Spicebomb Dark Leather

Nem szeretem a borsos vagy füszeres, bőrös illatokat, inkább az édesebekett, de ez megfogott. Úgy találkoztam vele, hogy egy híresebb oldalról rendelve kaptam hozzá egy kis 1.2ml-es testert. Soha korábban nem szagoltam meg, mert nem érdekelt az illatjegyei miatt, de ha már ezt kaptam testerben kiprobálom. Sokkat nem vártam tőle, de poitív csalodás volt, egy kellemes férfi illat volt, fás, borsos, bőrös illatjegy, leírva nem hangzik jól, de az illat engemet lenyugözött, mérsékelt szilázst produkáló. Vettem egy kisebb (50ml) kiszerelest és sokat teszteltem, hogy mivel, hogyan lehet többet kicsikarni belőle, de a legjobb 6 óra volt kifujástól a teljes eltünésig, ami nem egy túlzottan jó érték. Szomoru, hogy egy jó illatt, viszont a nem túl jó szilázs és karcsu hosszantartoságg, és viszonylag borsos ára miatt egy értelmetlen parfüm. Teljesítmény: Mérsékelt szilázs, első 30 percben jól érezhető utána egyre gyengébb és 2-3 max 4 óra után csak bőrön lehet szinte csak érezni, bőrön 1-2 óráig lehet érezni utána eltünik, nagyon ritkán csapott meg utána az illat, ruhára fujással javíthat 1 max 2 órát. Sok tesztelés után max 6 órát tudtam kifacsarni belőle... Bókok: Amellet, hogy férfias illat nem a nők kedvence, keveslik az édességrt belöle valakinek túl borsos illatú, megosztó hölgyeknél. Férfiaknál szintén megosztó valaki szereti van aki egyáltalán nem, nem ezzel a parfümmel fogod kapni a legtöbb bókot. Ár érték, végítélet: Tetszik az illatt, lehetne egy kicsit édesebb és gazdagabb illatjegyekben, kicsit kevés oldalunak és sok idő után unalmassá válik, néha néha elővéve jó lehet, de napi 2x be kell magad vele fújnód. Ár értékbe egyáltalán nem jó, 145$ 90ml-ért sok, de ha ez az illat tudna 10-12 órát, gazdagabb lenne és jobb szilázsal, én nekem megérné, de így értelmetlen a parfüm vétele, ennyiért sokkal jobb bőrös parfümöt lehet találni. Illat: 7.5/10 Szilázs: 6/10 Hosszantartosság: 6.5/10 Ár érték: 6/10

This scent might have been better off as part of a different collection because spice bomb where? This fragrance is not in your-face explosive and (at least on me) the spices are not the stars of the show (they might be unnamed extras I couldn't make out in the background) The leather is an important secondary character, but it's definitely not the protagonist. On me, this scent is someone who works during the day rolling good fresh cigars. They come home, get ready for a date somewhere low-key and unfussy, followed by a night drive. When their partner slips in close to them somewhere quiet, this is what they smell. Clean, fresh, relaxed. The tobacco is pervasive but not intrusive, and the leather shows up smooth and quiet on the dry-down. It did not give me a migraine, but I suspect a high concentration would get me there. This is not for you if you: wanted cinnamon or nutmeg wanted a lot of leather- I wasn't able to distinguish the leather smell until almost 2 hrs of wearing it wanted your scent to be noticed when you're out and about - no projection here wanted something that would last more than 3 hours (I'm being generous) I think this is best if either you or your partner have a particular preference for the scent profile because nobody else is going to smell it. If my partner put this on at bedtime after a shower, I would be taking every opportunity to get close. Unfortunately, for the price it has and the way it lasts barely 3 hrs, I couldn't justify buying it.

Picked up the 3.4oz for $100 - been wearing it non-stop. I love it, it's the classiest and most mature of the Spicebomb line-up (of which I'm a fan, except for Night Vision). V&R didn't name it Dark Leather EXTREME for a reason...people are let down based on the expectation it would hit like SB extreme (which I own/love), this isnt that, and the dry down is nothing like the OG SB. With the first spray you will get that OG Spicebomb DNA and that quickly moves to the tobacco/black pepper/frankencense/nutmeg, all of them at once - it's only at the drydown that I can pickup a hint of [some type] leather, and it certainly isn't dar; I don't get any cinnamon, at least not like that from infrared edt, it might be sitting alongside the nutmeg. The dry down is very oriental smokey sweet with a hint of leather. This smells VERY different on skin vs a tester strip and even moreso in the COLD. I've been wearing to my gym (sue me) because they have the AC CRANKED (we're in a heat wave) and it's totally different than wearing it in 80+ heat, it projects and the slliage is much bigger and lingers - Wait until winter, everyone is going to change their tune and be all over this (or not, so more bottles for me). All that said, I do wish the leather punched a bit higher, it's not floral/over ripe like Ombre and it's not as spicey/smokey as Dark Rebel Rider (and isn't band-aid/medicinal like No Limit$/Bently for men).

TLDR: I love this. Performance has gotten better. I love this. Immediately reminded me of Ferragamo red leather. Sprayed my Red leather on other arm. Very close in scent profile. Another thing they have in common is poor longevity. At least the ferragamo projects a bit, and doesn't cost a lot... Edit: Had to add that I really, really love the way this smells. Love it. I was just hoping for a smashing performer, and I'm a bit let down. Otherwise, killer scent. Love it. Edit: Might still buy a bottle. Maybe folks that have had it a while can comment on whether or not it gets better legs as it ages a little.... Edit #2: Wow I really like this. A lot. I may have to overlook what I am perceiving as performance issues and just grab a bottle anyway. Edit #3: Probably going to retract my performance statement above, as I wore this on and off the last week or so and was surprised to clock in almost 10 hours noticeably on-skin, projected a close scent bubble for about three hours, and it was still detectable after a shower. Why the change? I'm not sure, honestly? But i'm going to go full bottle. It is just a great smelling fragrance. I'll get it on sale, though.... Edit#4: Got a bottle on sale. Going to wear it a bunch and see how the performance and longevity evolve... Edit/update: After about five months of owning this, and several wearings, the performance has improved significantly.

Love this fragrance! I hear many talking about it’s lack of trail and how far it goes from your body and I have to say it really isn’t all that great if you are looking for something to wow anyone in a room with you. But as a caveat for that reason I think it makes this even better! This isn’t the type of fragrance you’d take to a party or large social gathering, I’d use this for a night out, date, and even a classroom. This is the perfect fragrance if you are looking for something to smell nice but not try to get attention. Generally with fragrances depending on where I go I will go with different options based on who’s there and what I’m trying to express, in a work setting this is perfect! School??? Perfect! Date at a fancy restaurant? Maybe not but it’s a banger for the ride home ;). Overall this is a great fragrance that is trying to do a “Spicebomb” but with a more refined and subtle edge and I think this does that perfectly! The leathery spicy mix makes it very appealing for you and whoever you want to discover you and that’s all that matters. 9/10 in my book and definitely something guys need in their collection for the right uses. :)

This is the best smelling cologne I’ve ever owned. I know it gets mixed reviews, but to me it’s incredible. There’s a tangy bite in the scent that I can’t get enough of. It’s addictive and I actually get compliments from it. I do get more compliments from Club de Nuit Precieux 1, but this one just hits the spot. It has the great Spicebomb DNA with a darker leather twist that smells way better than the usual suede-style leather in other scents. Performance is solid. It doesn’t project like the original Spicebomb or blast out like Tom Ford Ombre Leather, but it still lasts all day on my skin and stays noticeable. I think people expected a leather beast like that and got disappointed, but that’s not what this is about. To me, this is top tier. It stands above everything else in my collection. I wear it all year and really hope they keep making it. This one deserves way more love. Maybe the beastmode it on next release and everyone gets to enjoy it.

Great flanker! Got my bottle last week and had a chance to wear it a few days during the cold spell here. It really is a continuation of Infrared EDP (not Extreme, IMO). Love the leather accord here, very soft, wearable, oily slightly smokey black leather. Very high quality, excellent blend, great longevity. The projection is weird: when I thought I could not smell it on me anymore, I was getting compliment and questions what I was wearing! So, I guess if you wear it on skin, it does project well, but I was getting nose blind to it. It is definitely not a beast mode like Extreme is but I feel like Extreme (and OG) are rather dated frags at this point. So, give this one a try! I feel like this is year-round, evenings only, various occasions (casual or formal). Love it!!!

This is a very nice fragrance. Smells a bit like the original spicebomb and a lot like Bvlgari Man in Black. This performs similar to MiB as well. This is a great night out spicy leathery handsome fragrance. Going out wearing a nice leather jacket giving that bad boy vibe. For this to be noticed you have to overspray it 12-20 sprays. *TRIGGER WARNING* If you're too much a coward to spray that much then stop wearing perfume. Seriously just wear deodorant and move on. Perfume is designed to be worn. You're paying your hard earned money to be noticed with this perfume. WEAR IT! Even after overspraying you have to wait for the magic to happen. Once the perfume has time to settle and oxidize on your skin it starts to shine. It's not loud but it will last for a good 8hrs.

I got this cologne in February and loved the smell. It literally is dark leather, and to me, smells like a brand new car. Which I enjoy! Don't let videos and youtube sway you're opinion on this cologne. This is a beast during the cold winter months. It's very strong and my skin and lasts about 7 hours. It's a unique piece to my collection and is very different from the rest of the Spicebombs. I'd highly recommend this. It's definitely a mature cologne. Nothing to sweet or spicy with this. I wear this to school and it lasts the whole school day. Once the bottle runs out, I will for sure buy another one. It's such a unique piece and this is my favorite, and only Spicebomb I have. 10/10! Highly reccomend.

Spices, sweet vanilla, smooth tobacco mixed with a non-animalic leather....There's absolutely no reason to dislike this if you enjoy spicebomb extreme UNLESS you truly hate leather. The leather in this is very similar to the leather in swy leather, which I also like. I think some of the hate is strictly due to people disliking the leather or they expected something groundbreaking. By no means is this a 3.xx rated fragrance if infrared is 4.3. Imo it fully deserves to be right up there with the others (leaving out green edt). If you like swy leather, TF eau de ombre leather, and spicebomb extreme; get yourself a decant and I would be very surprised if you dislike it.

This is very nice. Surprisingly so. I am not a big fan of the Spicebomb lineup with the exception of the original EDT, but this is excellent. This reminds me of a lighter Ombre Leather with added pencil shavings, black pepper and a light touch of cinnamon. Much more wearable than Ombre Leather and/or Tuscan Leather. Long lasting, medium projection and can be worn for most occasions. Very masculine and great for all seasons except hot summer days. Office friendly if you don’t overspray but also great for a formal occasion/night out. Very underrated and under appreciated. 👍👍

I might be in the minority here but this is my favorite of the line. It is in the family of guerlain l'homme ideal/l'intense EDT, but with a V&R twist. As far as performance is concerned I agree 100% with Houseplant, this is not the type of profile you want blasting rooms, but for me at least I easily get 6+ hours as far as longevity. The dry down more than anything is heavenly. Also for those that think this is a heavy leather fragrance, it isn't. Don't get me wrong it's there but you can smell the original's dna in there. Personally I think this fragrance is sexy.

Well, I am a little disappointed about its performance, although the smell is really amazing! It has the OG touch and more spicier, but i can't detect so much the leather! So, if you like to get unnoticed this fragrance is good for you, but still if you want to leave a trace, do as I do....30 sprays and you're good to go and nock over the people on the street! It's up to you! I Too bad they messed up the perfomance, and there's a huge difference between Dark Leather and Extreme, which is a monster.....but still I love it! I love all the Spicebomb line!

What a bummer, such a beautiful cornucopia of notes. This is the best SB flanker upon the opening spray, with that said, absolutely shameful longevity and sillage. V&R has also been putting out very lackluster batches of SB Extreme (allegedly in all batches since fall of 2022) so I am not overly surprised this isn't a beast, but it should still be better than this. The only other positive besides the beautiful opening is that I can see this being suitable for slightly warmer weather than the other true SB frags in the line (SB Fresh aside).

Alot of the reviews point out lacking performance, I’d have to agree it’s not massive, but you don’t want it to be massive. It’s exactly the amount you want it to be. The longevity is good, I have no complaints. It’s not eternal but it’s enough. The projection isn’t huge, but if it was, this would be a very invasive scent. The designers knew what they wanted out of this fragrance. Definitely a pick and choose in terms of where you would wear it. Not very complex. I miss a lot of the spicy but it’s a great leather scent.

Absolutely gorgeous scent, this is probably my favorite Spicebomb to date, surpassing Extreme. I can't comment on longevity quite yet as I've only tried it on paper, but the notes are expertly blended: a stunning symphony of notes that will probably perform much better in the cooler months. I can't understand why V&R would release this in the Summer months of the vast majority of their target markets, I'm sure the ratings will start to boost back up once it gets cooler again over the next few months.

Sweet and smokey, smells exactly like when I was little in the backseat of a car while the driver chain smokes cigarettes. I definitely have a bit of a bias due to nostalgic scent, but its actually really good. It doesn't smell like cheap, stale cigarette smoke. The EDP is one you're gonna wanna let macerate for a bit (3 weeks at least) so that the alcohol can dry down a bit and the ingredients blend together. It doesn't smell great first spray fresh out the box but just give it that time.

This is dark and very interesting perhaps my personal favorite from the Spicebomb lineup. The bottle does echo the fragrance quite a bit. Dark Leather is going to get much love in the Autumn for sure. I think those not happy with performance will be changing their tunes in the colder days ahead. This fragrance has a great deal to offer I really enjoy the note stack particularly the leather and cardamom. Fantastic release from Victor & Rolf

Smells AMAZING! This would be the best in the line if it weren't for the dismal performance which makes this fragrance fall right on its face. Inexcusably weak longevity and projection. Shame on V&R, there's no excuse for this after the monster performance of the vintage SB EDT and Extreme (before the November 2022 reformulation). How does the SB Fresh EDT perform better than this EDP that literally has the word "Dark" in the name?

It is delicious. Smells a bit like Spicebomb Extreme, with Leather and kind of Tobacco. It is an addictive scent and to me it lasts at least 8 hours. After that it is still detectable but closer to the skin, up until 10-12 hours. It has something to it that reminds me of Layton Exclusif vs. Layton. A bit of an earthy smokey leathery note. Not that it's anywhere near Layton Exclusif, but just this one note...

This is incredibly similar to the sought after Gucci Pour Homme (2003) release, to the point where if you have been wanting that fragrance but can’t justify spending $$$, you will enjoy this just as much. It has an identical incense note, and the overall scent is like 85% (maybe more) the same. The fragrance community should be lauding this one as it is the incarnation of GPH. Highly recommend.

by far the best smell I have ever smelld, out of all fragrances there are, and the thing that got me into fragrance addiction, this one specifically. too bad the performance isnt as good, the sillage I mean, lasts a loong time for me. also on clothes it lasts FOREVER can be worn at any occasion at any weather any temperature, freezing cold or very hot, even to the gym.

I love this fragrance! My favourite from all the Spicebombs (I've had the classic one and the discontinued fresh). For me the performance is really good and has a very unique smell. Love that it is not generic and not trying to copy the leather from Tom Ford which generally other leather fragrances do. This is an absolute winner. My wife absolutely loves it.

Great stuff. Love it and nowadays I am not craving fragrances as I used to (I hope is a short term thing) but this I am craving very often. It's long lasting 7-8hrs and has slightly above avarage performance. It's like SB Extreme but with added nicw soft black leather accord and the sweetness is been toned down. Has nothing to do with Tom Ford Ombre Leather.

I love smell of this fragrance. I really pick up on the leather and the tobacco which seems to be high quality. I haven't been able to test it as much as I like however I can already tell that this scent doesnt project like a bomb, like it is supposed to, hence the perfume's name. If this projected strongly for the price it would be a great purchase.

Delightful fragrance! Definitely reminiscent of TF's Ombre Leather but significantly less pungent. The opening notes has that signature sweet Spicebomb DNA, however the drydown is coated with a soft leather note. This has quickly turned into my daily winter wear for both casual and office wear. I will buy this repeatedly for the unforeseeable future.

It's like a mix between the OG and Extreme, but it is more fresh and citrusy. It got a nice subtle leather smell, not too overpowering. It can easily be used year round. Also good for summer where its not too hot. Perfect for summer in Scandinavia 🌞 Perfomance is ok. Not too loud, but right in the middle. It's fine for office and work.

Tested today and really enjoyed the opening. Quite peppery and the cinnamon noticeable. As it is drying down it smells very familiar and definitely has a resemblance to Bvlgari Man In Black on my skin. I would say the leather is soft and the tobacco note is slightly sweet. A nice release perfect for autumn/winter.

This is more Man in Black than Man in Black itself😂 On my skin, has pretty good performances. Even is not the dark leather Spicebomb that we are waiting for, I think that is just simple and beautiful. Its put me in a good mood when I smell this. Probably I will buy a full bottle for the rest of the winter.

Underrated. This scent profile is mass appealing despite being a leather fragrance. For that reason, I feel like this fragrance gets overlooked by its big brother Spicebomb Extreme. Tons of compliments in the first few hours so that you start off your day or night off right. 9/10!

If you like the OG Spicebomb and Spicebomb extreme you’ll like this, as it smells to me like a middle ground between the two with some added leather notes. Definitely not a projector, it sits on the skin and doesn’t radiate far from it after a couple hours, but dang it’s nice.

Sweet leather and cozy cinnamon. Sadly isnt very strong but does last a solid amount of time. One of my favorite smells but its hard to wear, really matches certain occasions that dont happen too often. But this on a cold winter/fall night hits different 7.5/10

I tried it yesterday, and for me, it's a dark and bold touch from the OG one. I loved but if you already have the OG, it is redundant. If not, go directly to this one if you prefer to wear it for nighttime, or the OG for a fresher, almost signature scent.

I sprayed this on a card a week ago and placed it on my kitchen counter. It has been sitting there since and every time I walk past it I smell this spicy leathery goodness. I love how fresh and spicy it is with that intense leather note. YUM!

BOOM! This is definitely one of those that walks in before you do it fights my nose I like the leather in it but the pepper can be a bit much my girlfriend really likes it but I don’t think I would re buy it maybe a different version

Put simply, very leathery and less sweet Spicebomb Extreme. Is that a good thing? Hell yes. It's just how I expected it to smell and it's excellent. Love the Spicebomb DNA.

IT smells very good, mix between spicebomb extreme and ombre leather.... like ombre leather but sweet, really love it. ppl who say it doesnt perfurm are nose blind.....

To have excellent longevity and sillage you must use a neutral body lotion before spraying AND spray it also on your cloths. 100% guarantee 8+ longevity and Sillage

It’s 2024 people complaining about it being light is nose blind or maybe it’s not designed to be overpowering people think more overpowering means better it don’t.

Smells like the same leather in Ombre. And no I don’t find it redundant. I love it. Yes I have way too many leathers. But this is a must have

This is not redundant to the OG or really any other Spicebomb flanker. Dark and masculine without being old fashioned, its a great pick up.

leather marinated in sugar with a peppery note. Very masculine and mass apealing Projection is strong and it lasts me around 8 hours

This is dark, intense, complex and maybe somewhat morally ambiguous. What Jared Letho's Joker would wear or Skarsgard's Crow.

Got this in a sample pack. I love it. If you’re an older biker style dude this is for you. Very manly but older scent.
