Victoria's Secret Bombshell Italian Iris

Definitely the best out of the Spring 2013 collection! The other two(VS Angel Italian Bergamot and Very Sexy Italian Mandarin) are very fresh and clean but nothing special where as VS Bombshell Italian Iris has a sexy and sensual side to it as well but also still very fresh and light enough for warmer weather! I love the original Bombshell and trust me this definitely is a different scent otherwise I would never have bought it being that I already own Bombshell!

One of my favorites, it is pretty and minimal. To me, this smells all fresh spicy made only from florals, but also delivers a juiciness (or sweetness?) comparable to a nectarine. The dry down is slightly powdery in nature, but does not lose the fresh spicy aroma.

ADORE this perfume! :) what a shame it is only a summer edition :( hopefully i ́ll get another bottle at the anual sale.

VS knows the way to a girl's heart with the million dollar perfume bottle look. It's weird but all the Bombshell special editions smell better than the original Bombshell to me. I was never the Bombshell fan. I thought all of the Italians editions weren't too bad. Italian Iris Bombshell opens to a floral scent. If you're sick and tired of all the corn syrup smell, this is a refreshing change for the Spring. While it's not Holy Grail "I must buy scent", it is definitely pleasurable and infinitely upbeat, happy, clean, pretty scent. This scent develops on my skin very beautifully. The first half an hour or so was just okay. The dry down is so comforting and airy light. The floral is well tamed with woody sweet dry down to prevent the aldehyde floral headache I usually get from all floral scents. A perfect spring scent.

Smells vaguely related to the original Bombshell, but this time there are some additional floral notes, and the passionfruit is toned way down, or maybe even removed. I would never guess these notes listed by the way it smells. I don't even think poppies have a scent. I smell grapefruit in all the Bombshell flankers, including this one. The orris root gives this a pleasant powderiness. As usual, this flanker smells better than the original Bombshell to me. Italian Iris is my favorite of the three Italian inspired limited editions.

A lovely, soft, sweet, powdery iris. I really like this! My only complaint is that it's a bit *too* soft, settling into a skin scent quite quickly and not lasting terribly long. It does last a little longer on clothes, which helps, and can be refreshed. I'll enjoy it while I have it, but when I'm next in the market for an iris scent I may try to find something stronger. Still, for half off it's a nice scent for summer and I will definitely enjoy it.

Another scent that outstrips the VS profile. Not your sugary, sex-oozing fragrance from VS. Soft, subtle, sophisticated, barely a a smack of sweetness, wrapped in a light purple floral. Again, not a statement perfume, not much attitude but very nice in a non-confrontational way.

I really like Bombshell Italian Iris. It is is soft, sweet, kind of romantic, and clean smelling. It does bear a lot of resemblance to the original bombshell, just not quite as fruity. The only real complaint I have with this one is that there is NO lasting power.

This is my favorite out of the "Italian" perfumes from VS but I dont know if I'll purchase it. I smell the iris the most and the scent is a little sweet :) I'll have to smell this again to make sure if I truly like this or not.

Okay first off, can we just talk about these names? Very Sexy Italian Mandarin Angel Italian Bergamot Bombshell Italian Iris .......Did they forget to use any creativity? Ahem, aka ME. I get it, some people like to keep it simple & go by notes....but we all can see the notes on the back of the box! The NAME of the perfume should be unique and intriguing. How about Bombshell GETAWAY Angel Paradise & VERY SEXY Fantasy At least with my names, there is a sense of adventure, since we are trying to feel like we are traveling the beautiful coasts of Italy. Anyways, I still gave the collection a chance and I smelt Bombshell first....and I was not impressed. It smelled like a weaker, whatever version of the original Bombshell. Nothing about it was like "OMG LOVE IT HAVE TO BUY" & Trust me I am a huge fan of VS & love the Bombshell brand. I am soooooooo disappointed, the bottles are pretty cute and I love the idea they ALMOST went with but then I feel like they cut it short and just sent it out incomplete. No name. No creativity. No personality. Sadly, The Boy Next Door

I was shocked to find that VS B Italian Iris smells, at least in the top-note, very similar to Gianfranco Ferre's "Ferré"!—one of my favorite scents. I keep a small vial in my purse, and someone walked past with the same smell. I thought my bottle had opened inside the purse! But no, thank heavens, it was the passerby, and she told me she'd just sprayed-on the VSB Italian Iris. How great is that! Something I can afford to use alot. and often! That is, if I can find it.

Victoria Secret Bombshell Italian Iris has a very soft iris with sweet poppy and subtle orris. As a Bombshell fanatic I have collected all of the Bombshell flankers and out of Victoria Secret's Spring 2013 fragrance collection Bombshell Italian Iris would be my favorite!

Got a great deal on this from eBay. However..... I will make this a simmple review. For me,this is 99.5% original Bombshell and the remaining .5% being the Iris part....that's it....sadly.This leaves me disappointed. Oh well....

Idc if its VS or not, I need something similar. This is my FAVORITE and I can't find it anywhere. If anyone has a good dupe for it let a girl know.
