Winter Bombshell

This special edition Bombshell is very nice. It smells similar to the original bombshell, but more "powdery". It makes me think of crushed sweet tarts. I actually do smell the star fruit, which is great. And it has a decent longevity, about the same as the normal Bombshell. It comes in a lovely siver box that I actually keep it in, displayed on my perfume shelf. It looks lovely. This is a nice little novelty perfume. I hope they do it again next year.

Purchased this with a secret reward card, I LOVE this scent ! It's very 'Hollister' to me. A very light and mellow scent. It's very fruity on the open on me and then turned into a fresh floral with a warm undertone I can't put my finger on. But this is a mature scent, not being to loud and in your face like some of there other scents. I would recommend this for most people who like a nice floral fruity scent that isn't overbearing.

My sister bought me this in Canada in the winter of 2015, and it is a perfect scent for all seasons.

This is lovely, I've been wearing it almost everyday since I received it. On me it is a delicate shampoo-like scent, much less sharp than the original Bombshell. Winter Bombshell is like clean skin or hair after using fruity bath products. I love the star fruit note with the soft floral notes. It does not in any way remind me of winter, but it is beautiful and the dry down is amazing. I've been preferring to use lighter "skin scents" lately and this has been perfect.

This is a very light scent- until you spray too much and you're choking lol its pretty and refreshing but nothing special

Behind the scenes at Victoria's Secret probably: VS Suit: We want a winter fragrance that evokes cold air, fresh powdery snow on green bows, and sugared cranberries. Perfumer: Okay, in that case we’re looking at notes of-- VS Suit: But make it sexy, floral, and clean. You know, the Victoria’s Secret Special. Perfumer: ...Right. In Winter Bombshell’s defense, I actually do think it manages to be evocative of winter iconography while still toeing the line of the typical Victoria’s Secret perfume DNA. Or maybe my nose is just easily influenced by marketing; that’s definitely possible. Anyway, it’s an easy reach but it’s not a bad fragrance. It’s pretty, friendly, and pleasantly energetic. She’s stamping the snow off her boots on her parent's wicker welcome mat; she’s in Nordstrom buying Nest candles for her friends and wearing a red scarf; she refuses to be sick of Christmas music until at least the 27th.

Victoria Secret’s Winter Bombshell has the original Bombshell base, but this time it has a juicy star fruit top note! I know that majority of VS fragrances are fruity or fruity florals, but it seems like every time they do a “winter” or “holiday” scent it smells like something they should be releasing during the summer. All in all I do like the scent, I just wish they would market a more “season appropriate” scent rather than just slapping a red bow on a fruity scent and calling it “winter”. I got sucked into the Bombshell fragrances when I was a former bottle collector. Now I collect just the bombshells since they are my biggest running bottle collection. However, I have very much left my VS days behind me since I think the brand has gone downhill tremendously (it appeals to superficial teenage girls) and I get my bottles for a discount on ebay!

let me just put it out there that this is getting a positive review from me regardless of how it smells because it came with a free tote and body lotion :) yay! scent-wise it reminds me a lot of the original bombshell, this one has fruity sweetness and jasmine where the original has more citrus. longevity is pretty decent, it's definitely better than the last bombshell flanker (pink diamonds, i think) which basically just smelled like air. for someone with a casual interest who already owns the original, i would say that this flanker will not add very much new or interesting to your collection. but if you're like me and you have a little voice in your head telling you to collect them all, this is definitely one worth owning.

this is limited edition but it really smells too much like the original Bombshell for me to pay it any special attention. and any other edition of Bombshell, also smells very much like the original. Yawn and more yawn Victoria Secret creative team needs to be replaced. There is no creativity in their scents at all anymore
