Very Sexy Now Wild Palm

I am very surprised this scent has no coconut listed as a note. It is so tropical and pretty and doesn't have the white floral edge these listed notes indicate. Very Sexy Now Beach smells like these notes indicate and Very Sexy Now Wild Palm smells like it has the orange blossom, coconut and sand. I am so confused. I have both scents and the Wild Palm is sexy and beautiful. It literally smells like a vacation at a 5 star resort. I will be getting a large bottle of this so I can spray without restraint.

Initially grabbed a bottle of this purely for the memories I have associated with it. Man I was pleasantly surprised when I smelled it again. Seriously a perfect summer fragrance, not too heavy on the coconut, relatively light. I believe its been confirmed the notes for this and very sexy now beach got mixed up so these aren't accurate. I should add I think Arizona Bloom by Floral street is actually a pretty close to this, more so in this one's opening. This is slightly sweeter though in the dry down.

I like this one! I am one to enjoy challenging fragrances though! To me this is Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche meets a very robust green note, almost a green fig. It is big, it is cloying and as I said it is challenging! Definitely not going to be a winner for everyone, but it is for me!!!

I love this perfume! As a tropical scent, it's meant to be a summer perfume, but I love to wear it occasionally in the dead of winter when I yearn for warmer weather. It feels like the beach in a bottle. I wish it weren't a limited time fragrance.

This is a wonderful dupe of 2017's Bronze Goddess by Estée Lauder! I highly enjoy these super summery scents! There are sweet, soft, creamy coconut notes combined with fruity fresh ones. They're beautiful!

This is beautiful, smells similar to bronze goddess but without the hairspray note , so in my opinion better , the bottle is beautiful, I really love the smell it’s definitely more of a tropical coconut ❤️

A blind buy—found this on Fragrancenet for a decent price, and considering how much I’ve enjoyed some of the other Very Sexy Nows in the past, and that the notes sounded lovely, figured I’d better give this one a shot. The more I smell this, the more I like it. It’s definitely got that coconut, sun tan lotion vibe going on, but it also has some woody notes in the background that give it a bit of a unisex kick. In fact, it almost pulls spicy on me. I would say it still leans typically “feminine” though. However, as many have said before, just wear what you want despite what others might classify the smell as. It shouldn’t matter as long as you’re happy! I see myself wearing this day or night during the summer, and I can’t wait to smell it in warmer weather. I think anyone who enjoys a typical coconut/sun tan lotion type fragrance will like this.

I couldn't resist buying the mini bottle set of Very Sexy Now Beach and Wild Palm for $15 at VS. Wild Palm is the stronger of the two fragrances. It starts off with a fruity note which must be the star fruit. I don't think I've ever smelled star fruit before. This note fades pretty fast and then it's white flowers dipped in monoi oil. This has kind of a suntan lotion vibe to it which is not what I expected, but I like it. This will be a fun scent to wear this summer on the weekends and while on vacation.

Smells almost identical to Bronze Goddess skin scent. The reason I believe is because both have tiare flower and coconut (monoi oil is made by soaking tiare petals in coconut oil). The VS one is the stronger version so if you're struggling making a decision between the two, maybe this info will be helpful.

I wear it every summer it's a typical pleasant summer perfume! You can't go wrong with that one.. It reminds me a bit of bronze godess but on my skin BG didn't smell good 😭so that one is the next best thing

I agree with Jadelynn. Wild Palm is not a scent that should be on humans. I immediately regretted spraying it. I'm not sure it if smells like expired coconut oil, but it's a very sickening smell. It is strong, too. It smells nothing like Very Sexy Now 2016. That's actually a very pretty, good quality fragrance. There's nothing about VSN 2016 that smells expired. VSN 2016 has a buttery quality they call a sand accord; it's actually a very lovely accord that stands out, but is warm and alluring. VSN 2016 would be like high-end suntan lotion, and Wild Palm would be old dollar-store suntan lotion. Wild Palm is like the evil twin of Very Sexy Now Beauty of Brazil from 2009. VS was going for the same vibe, but... yeah. Wild Palm is so strong. It just wouldn't go away. One spray on my coat was too much. I could not IMAGINE how fast people would run if they smelled about 5 or 6 sprays on someone in the summer heat. That's enough to make the strongest stomachs turn. I feel sorry for them already. Yes, Wild Palm is that bad. It's "cheap car air-freshener" bad -- an extra-obnoxious one. (Beach isn't great either. They share the same generic dollar-store sun-product vibe, but I could barely smell it. It smelled like floral water. Any trace of Beach, after an hour, was gone.) VS has been on a bad run lately with fragrances. It's a microcosm of the downhill trend of their fragrances. A winner will appear soon, hopefully. It's a shame because the bottle is to die for. Very beautiful.

I used to have this and remember how strong it was. Cloying. I bought it again, and feel good about how this one will last, and I got super disappointed. The scent is gone within an hour, and that's on clothes. What happened?

The green bottle is the heavy coconut, and the red bottle is more floral. The notes do look like they're opposites, though. Good point for anyone who wants to refer to the notes.

You will like this perfume if you like a tropical coconut type vibe. You will like this perfume if you like a perfume that leads with a musky type lift. You will like this perfume if you appreciate a fragrance chord with interactive chemical notes which dance above the skin... this is sparkling, animated, fun. ---------- Fresh, this smells similar to my beloved Eau du Ciel - only with the DNA of Bronze Goddess; still, very fresh, clean - spring-like. ---------- Minty, fresh, coconut, there is a pine note in this too, which seems to hold the fragrance chord together in the base. I like this perfume, but I don't find this fragrance chord to be sensual or sexy in any way. This is more fresh/clean. I have always loved Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess, but never purchased it. I was wearing Estee Lauder perfumes before finding that they were doing animal testing in the Chinese markets. I began researching perfumes again - trying to find companies that were fully committed to NOT doing animal testing... this is when I stumbled into researching the Victoria's Secret line of perfumes (about 6 years ago). Very Sexy Now - Wild Palm is not an exact dupe of Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess, but it shares some common notes and the theme. In my opinion, it is missing the suntan oil/lotion notes of Bronze Goddess. The Very Sexy name used in Victoria's Secret perfumes is a great marketing gimmick, but it doesn't necessarily mean that their perfumes are any more sensuous or "sexy" than other perfume smells. I don't perceive this to be terribly "sexy"... this is more in the category of fresh, clean, pine forest smelling. I love green perfumes on occasion, this definitely resonates with the more "green" perfumes that I have tried. -------------- Final Verdict - I sprayed this on while testing several other fragrances - and left this on over night while doing my research/writing. Smelled the group of fragrances in the morning to find out which ones blended the best with my chemistry. There was one perfume which had a nice sweetness resonating from it. I sniffed this a couple of times and was like... hey, this is really pretty GOOOOOOD! It took me a few minutes to remember exactly what this perfume was -- and -- THIS WAS IT! Ok, so this actually does some great things with my chemistry after all. This is much better the longer it wears. The dry down is simply MAGICAL!

Almost bought this online without smelling first since VS has a really great bundle deal going on now and the bottle is just gorgeous! Really glad I waited to smell it in store first. Based on the description, I thought I'd like this one better than the "Beach" version, since I don't like anything with coconut in it as it reminds me of sunscreen. It turns out Wild Palm actually has a more generic "tropica/beach" scent than the Beach version, probably because of the "expired" coconut-oil-like smell the first poster mentioned. I assume it's the monoi oil. Both versions smell cheap, heavy, and generic to me, but this one in particular. As someone who lives in the tropics, these sorts of summer fragrances always just smell like cheap tourist shops filled with overpriced items made in China. Absolutely the sort of scent you wouldn't want to have on you anywhere as hot, sticky, and humid as any place in the tropics.

My friend gave this as a present. I loved it initially then after a week I feel like my mom would love it more than me. It's not intoxicating but for some reason it makes me dizzy if I spray more than 3. The only person who complemented me that I smell great with this perfume is the lobby guard. That's it, I was hoping for more and was thinking maybe people are just not used to this scent but even if it's summer, no loved it on me. Dry down smells great but the longevity is not that great. Will I recommend it, yes. Only if you like to smell like a forest that's trying to be sexy by the beach and watching sunset and you're wearing a bikini and about to have dinner with your man or that special someone. Other than that, stay away from it, it's a bit unique but gets generic overtime.😅

Just a little review to share that VERY SEXY NOW WILD PALM actually smells like a dupe for the Victoria's Secret Body Mist NEON PALMS. It's a beautiful sharp tropical greenery scent with gardenia. It smells how I would imagine the Amazon rain forest smells after a tropical rainstorm and all the sharp green scent of the big green leafy palm leaves pierce through the air. And there is an edge of gardenia that smells almost like a banana leaf like the gardenia in Madonna's TRUTH or DARE perfume (white bottle). I do not detect any coconut or tropical fruits... only a strong sharp greenery note and a banana leaning white gardenia floral. Very jungle themed!

It was a good deal, and the bottle is a beautiful shade of green in person. Wild Palm is much lighter than I thought it would be based on the notes. What you get is a light breezy monoi for the most part with some woods. It's almost a clean (island type) every day scent. Not overwhelming in the heat. I had to reconsider my initial opinion on it. While it’s not very long lasting, it is refreshing monoi. You don’t find many of those. I do agree this is a shadow of Beauty of Brazil.

Not a dupe for Soleil Blanc to me (too much tiare) but very close to Bronze Goddess Skinscent eau Fraiche. I bought a full bottle on eBay for $15 and may pass it on to a colleague who loves Bronze Goddess. Good smell but not working for me now in the cooler weather. Such a pretty bottle and packaging though. I never go into Victoria Secret but guess I may have to. I am curious about the Beach version of this.

Mwalton & CherriedEmpress, I think you're on to something! I was pretty surprised when I smelled the 2 Very Sexy Nows and got a much stronger coconut from the green bottle. I'm wondering if they ran the wrong notes with the wrong bottles in marketing? Or maybe just mixed up coconut and monoi... someone who reviewed the orange bottle said it smells like monoi oil hahaha

I dont know if the notes are wrong or if VS swapped the juice in my bottles? My green bottle smells just like Jennifer Anistons Near Dusk, All sand and coconut. My Red bottle smells like the floral. Which looks like the opposite of what is listed? So im a little confused. It smells nice but I already own Near Dusk & im sticking with that.

ah this is the typical beachy smell that is everywhere nowadays. its a great dupe for TF's Soleil Blanc, btw! i tried that one out because the bottle is amazing, but I wasn't about to drop $100 on a totally dupable scent. It's very clean, crisp linen - reminiscent of Jennifer Aniston's fragrances.

Smells just like Bronze Goddess but at a fraction of the price. Longevity isn’t great for either so might as well get this gem if it’s still around 😉. It was my holiday scent I took to Boracay, Bali and Goa.

Mono oil. Oh, yum! I must try this one.
