Very Sexy Now 2017

I go back and forth to this site but only log in to review this one. I had a bottle of this perfume on sale two years ago as a blind buy, and you guys, I’M OBSESSED! I feel so bad that it’s discontinued, and I can't find it anywhere else, which makes me miserably not dare to use the last 5ml of it from the bottle. I keep sniffing it when I don't have the mood for anything, and this scent is uplifting as fck 😭 it’s extremely tropical, feminine, sexy, summery, beautiful. It lasts on me for about 10 hours - which is incredible - and the notes are nothing similar to the original Very Sexy. In fact, I find Very Sexy is a bit nauseating, the dark berry makes it a bit masculine to my nose. Very Sexy Now - on the other hand - is the opposite of it. Since I’ve run out of my VSN bottle, I’ve been searching desperately to find anything similar to it. And the guava note 😭 If VS team has ever gone through this review, for god’s sakes, please restock it. It performs way much better than many other scents of them 🥺

Smells like summer, can't get enough. As usual VS perfumes just don't last very long and that's my only complaint. I'm at the beach smelling suntan oils and fruity frozen drinks. Just won't last long enough. Have to reapply more often or layer with the lotion. Still a fun one for summer.

LOVE this! One of my favorites from VS. I have a few but this is such a great tropical summer scent. Guava is strong and the coconut is just perfect! Unfortunately all VS fragrances don’t last long! Hopefully they will come out with something that’s like this for another summer scent.

This is my favorite very sexy summer perfume yet! I love how fresh and clean this smells, while still having some sweetness. I almost went through a whole bottle last summer and I NEVER go through bottles!! Now I’m regretting the fact that I didn’t get a backup.

Gorgeous summer scent! It's kind of a spicy tropical fragrance, lucky for me coconut always comes out beautifully on my skin, and I'm a big coconut lover. I look forward to rocking this again in a couple of months along with Bombshell Paradise!

I bought this because I loved how it smelled when I sprayed it on the card. Totally forgot that I usually like to try things on my skin, all day, and for good reason. D'OH! The top note to this is lovely. Fresh, warm, and sultry. Unfortunately, it burns off almost immediately on me and I'm left with something that's just kind of... generic, and as reviewers on the VS website have said, "old." It's not bad, but nothing special. Fortunately I just got the rollerball on sale and paid with a rewards card, so I'm not really out any money.

Very nice fresh and floral scent with a hint of coconut. Think of the original Very Sexy perfume but fresher. The guava is overpowering coconut in my opinion. In fact, after the dry down I don't detect coconut at all. I like this, my only complaint is that it doesn't project at all and disappears quickly. It is nothing groundbreaking but still a nice light scent for warmer days and nights. It is officially discontinued, but keep an eye out for this during VS's semi-annual sale, that's where I just got it from.

Very unique. Very glad I blind bought a re-release of this. I mainly pick up on the florals, but it never leans into stuffy or white florals. It's just vaguely pleasant and clean and almost reminds me of fresh laundry, even though there are no cotton notes. I don't detect anything tropical like guava juice or coconut, but if those notes were stronger it would ruin the fragrance in my opinion. Will really enjoy this bottle and interested in layering with it.

I didn't really like this. It smells tropical to me. I'm glad the perfume isn't strong because it's smell is on my favorite

It smells like the original Puma Jamaica, just a bit more summery and a bit more modern. Big love!

If you averaged out every tropical, beachy summer scent out there, you might get this. It’s a sweet, bright, fruity-floral with woody and lactonic undertones from the coconut. It’s very basic and fairly generic, but it’s not bad . It’s sitting on a Tropical Beach in the shade of some Tropical Flowering Tree, drinking a Tropical Drink out of a coconut. What beach? What type of tree? What kind of drink? The tropical kind. Now reapply your sunscreen; you have a beach read to finish.

It is so mild and little bit creamy and innocent.On me it smells very similar to Noa Cacharel,although they have totally different notes

The coconut in this perfume is very strong. I can also smell the guava. There is a hint of floral to it, which makes it different from your average tropical scents. It is an okay fragrance. It's nothing I'd go out of my way to get. I haven't reached for this one in years. I am trying to give it another go, as I used to wear it occasionally. I just can't seem to put it on. Perhaps if I lived near a beach, or was on vacation, it may possibly be something I'd reach for. This scent is definitely good for summer & is light, but still noticable.

I dont ever get headached especially not from any perfumes but there's something about this that gives me an instant headache and makes me queasy. And there's no coconut whatsoever. Its an overly soapy synthetic smell that doesnt calm down. Its purely synthetic. Like sheer plastic in liquid spray form. Its really 👎 BAD.

SOMEONE HELP ME!!! SO I PURCHASED SECOND HAND (TRUSTED SOURCE) THIS FRAGRANCE IN THE BOX STILL SEALED IN SALIPHANE. THE BACK OF THE BOX HAS NOTES LISTED COCONUT WATER, PINK LOTUS, WARM SAND ACCORD. NOW THE BOTTLE IS SIMILAR TO THIS BOTTLE BUT ITS ROUND.BLACK CAP WITH THE FLOWERS ON THE BACK. NOW WHEN SEARCHING I NOTICED OTHER USED OPENED BOXES FROM OTHER PEOPLE AND PLACES THAT HAD SAME BOTTLE AND BOX BIT THE NOTES WHERE AS LISTED THE GUAVA, FLOWERS COCONUT LIKE ON THIS FRAGRANTICA. SAME BOX SAME BOTTLE. BUT I SEEN OTHER BOXES AND BOTTLES LIKE MINE BUT NOTES LISTED COCONUT WATER ,PINK LOTUS, SAND ACCORD JUST LIKE MINE...NOW I KNOW THE BLUE VERY SEXY NOW IS THE COCONUT WATER LOTUS ONE BUT WHY ARE THERE EDITIONS ON THIS FRAGRANCE WITH THE NOTES THAT ARE LISTED ON THE 2017 BOX LIKE THE BLUE PINKISH 2016 BOTTLE? Wow wow wow. I just "blind bought" the mist from the semi annual sale. They actually messed up my order and gave me this when I ordered something else. It's a happy accident though because turns out I adore this scent. One of my former coworkers said this was what his wife wore all the time and it drove him wild. I thought no way a VS tropical type scent has that effect. But it's playful and kind of sexy. Wear this during your summer fling. It's surprisingly not that tropical, but it IS fresh and a little fruity. At first spray you get the guava and a little hint of floral. I get no coconut at all. It's actually kind of woody and peppery, but not overwhelmingly so. It comes off so clean and almost like laundry or shampoo. I have not tried the original very sexy, but I have tried very sexy night, and that one definitely shares some DNA with very sexy now. I am just instantly in love and so surprised at this scent. And I'm surprised something so fresh feels so sexy. It's more of a daytime sexy that's flirty and playful. Not a crazy scent. I think you'd be safe to wear this to the office, and I'm fully planning to.

this one is rather disappointing. ITs seem rather fruity and not that different from usual VS line. Very Sexy previous years tended to be heavier on coconut. I still have half the bottle of 2016 one and its greenish coconut which is great in the summer(of course I live in the tropics so its basically summer all year around so doesn't really matter lol) anyhoo, this one I can't really tell there is any coconut in it, its more of a fruty floral to me. I have to give it another sniff to make sure I don't want to get it. PS those ladies who don't want to pay full price for limited edition ones(and I don't), just wait a while. They always discount those at 50% off or more after a while UPDATE: I smelled it again and I was right the first time. No coconut to be seen(and smelled). Its very fruity and rather meh to me. Passing this one up

Of course, I bought this! Was hard to resist when I've all the other Very Sexy Now perfumes. I bought the 50ml, and this one is different from all the others, to me each year is different from each other, but to me VSN 2017 is the most different out of all of them. I smell the Guava the most, I smell the mariposa flower, and that makes this perfume different, and that's why I bought it, the coconut is there, but to me isn't as noticeable as previous years. For anyone who follows me on Youtube, and watches my perfume reviews, I've only bought three perfumes so far in the month of March, way better than January, and February combined, I bought 50 bottles, and it was just way out of hand. I plan on reviewing VSN 2017 on Youtube hopefully this weekend.

When I first got this perfume in (blind bought it onsale at Victoria's Secret Online), I didn't like it at all. Was not what I had expected. By the design of the bottle and description, I was hoping for a light, fruity floral suitable for summer, but instead it smells more like a spicy Oriental on me..kind of masculine, like a unisex or men's cologne. It is starting to grow on me, though. Got a thumbs up from one of my co-workers, so that's given me some piece of mind. Someone here compared it to Secret 55. They do smell similar, but 55 is a little bit sweeter and stronger. Over all...I think this perfume would be great for fall/winter, not for summer as expected. Adorable bottle, though.

This is pretty but I wish they had put a bit more coconut and flowers in it. The fruity note of the perfume dominates on my skin. It smells like peach with a hint of grapefruit and pear to me. There is a touch of floral and the drydown has a trace of vanilla-coconut . But this is basically just really fruity on me. The style of it reminds me of Escada's Summer Editions from the early 2000's. The closest thing I own to this now is Only Me Passion. On the scent card VSN 2017 smells like the lovely scent of Cover Girl blush from the 90's but not so much on my skin unfortunately since my skin pulls the fruit. The body spray is more floral powdery bubblegummy and I really like its scent.

Well....this one has NO coconut to my nose....??? It goes on kinda "harsh" then freshens up....however..the notes just don't match wahat's in the bottle...IMHO.I agree that this is unisex too....but not the bottle...lol....Nice bottle...."meh" juice, sorry to say. Generic,everyday,no-nonsense type fragrance. If ya want coconut and dreamy clouds & a touch exotic....get a bottle of Very Sexy Now 2014 !!!! I am lovin' that one!! Sometimes I layer it with Bath and Body Works Leather Mist (discontinued)....Coconut and Leather...??? Oh Yea! It somehow just....works...together....go figure.

Sweet, creamy, floral, and weirdly clean? Pretty nice scent with great longevity for the price. Only downside for me is that it turns super floral after a while. The clean airy coconut smell at first spray is to die for though. I like to layer it with stronger scents so that the coconut and fruity notes shine better. For a more straightforward tropical, sweet, laconic scent, I would go with the Tease Dreamer from Victoria Secret.

This smells a lot like Very Sexy Now 2010 or 2011. I don't smell much coconut; it's all fruity to me. The bottle looks very beautiful in person. It lasts as long as a Victoria's Secret scent usually does (a little longer than their body mists). I didn't get a baby powder smell though---just very tart and fruity.
