Flowerbomb In The Sky

I really like this! I honestly bought it for the gorgeous rainbow-finish bottle (I do love the dreamy sky scene on the box too). I spritzed this on and definitely smelled a blast of sweet citrus. The initial blast is probably my favorite. The flowers are there but not overwhelming to me, and the woodiness is minimal. I swear a smell a slightly vanilla, creaminess in the base, but I suppose that is the lily of the valley and blackcurrant doing its magic. It smells like a typical mainstream fragrance yet different. I really like it and hope the original flowerbomb is similar (I haven't really tested the original). Regarding another review calling it "scratchy," I do not find it scratchy but can see it causing a headache if sprayed too generously. EtA: someone told me it was "soapy with a bite." Eh not sure if I agree! I think it is soapier than say Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. It also kind of reminds me of Degree Sexy Intrigue (always loved that deodorant and wonder if the original Flowerbomb is the original inspiration?) . I'm looking forward to trying Flowerbomb and Flowerbomb Nectar on my skin next.

This is my all-time favorite fresh fragrance. Say it what you will, but it IS generic and that's why it is so good! No matter what season, no matter what weather, no matter what state of the month it is - it ALWAYS smells good on my skin. It never misbehaves, it never changes. It is just extremely consistent and reliable. Sometimes I just don't want cloyingly sweet fragrances and I do want something that is elegant and fresh - and Flowerbomb In The Sky is that for me. And the packaging is beautiful too. It is a safe blind buy and people will like it if you gift it to them - you can't go wrong. I also like that the lasting power is a lot better than the original Flowerbomb. I actually didn't like the original that much to be honest, it was a bit overly flowery to me.

I have tried and lovedthe original Flowerbomb on my skin, which made me look into the different variations. The first spray of In The Sky is definitely citrus dominant. I love a citrus scent, and while it was strong, there are much stronger citruses that I love, so don't let that put you off. The citrus quickly dissipates to reveal the sweet rose/patchouli that seems to be the heart of the Flowerbomb DNA. This stage is weaker, and not quite the original Flowerbomb scent but something close. About 3 hours later, there is a faint whiff of sweet floral, but no citrus or patchouli spice. Gorgeous bottle, wish they could do more like this and make them more widely available.

This is one of my blind purchases - bought it at the airport in March 2022, after my grandfather’s funeral. I don’t know why I felt that buying a perfume called “flowerbomb in the sky” for a flight is a good idea, but I guess I was just really sad. So I just bought it without testing it first, I just saw that there is grapefruit in it (my favorite note), so I was sold. How is it going? Well, how to put it... I swear something smells like musk in this perfume. It’s not listed in the notes, so it’s probably more in the direction of cat-piss from the cassis buds. On colder days, it’s not so sharp, so it feels more like musk. On warmer days, it gets sharper like the cassis buds (cat-piss, I said it again). Otherwise yes, there is grapefruit, and a weak accent of rose. The perfume would be so elegant and beautiful. Doesn’t last very long on my skin, perhaps 3 hours.

I really like the bottle but that is about it. It smells rather generic, and I was hoping for more, since some of the other fragrances in this line smell so good. Definitely a summer/spring scent. I always have toayer it with mandarin orange oil by nest and maybe a couple of my other floral sunny scents because it’s rather weak.

Finally found out about this flanker and got it. I guess I missed it bc dew was released at the same time and it was such a hit. I love this ones name but I'm unhappy because my bomb bottle didn't come with its cute little black wick. It's kind of a boring smell, so dew must have really overshadowed it

This and flower bomb nectar should switch names. Something about the gunpowder in the nectar flanker makes me think of the bomb still being in the sky.

scratchy, spring flowerbomb. smells spendy but still youthful. a little like intuition mixed with flowerbomb. the bottle is gorgeous. my husband even keeps checking it out. he doesn't find it scratchy at all. maybe i can't smell something in the mix?

Is this the same as the limited edition la vie en rose? Or is it the same as the original edt?
