XO Victoria

So I have this as body mist and EDP. The mist smells nothing like the Parfum. The mist is very bitter, unremarkable peppery on my skin. I've had the parfume for ages, having bought it on sale on a whim. And I was debating opening it up at all because I don't really like the mist anymore. But I was pleasantly surprised. The parfum opens up with sharp clean apple on my skin. The kind of apple you know from kids shampoo and shower gels. in my mind it's a Granny Smith. For me this skips the rose entirely, landing straight on the ivy and remains very fresh greens, almost out of the shower. I really like it. It's my cup of tea scentwise. It's something I see myself reaching for when I can't decide what to wear that day. It's a nice, office friendly everyday scent that will not stand out and certainly will not offend, might even get you compliments.

This perfume is interesting to me, I just got it. The notes are balanced in this perfume, I feel like you can smell each note the same. The green apple gives a sharpness to this perfume, the green apple, and ivy to me mix together once it dries down, and then the rose starts to come through. To me this is the perfect floral / rose perfume it's not over bearing, it's just right. I would say it's more of a rose petal smell, than just a straight up rose. To me smelling out of the bottle, and on skin is slightly different. Once I smelled this perfume out of the bottle it was a Love, and something different that Victoria's Secret has done. This is a perfect spring time perfume. Overall I give this perfume a 9/10. I will be doing a more in depth review on youtube sometime later this week.

I have the body mist, so what I'm smelling may be different from the EDP. This smells like walking through an ivy covered door leading into the rose garden of a little cottage just after a light morning shower. The ivy is very green, fresh and almost vegetal smelling on my skin and the dewiness of a fresh red rose soon joins in. The drydown on me is pretty much just the wonderful ivy and rose, although I do get hints of apple. I plan on going back to try the EDP and see if it develops differently from the mist. I do recommend this one as a nice alternative summer scent to the usual coconut/fruit salad scents that VS releases this time of year (which I also like, but ultimately they begin to sort of 'run together' and smell too similar to justify purchasing).

VS has the semiannual going on so these extreme over priced perfumes (IMO) are dirt cheap currently. So. I grabbed several. One of which was XO. My sister wears it and it smells fresh on her. For me the first spray and wear I said oh wow. This is Selena Gomez’s 2nd fragrance Vivamore. Like. To a T. And after a long day of wearing it, while it had similarities it was much stronger and less “grassy” like vivamore. It set well on my skin and heavy on my chest but not. Choke me heavy. Very good scent for $17 for a full size bottle! Happy happy!

So feminine, so fresh, so beautiful. This is perfect for spring. First spray it opens up with sweet apple scents mixed with beautiful dewy fresh cut rose. Then after awhile it smells green and fresh but still slightly sweet. Its like fruity floral fresh scents.. I bought the bodyspray.but I am so going to get the perfume. I love it!

Very nice, light and lively smell. It has a floral scent, quite sweet but not sharp and not annoying. Perfect for any weather and for each day wearing. Rose and apple smells give the brilliant combination here It quickly became one of my favourites, I love it!

Powdery rose plus green apples (sweeter) , very lovely and femenine! The Ivy gives it a nice green fresh touch but nothing overwhelming. I enjoy this when I am in the mood and the bottle is lovely! Moderate lasting power, I layer with lotion!

Another one of my favorite springtime scents. XO, Victoria is a clean, fresh, ivy rose perfume. Very different from Victoria’s Secret’s stereotypical sex bomb fragrances. Very sophisticated and pretty.

This floral scent smells kinda soapy, clean and a bit tart. It has a sweet citrus vibe. It smells good! It is perfect for summer and spring time. Day wear and if you just want to smell good and fresh.

Ooo I like this! Upon first spray I noticed strawberry. Then the rose and wood began to shine. This reminds me a bit of Stella by Stella McCartney. A pleasant modern rose fragrance. 🌹

Usually Im not that into fragrances with rose but this one I like because the rose is not overpowering its a soft fresh floral fragrance.

For those of you who are bored with long, detailed reviews, there is some perfume geekery in the 2nd paragraph so feel free to skip to the last paragraph for a shorter review. :) I’ve recently tried this fragrance a couple of times on my skin. Though the notes pyramid lists only 3 notes, there is no way this juice is made up of only what they suggest. It opens with a fresh burst of Granny Smith Apple note and quickly morphs into a floral bouquet of Freesia, Rose, and Lily of the Valley. The underlying sugary White Musk that is embedded in every single recent Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works (owned by the same company) fragrance quickly emerges and becomes star of the show. Weird enough, at this point, the Apple note is completely gone and replaced with Raspberries. In the heart phase I mostly smell sugary White Musk, Red Berries, and Freesia with only a hint of Rose & Lily of the Valley. I suppose the Ivy note could be what I perceive to be the Lily of the Valley but it is so faint that I can’t tell accurately. The drydown is simply fruity, fresh and slightly soapy White Musk. If I had closed my eyes and smelled this composition without looking at any notes, instead of listing Apple, Ivy, and Rose, I would list Raspberries, Freesia, and White Musk as the main 3 notes. Either VS is not listing all of the ingredients in this or I’m just an idiot with a really confused nose. (Well... the latter is a VERY great possibility!) ;) If you love mainstream fruity florals, you could be pleased with this latest offering as this is a juicy-sweet delicate perfume that is perfect for warm weather. Perfumistas who prefer their florals to be more of a “living flower” than a “carbon copied imprint with adulterants” might want to test this before shelling out money for a blind purchase. The projection on my skin is very low but it stays on for 12+ after 4 sprays in the same location. Also, may I point out that the bottle is simply gorgeous!? I might just get a perfume/lotion/body spray set if I find it for a decent price on evilBay. It’s really that delightful! :)

A very fresh, clean, Ivy/wet pink florals, with hints of citrus and woods(but like a fresh woods, not a deep dark woods), I also get a white musk note but that could be the ivy & dewy floral notes mixing. It's simple, east reach, clean, pretty girl scent. I really like it, and if it lasted longer I'd probably wear it multiple times a week. But it does not🥺 It's worth 20-25$, I'd buy the travel sprays & transfer some in, that way you can reapply easier. It a 5/10 for me, b/c it is simple, yet it is pretty, it has great sillage for the 1st 45min, then becomes a skin scent, for the next 1-1.5hrs, before completely fading away, which is so unfortunate. Wish it at least PROJECTED lightly for 2.5/3hrs, oh well guess my hunt is still on for a Victoria style fragrance with lasting power. I just don't get it. They have scents that smell better then any perfume I've ever put my nose on! but b/c of longevity/projection issues AND the brand, they don't get the love they deserve. If someone starts duping VS(in Parfum or extrait) and hits it! It's a WRAP! This (XO), Very sexy, Pure Seduction(original formula), Tease coco soiree, Bombshell Seduction, & Bombshell Nights😍 Guess a girl can have dreams huh?! lol.

This is a really nice fresh fragrance that's ever so slightly fresh-spicy as well as slightly sweet initially, but not to the point that I'd call it a sweet fragrance. It's the sweet citrusy top note that gives an elusive sweetness that unfortunately fades in mere minutes, and then you're left with the fresh, floral, and green notes. Which is fine but I wish the citrus lasted longer as it's yummy and gives the scent more balance. Overall this is a great hot weather perfume, shower-fresh/clean girl scent, office/workplace choice, and easy reach when you want something lighter. It's even a little sexy? It's hard to describe the actual composition though. I cannot detect rose which is unfortunate as I love rose, but I'm bad at detecting notes. If the rose is there it's a very light fresh one not a sweet deep jammy one. Actually none of the notes are very easily identifiable (to me); this scent makes you smell like you were just walking through a field of tall grasses and wildflowers and the scent of all the fresh florals and vegetal spicy green stems and leaves remained on your skin. This is my first VS fragrance and a blind buy and I'm glad I really enjoy it.

As far as fragrance in general this is not unique, but it definitely stands out from most of VS's other scents. Tease/Scandalous/Very Sexy to me are all pleasant but they're also the same dark, sweet, unidentifiably fruity fragrance. XO Victoria is different. It is fresh like Bombshell but without the sharpness, the aquatic qualities, or smelling at all like a man's cologne (which many accuse Bombshell of). It is much more floral than any other VS perfume. I am not sure I get a strong rose out of it. This is definitely on the lighter side. It is perfect for daytime in the spring. I get mostly citrus and a nice fresh green floral. This is a little generic but I think it smells good and that's really all I care about. Plus, the 50ml EDP is on sale on their website now for $15. I believe this has been discontinued so if you're interested, I would grab it now. Definitely a safe blind buy if you like fresh florals.

This is quite different from the usual VS perfume imo. It does smell very green, and not too sweet. The apple is quiet but there. I think this is a very lovely perfume, but for me personally I can't stop noticing that soapy soapy rose and it just makes me feel like I smell 'old lady perfume' ish. The rose is very prominent in this one. Not a safe blind buy but very worth a try if you have the chance to sniff it. Edit: I originally bought this one back in 2016, and recently repurchased it in a sale which is when I decided to write a review. The more I sit with this the more I can see why I bought it the first time. For some reason I just keep reaching for it, even though it's rosy. This smells clean, feminine, and elegant. In fact, dare I say, it smells like money. It conjures images of a princess in her garden in my mind. I find it pretty comforting somehow.

I bought this when Victoria's Secret had a sale for their perfumes $25. Which isn't bad because normally it would cost around $50+ I think! This is a nice smell. It's clean and fresh and girly. Something to wear on a hot summer or spring day! It smells like what the bottle looks it would smell like if that makes any sense. Very girly! The lasting power in this perfumes sucks!!! No more than 3 hrs and I can't smell it anymore! I didn't pay full price for this, but for something to cost $50+ with such bad lasting power is ridiculous! Not anything original or different, I for sure won't repurchase thus, but I guess it worth a whiff if you're in the store.

I wore this for a few days before looking up the notes. I thought I was getting paper and florals. I thought maybe that’s why it was named “XO,” as in written on pretty stationary. However, now that I see it has green apple, that’s it! It’s not a juicy sour green apple, it’s like a thin slice of dried green apple. Maybe that’s because of the ivy. And I don’t actually get rose, I get more of a nondescript floral. This is unique without being challenging. It’s not fruity or sweet or sharp, yet it’s uber feminine in a playful way. I don’t have anything like this in my 50+ bottles

Bought this for my niece Victoria, but I may just keep it! lol it’s bright and sunshiny and perfect for summer. I believe this may be my only fragrance with an ivy note which gives it a fresh feeling. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s an easy reach for spring and summer and has decent longevity. I’d say it’s best for daytime! It’s a good affordable summer scent! Yes, it’s discontinued, but can still find it pretty easily on second hand markets for a decent price.

Light, fresh fruity floral that wears nicely in spring and summer. The apple and rose dominate for sure. It’s pretty and feminine, yet somehow different from VS’s other offerings, probably due to the lack of gourmand notes and the addition of ivy. The lasting power sucks, but if you get your hands on this on sale, that part doesn’t sting so much. I always pair with the matching lotion for a boost. Would not repurchase, but will enjoy the small bottle I have.

6/2018 - I just blind-bought this in the semi-annual sale. It is like a watered-down, less potent, and less sweet version of Versace Eros edt. XO is still fresh, on the lines of Versace versense and D&G Light Blue. XO is more apple and less citrus. A pleasant scent, but I would’ve passed if I had known it smelled like a weaker version of Versace Eros edt, which I already have, in addition to Versense and LIght Blue.

XO Victoria is not unique, but at the same time it's not your typical VS perfume, either. The initial spray is heavy on the apple and is reminiscent of a fruity shampoo. After just a few minutes the notes even out and XO becomes a pleasant feminine fruity floral. I really like this one and will enjoy it while I have it, but it's not unique enough for me to search out a replacement bottle.

A bit sad this was discontinued actually! XO Victoria is not statement-making in any way but it does stand out among the typical fruity sweet fragrances that VS produces. It makes me smell like a dewy, delicate English garden in the morning and that totally works for me! The lasting power is disappointing but since I bought this on clearance that is not a huge problem.

Received XO as a gift and I really enjoyed the scent a lot. I think apple is the most prominent note in this perfume. It's fresh, summery, girly, but not overly sweet. It just somehow releases a really positive, happy energy. It's more of a day perfume and suits younger women better IMO. However, the staying power is quite weak. On me, it only lasts about 3 hours.

I originally smelled wave & powdery notes?Weird! I smell wava somehow, but regardless I love this fragrance! Girly and innocent are words that come to mind when I wear this. Lasting power seems ok, but this is a very light fragrance. I guess I could say fruity/floral. On me it lasted like five or six hours.

This scent isn't the most unique scent in the world but I can't help but to like this! It smells clean but also girly which I love. I will note that I HATE the lotion for this perfume and any of the lotions for the VS perfumes that have pumps on them. They are just awful lol.

To me, this is basically identical to Vince Camuto's Fiori. I love Fiori, and I think this smells really good. It is very light and delicate. It is a perfect spring and summer scent.

I only bought this because my name is Victoria and I collect fragrances with my name on them lol. I'm 56 F and this is not really my cup of tea but it's pleasant enough. It's fresh, rose water with slight woods in the dry down. I will wear it when I'm at home and need something clean but not impactful. Bottle is very kitch but cute.

This has a very soapy/house-cleaner scent to it. While I love citrus scents, this smelled very artificial to my nose. My finance also made a comment about how I smelled like some form of house cleaner (mop cleaner maybe?).

I was not expecting this to be as light as it is. Totally not a floral and/or fruit bomb. Very breezy, easy going, smidge of tartness and green with the apple and the ivy. I could not pick out the floral notes individually for a while, but 4 hours in a faint rose. No sugar, no powder, no musk, no whatever that trademark note is that`s overused in some of VS scents. I could spray without any concern of blowing someone away in fervent roses and orchids. It seems strong going on, especially the apple, but it quickly turns soft. For the tart and greenness, I like it. For the way my husband was pleased with it (surprising) , I like it. Stays pretty close to skin, doesn't seem to have a long life upon wearing. Spring day wear. I do prefer more Oomph , so doubt I would repurchase. Bottle is pretty. First bottle I acquired had a defective sprayer - weak spray, droplets came out and all over my hand, some leakage which dripped under the decorative plastic bow and down the bottle. Purchased online, and VS was kind enough to send me a new , working sprayer bottle. Come to find out, the bottle leaked after that spray even sitting upright , and I never could find a crack :/ So be aware if purchasing - mine was a sale bottle.

On paper this smelled like a generic, non offensive light floral. On my skin this smelled like beer for a minute ??? then it turned into a straight air freshener/laundry scent on me. What an odd evolution! My boyfriend said it smelled like “air wick fresh linen”...that was his made up name for it. Very dry and very sharp. I would return it if I could but I misplaced the receipt. Kinda bummed as the reviews had me convinced it was something else entirely.

Victoria XO, as some reviewers have shared, really does smell similar to Vince Camuto Fiori! That said, to me, the main difference is that Victoria XO is like Vince Camuto Fiori mixed with the juicy green apple note that you get in Eau So Sexy. So it's like Vince Camuto Fiori, but instead of the litchi or quince note, there's a big watery juicy green apple note. Of note, I was really happy to see / smell, that I actually could NOT detect the ivy note in Victoria XO. Personally, I sometimes find that when ivy notes are mixed with rose it becomes a bit too herbal and makes me feel a bit queasy. But I could not detect anything ivy or herbal in Victoria XO... it was just a pretty burst of pink rose petal and watery juicy sweet green apple. Just a very fresh, bright, juicy, watery pink rose and apple scent. Regarding the lasting power, I have to say that even the EDP in the original white opaque bottle performs like a body mist. Even when I overspray and spray it on my clothes, the scent only lasts about 30 minutes. Overall a beautiful, feminine, fresh fruity floral scent... just wish it projected more and lasted longer. The bottle is stunning though with the gorgeous big bow!

I was able to test this perfume today. It's not particularly strong; I tested a different Victoria's Secret fragrance on the other wrist, and the other is much more noticeable. XO Victoria opens very fruity; I got the green apple right away, and I could have sworn there was a melon note as well. It's not overly sweet, more fruity in a refreshing sort of way. The rose develops a bit later, giving it a softness and a bit more sophistication than a merely fruity fragrance would have. I think the ivy is a nice touch; I didn't notice it as a distinct note, but I suspect it's the addition that makes the rose smell a bit more "green" than what I expect from a rose note. It's a nice scent, but nothing ground breaking. Worth sniffing if you're looking for a fresh, summery fragrance that isn't overly sweet. I don't think I'll be investing in a full bottle, the green apple is pretty dominant on me, and that's not a note I typically seek out, but it's a nice twist on what I've come to expect from Victoria's Secret fragrances.

Just a little review to share that XO VICTORIA smells extremely similar to Victoria’s Secret CRUSH, Victoria’s Secret JUST A KISS (bottle with lipstick kisses 💋) and BODACIOUS by Jean Marc Paris (pink bottle with star). They all share a similar opening with a prominent pink pepper note, mixed with a tart bergamot / grapefruit accord, with an airy pink spring floral in the background, and finally a hint of something vinyl / plastic / rubber. VICTORIA XO, as it evolves and dries down, develops more of an aquatic sweet pink rosy apple accord (replacing the tart bergamot / grapefruit accord), like the scent of a watery pink lady apple. 🍎 Thus, this aquatic rose apple note make XO Victoria a bit more sweet fruity and floral than CRUSH, JUST A KISS and BODACIOUS. That said, they are all connected via the pink pepper and bergamot forward main opening notes that they project.

It's kind of like Cool Water with roses and spice. Which is right up my alley. It reminded me of something that's in Can Can by Paris Hilton too. I didn't like Can Can, too much baby powder, but I like XO...and I think it is just the "spicy" note whatever that is because I'm not getting an entire bottle of baby powder from XO. It's that last spicy note listed, I think. To me, this is a "daring" fragrance. Lol It's different than a lot of what I've smelled from Victoria's Secret. It's not as sweet and...universally acceptable as most of their fragrances.

This is one of the 4 bottles that I picked up at the SAS yesterday. This was a steal! I would pay full price for this without a second thought. This and dark angel by Victoria's secret are my favorite scents by VS. I typically hate 'green' scents, but this is absolutely beautiful. The two dominant notes are both notes that I love. Juicy apple and rose are the most dominant in this perfume. In the background is a soft floral and clean citrus smell. I will stock up on this while it's still on sale. My only hope is that this isn't about to be discontinued.

This is not dissimilar to other Victoria's Secret offerings, it reminds me a bit of Angels Only with more floral notes. But I have to say this is a bit different than the standard ones they produce and worth a try. It's more floral and classic and has less of that sweet vanilla or bombshell vibe if that helps. It has an English garden vibe to it as I think someone else mentioned.

I wear this when I want to smell good but not stand out. It is a basic scent with little complexity. It is fresh, a bit powdery, and has that kind of quality that can sometimes induce sneezing. It reminds me a fair amount of Marc Jacobs' dot but it more green and far less sneeze-inducing. It is a solid perfume for someone who just wants to smell like perfume but nothing special.

Fresh, clean, feminine fragrance. Very young and modern. I am an all time fan of VS Tease and tried this on sale as I was looking for something for spring and summer. Totally a delight. Light enough to wear everyday out of shower and it will not hurt yours or other's head.

I feel like this is a very juvenile scent...It is pretty and fruity and fun! I am 38 years old and I feel like I may be too old to wear this, but I think I still will :) It is pretty and girly, if you are into that type of scent!

Smells feminine and elegant -fresh roses and apple fizz are the two most prominent notes. Classy floral fragrance that is suitable or formal events. Women above the age 30 may appreciate this more than the younger generation.

This is hard to describe but it differently smells green its soft and pretty makes me think of walking through a field of flowers with fresh cut grass. Can't wait to wear this in the spring and summer. So pretty I love it!

Really reminds me of Nest Dahlia and vines. I really enjoy clean, soapy, floral scent. Light rose and green notes. Lovely and feminine. Not cheap

Fresh floral and this one was different note with other VS perfume. I smeel ivy inside this perfume. suitable for using all day
