125 Years Your Companion For Life

Swiss Army's, "125 Years Your Companion for Life" edition is an underrated spicy scent at an affordable price. Out of the bottle, you get a beautiful blend of cardamon and tonka bean notes which drys-down into a fantastic spicy scent. If you like spicy scents and want a safe blind buy, Victorinox Swiss Army's, "125 Years Your Companion for Life" is for you. In addition to the catchy name and a pleasant fragrance, the price/value is phenomenal and the bottle/cap is elegantly done. Performance of "125 Years" is moderate, lasting about 6 hours on me with a projection of arm's length. Not too shabby... The "Wow Factor" potential is there - I received glowing remarks/feedback from my girlfriend and her teenage son - something tells me I might have to keep close tabs on this one..!! Just kidding - we have a great relationship and he is developing his own collection (and he is welcome to any of mine..). Given the predominance of spicy notes, this fragrance is best suited for Fall and Winter, but light enough where you could "pull it off" in other seasons. Great fragrance... 125 Years can be worn to any event and day or night. and a great spicy scent and underrated. I would also add that "125 Years" may be best suited for a more mature audience, 35+. It is affordable enough for the younger crowd, but I see spicy fragrances best suited for more mature (and roguishly handsome) gentlemen (no offense young guys..!!). Total tally for "125 Years Your Companion for Life" is 4.1 stars out of 5 stars. The bottle rocks - the fragrance rocks - and the price/value big-time rocks..!! Definitely recommend adding to your collection - you won't be disappointed. Enjoy your day and make it count. Invest your time rather than wasting your time...

This is such a wonderful scent and very different from what everyone else is wearing. Almost a Thierry Mugler type and at a fraction of the cost and is so gorgeous! I would love to be around a man wearing this! It is so well blended u don't pick any one note but all work so well together. The feelings I am picking up are Sexy, Fresh, Worldly, Fun, Corporate, Educated, & Elegant. This is a classic, a world class, 5 star scent! PN Just found out my gorgeous nephew loves this n is the only one he loves! That says a lot to me as he is very picky n only buys the best no matter the cost plus he says this does not affect his allergies! Confirmation for me that I was right about this one. What a fab find!!

This Victorinox is a nice blend of a mild old-school aftershave splash, bittersweet cocoa,and cool citrusy spice. It does get less "old-school" and more sweet and more citrusy over time, which is nice. I like it. It's not a "spicy" scent but instead it's a cozy and freshly peppery aromatic. Good choice from Victorinox. Good for any man and for everyday use. Unfortunately, the name is ridiculously long. Can you imagine if somebody asks me what I'm wearing?!

I just received it, together with a TM Alien for the lady, This one was a blind buy and I can't say that I'm extremely satisfied. The first tone is a blast of pure hay, it's really 'different' and it took me some time to get used to it. Then it dries down kinda sweet, which is a much more pleasant experience. I initially thought there was a trace of anise in it, but looking at the notes, I know I was wrong. Sillage is low to moderate. Longevity is quite good. Conclusion: it's definitely not bad, both my girls do like it and it's quite inexpensive. It comes in a nice bottle, and the quality of ingredients is very good considering the price, but it's just not my cup of tea. Nope.

[OCT 2023] I got the hay sweetened a bit by the cocoa but it performs so mildly it smells less like a cologne and more like I just rinsed my hands with the Herbalism wash from LUSH. The cocoa also doesn't come off like cocoa, but more like white musk from The Body Shop. First mid rating I'm giving a fragrance, I think I'm more likely to smell Cool Water by Davidoff from the distance than Victorinox's 125 Years. If I wanted an outdoorsy grassy, hay-like experience I'd rather get Hermes' Un Garden Sur Le Toit, Corsica Furiosa by Parfums D'Empire, Selperniku by January Scent Project for a more gourmand take, or better yet a DSH (Dawn Spencer Hurwitz) perfume if its international shipping costs werent so extravagant. 2.5/5 Stars for Victorinox.

Citrus opening is pleasant enough, but quickly becomes a one dimensional scent of hay. Quite unpleasant.

Revisiting this before fall... First off, I don’t get any citrus in the opening. The cardamom/cacao pod/larch combo creates an intensely bitter and resinous choco up top. Sort of like when you buy a cacao bar and bite into it and think “oh this is not a sweet bar. I should’ve used this for cooking.” The hay comes on pretty quickly after the initial blast. Then about 15-20 minutes in the tonka gives it a touch of tobacco-y sweetness. The cacao is virtually gone within that first hour. I still love this for what it is. I wouldn’t say it’s a safe blind but. If you like Allure Homme, Givenchy Play Intense, MJ Legend and/or Lalique Equus I think you should try it. I’m not saying it’s a better version of those. But you might find yourself reaching for this instead. For me personally, this is a more interesting Equus. The hay is more wearable and the cacao and sweet tobacco add a little more depth. I could rotate it with AH and GPI to achieve the same vibe and not get bored. Hopefully that makes sense to one or two of you lol. Anyway thanks for reading. This one has too much of a "laundry musk" quality and not enough of anything else to make it pleasant. It might be good as a gift for teenagers. If you want a "cheapo" that has some aficionado quality to it, I'd suggest Cadillac Coupe instead. UPDATE: With my overall sensitivity being a lot lower now, I used three sprays this time and didn't get enough "laundry musk" to be irritating. However, I didn't smell enough of the cacao note to make it worthwhile. Perhaps if I spray 7 or 8 times that would allow this scent to "bloom," but I have so many other choices for this kind of thing that I think I'll pass on a bottle. The hay note sometimes seems to work but at other times it seems to clash with the cacao, so I'm not sure that I should pursue this one any further.

I blind bought this based on the composition. I'm rather intrigued with the cardamom, larch and hay combo, plus with the reviews (both positive and negative), plus with the cheap price, I decided to go for it. Starts off with citrus and cardamom, which reminds me of Aigner's Evolution. The heart's development lends it a vibe that is reminiscent of chrysanthemum tea. Finally after 1 1/2 hours, a creamy, soft woody drydown . It's moderate in both strength and projection, and on my skin 1 spray lasts up to 4 hours. The wearer of this scent seems to say that he's a practical, laid back , no-frills kind of guy. Definitely an office and all- around scent, just don't wear it if you want to go clubbing. 4/5 stars.

Quick take: Blind bought this based on how much I love Swiss Army Classic. This is not that but still I was intrigued. Even in the summer sun I am loving it. I think if you’re in your 30s or older or at old enough to have enjoyed the original Abercrombie Woods this will be right up your alley. I’ll need to wear this more to speak about it’s performance, preferred season and value. Right now though it smells like a great buy for the price.

Is a good choice for everyday use, and its price is less than what it should be. I like the smell of grapefruit, however, when the fresh hay appers, it is a bad moment to be in front of your girlfriend, I really dont find any sense on that wet hay, maybe if you ride horses, those animals will start liking you. It cannot be used to impress anyone, but what can you expect for $18. I have it and I use it.

I really like this one a lot. It's a go to fragrance for work or casual. When I do wear it to work I get a lot of compliments on this. I was quite impressed with it's longevity and sillage considering it's from Victorinox and it's quite inexpensive. I would for sure recommend this to teenagers or even middle aged men. Safe buy.

A great fragrance, solid longevity even when enduring extreme heat (it makes it shine). The smell is somehow ubiquous, but original at the same time. No chocolate smell whatsoever, but it sure smells like sweet hay with fruits. Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed. Greetings from Chile!

I purchased Swiss Army Victronix Swiss Army 125 Anniversary LTD EDT 100ml from ringabell and that really given me an awesome experience of unique fragrance with best long lasting smell.The name is very longbut the fragrance of this perfume is perfect.

There's something in the initial spray that makes me wanna gag. I take solace in the dry-down which is bearable. This fume is potent, and not subtle at all. Lasts a considerable amount of time. Not sure I fancy this on my man. Just my opinion tho

I do believe this fragrance has indeed been discontinued. But fret not! If you are missing this fragrance, try the regular version of Horizon by Davidoff. You may find that they are very similar, if not carbon copies of each other.

I got some green notes that reminds me of Ironman(Avon) but in Victorinox 125 years they are stronger in a good way giving it an elegant shape. I like it. If you want to buy it blindly go ahead. You won ́t regret.

Horses love this fragrance.I ride and horses gravitate to me when i wear this. I feel like the scarecrow.
