' aspect makes surprise appearances, shortly before being subdued and thrown into the basement once again. I don't hate this as it does smell pretty good for what it is (alongside others in the mature vaguely spicey musk category)... but unless VS's QC is nonexistant, there's nothing strawberry, custard/creme brulee, or gourmand about this fragrance among the bottles I've tested and bought. Diabolical deception was devised with this release. So please. Someone explain to me like I'm 5, why the fook this dreamy darling cutesy girly/princessy bottle contains such a masculine juice in it? Or just tell me the name of the molecule VS threw into this one so I can find the correct unisex formulation and call this what it is- the cheap version of THAT. for what it's worth. It is midsummer here and we're having 60 to 85 degree weather and high humidity.

Shockingly, the best of the brûlée collection to me. I am typically a pure seduction fan and will occasionally enjoy bare vanilla flankers. But this is the best edition of velvet petals I have smelled. Its a creamy, well-blended floral that is slightly lipsticky. Very sexy but still girly and flirty. They did an excellent job with this one.
