Spicebomb Infrared

Spicebomb Infrared is what sparked my obsession with fragrances. I had never been interested in smelling alcohol, that was until I randomly decided to test this at a beauty store because the bottle looked cool, and I was bored.. WOW. I sprayed this on a paper strip, and I could NOT stop smelling it, even when I took the bus home, still smelling it. Arrived home, still smelling it. The next day? The scent was very much still in the strip, still smelling it. The spicy and fruity opening, the sweet and dark tobacco dry-down. It's just perfect for me. It's one of the best things I've ever smelled. It's incredibly unique and "dark" which is what fits my attire best. Modern, masculine, spicy, and deep. This has been and will always be one of my favorite fragrances. I'll forever praise it. The bottle is so fitting, it compliments the juice inside perfectly. As someone else has said below, this fragrance IS the color red. It's extremely underrated compared to Spicebomb Extreme. If you were debating whether to get Extreme or this, THIS ALL DAY ANY DAY. I could drink it. - Scent: 10/10 - Bottle: 9/10 (maybe don't bring this to an airport) - Performance: 8/10 (wish it projected more, but lasts very long) - Price: 9.5/10 at discounters (€44 for 90ml??! too bad it keeps going out of stock, can't blame) - Occasion: Winter & fall evening or night out. Colder spring nights maybe. ❄️🍂 - Number of sprays: 3, 4 MAX. This stuff is strong. It may not project a ton but smells potent. Overall: 9/10 😍

I just recently traded something else for this after testing it for a few months, and I absolutely love this stuff. I think there is something in the opening that I'm missing out on though (something I'm noseblind to), because I spray it on and for the first 5 minutes it's very weak, and then it gradually gets stronger thereafter. It starts off with red berries, though it's not nearly as prominent on me as others have mentioned (perhaps that is because of the aforementioned noseblind issue). You have to put your nose close to get the berry smell. This is very cinnamony-spicy. This is kind of weird, but after about an hour I actually start sweating similar to when you eat a spicy pepper. In the dry down it's all about the tobacco and a somewhat balsamic note which I assume is the benzoin note that's listed. I love that this doesn't seem to contain much coumarin/ vanilla, because vanilla tends to smell weird on me sometimes. This stuff lasts a pretty long time, I catch wafts of it 6-8 hours later and can sometimes smell it the next morning. I highly recommend this stuff. EDIT: After about a year from my previous review I do smell the opening now. I was pretty confused previously to see this listed as "fresh" as one of the accords. Not sure where the fresh is coming from, but I actually get that now. Fresh yet spicy.

I feel like an imposter for reviewing this as a female however once I tested this perfume as a part of a purchase and ever since I never forgot about it. I sadly can’t remember how it exactly smelled but it was almost like a Christmas morning to me somehow: warm and spicy, like I’m baking a cookie and I just opened the cinnamon jar. I also felt the tobacco but it wasn’t overwhelming. I can’t deny it leans on the masculine side, especially in the opening however I mostly loved the way it sat on my skin after a good half an hour passed, it was so similar to the scent I’ve been seeking for so long. It’s sexy and sensual but it’s also nostalgic and gentle somehow. It was kind of sweet but not so much and it was soft and ambery. It has a long longevity as I only sprayed once and very little yet it lasted for hours, I imagine it’d stay even longer on clothes. As it’s a smell I’m into, I’d love it very much if I smelled it on a man as well. I believe this can be unisex as well if you can work it and it suits your skin chemistry.

Had a sample of this. Absolutely love the scent. Starts out with a very similar smell to Big Red gum. Spicy cinnamon/red pepper on the opening but in a warm sweeter way. But the dry down on my skin changes the scent quite a bit. The red fruits really come into play and it turns it into a soft fruity spice. So imo, starts spicy and masculine but then almost turns unisex on the dry down. It's amazing. Performance is great. I got 9+ hrs fairly easy on skin before showering it off. I personally didn't think it was projecting much but after 2hrs of initially applying about 7 sprays, I came home and laid on the bed and my wife commented that all she could smell was Spicebomb in the room! Haha so that's impressive for sure. By the votes, it doesnt sound like that's everyone's experience. But for me, the sillage fills a regular size bedroom. Definitely moved up my list in the Spicebomb line to grab a full bottle of. Everyone loves OG and Extreme but Infrared is super underrated!

Got my bottle yesterday at Nordstrom Rack for $79.95 for a 5 oz bottle Batch # 22U01DW October 2021 was the manufacturing date. This is way different from the EDP Infrared. Longevity is really good for a EDT the sillage is really good and performance is really good too. I do 5 sprays usually for spray ons but this stuff 3 is enough. Over all very happy . This has the dna of the og but very different from og and the new edp the edp is smoother with the leather this has the tobacco that i like also so a win win. Blind buy worthy the price is awsome what can i say just 3 sprays good to go the new edp 5 sprays and smooth and good to go.Add spice to your life it will stand out from the rest of your collection Edt vs Edp are = in my book.★★★ Update October 28th The Edp smells more sweet than this and last just as long the edt this one last just a little longer and has beast mode. Remember edt for the summer edp and perfume for the winter.

One of my favourite scents in a fragrance. It's sweet, the red fruits are very prominent in this fragrance which is blended well and smoothly with the tobacco and the cinnamon. (at least those are the three notes I smell the most). This fragrance is sweet and spicy in a perfect way. One issue though is I don't really get many compliments with this fragrance despite it's alluring scent. I think the projection may be at fault for that. The projection is not awful but it fades it only has about an hour of decent projection but then it starts staying tight to the skin. You'd still smell it up very close but for the scent (which I'd say is mass-appealing) I'd want it to perform more, for everyone to smell it. The longevity is alright. It lasts maybe 6-7 hours on my skin but with minimal projection for the most part throughout. 9.5/10 Scent 7/10 Longevity 5/10 Projection

This is my first Spicebomb and wow it really has the strength and sillage of a grenade. I love the bottle design it is so cool. I bought this thinking it would be perfect for Christmas day just by looking at the notes and it indeed smells like sweet Christmas in a bottle. You don't need a lot of sprays for this, i sprayed just a few and was smelling it hours and hours later. When the sweetness finally starts to die down you can taste and smell the tobacco kind of like you get from Versace The Dreamer but with no lavender kind of smell you get from The Dreamer. My only concern is i can see this sitting waiting for next winter to come once the festive season is over but then again that means i can dive in to some of my summer scents and not have to keep replacing it because with how strong this is your bottle will last forever so great value!

Man I love this stuff! The EDT is great too and not redundant to me if you are into this profile. Oliver P. Did the OG I think and these flankers are heavily inspired by that. This adds a perfect twist of spice and cinnamon heat that I love. This one is more mature and little longer lasting than EDT. It's a bit spicier too. The EDT has some sweet freshness to it as well. You can go nose blind to this so don't think it's not pushing hard and spray on 10 extra. Let it do its magic and your nose will circle back picking it up again. Winter time, holidays, dates, evenings that are snowy and frozen, days that are brutally cold, even rainy cool days this thing is great and comforting. At night, it is soothing to smell as well to relax. Wonderful stuff, Pick it up bc it's discontinued or will be according to V and R site.

Personally this is one of my more favorite Spicebomb fragrances, I love it because it is perfect for women. It is strong enough to give a masculine vibe to it while also being sweet in a way. This cologne is perfect for stuff like late night dates, seductive interactions, and almost any moment you're around someone you like, trust me. If you're just now getting into the Spicebomb collection then I would highly recommend this one as you're first or second one to get. Unless you're new to fragrances in general, if you're more new to fragrances as a whole then I would recommend something like Nautica Voyage, Azzaro the most wanted, or even JPG Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum. Remember though, this fragrance performs it's best in sexual and intimate moments, and this can help you pull someone you want.

I'm in the minority here. I just recently fell in love with the entire Spicebomb line and Infrared EDT was the first one I tried. Most people say this is a winter/Christmas scent. I don't get that. At all. On my it smells like a more expensive Joop. Fruit and more fruit. For me, this is a Spring/Summer frag. Dry down gets a little more cinnamon so I can see why people think Christmas with this one but for me? Nah. That said, I love it. Now that it's discontinued I ordered the EDT and EDP before they're all gone. Does not project worth a darn that I can tell. Which makes it perfect for office. No one will complain over it lol. It does last a good 6-8 hours. All of this review is just for the EDT version. Love it. Not sure why they discontinued it but I'm glad I discovered it in time.

Man, I love this fragrance. I bought my bottle last year and now that its around that season again, I plan on wearing this cologne a lot more. On the top it smells sweet / cinnamony but very sharp and pungent. This is because, at its base it smells like a melody of spices blended together. So when you add some rich and flavorful fruited notes on top of a spicy base, you get something magnificently blended. Half of my friends LOVE the scent and the other half think its too strong (even though its an EDT). So, my advice is if you plan on being in an inclosed environment and you don't want to kill everyone, spray sparingly. Maybe too strong and distinct for being workplace friendly but perfect for a date night or a night out on the town.

So, I had the opportunity to choose between this and the EDP, I had the chance to get the EDT way back in '23 and I cannot for the life of me remember why I didn't pick it up xD I tried it again this year, the EDP is severely lacking something that the EDT has, that "je ne sais quoi", could it be that red fruit, almost gourmand sweetness? I have no idea, but the EDP isn't as good. I also tried Metallic Musk and Dark Leather, none of which were any good or better than OG Spicebomb EDT or even Extreme. To me this is an improvement on the OG DNA with some added sweetness and depth just like Extreme is, just a different, more playful twist. I'm giving this one a 8.5/10 because I am a giant sucker for red berry notes.

After going back and forth, reading the notes and reviews for the different flankers in this line, I landed on this one and bought some samples for my bf to try. (I’d also like to get him Extreme to try but it seems that the older formulation is the only one worth hunting down.) Infrared is so unbelievably sexy on him, absolutely addicting. I am obsessed with scents with pink pepper, cinnamon, and tobacco and I just knew this couldn’t be bad. It’s never overpowering like some scents can be, I’m not choking on it when I’m near him, but I get really pleasant whiffs of it when he’s close to me and I want to mount him immediately. This scent brings out the most primal urges in me.

I got this scent and was really disappointed with it at first. Initially, it smelled like candy - big red gum. Maceration REALLY did the trick. The drier, more masculine elements woke up. Now it feels closer to the OG Spicebomb I know and love. I'll get hints of fruit every now and again. It's very hard to describe this fragrance to those who have never smelled anything from the spicebomb line. It smells sweet and spicy. The texture is dusty and almost like fine desert sand. The red berry note will peek through, but sparingly. This is an oriental to its very bones. This'll do well at night, but I've tagged it as a morning scent as I think it'll work in a brisk morning.

This adds a playful and fruity sweetness to the original Spice Bomb, which is very welcomed. I do really enjoy the original, but it can feel a bit cold and unforgiving. It has a lack of sweetness to balance out the black pepper like spiciness. I still enjoy the Extreme the most but, it can be a bit too much viscous sweetness at times so I find it not appropriate for office or school. I feel like this is a great middle ground between those 2. I think this is a great pick up if you’re looking to get a great tobacco fragrance. Pretty great performance and longevity. I would still reach for the extreme if you were to only have 1 spicebomb, but this is a very close second.

Spicebomb Infrared is an amazing fragrance for me. It has a strong red gum opening but dries down to reveal its tobacco note. To me, Kismet Angel smells very similar to it without the red gum note. Now, when I say red gum, do NOT think it is a bad and overly synthetic smell. It is a pleasant, fun scent. It is a longevity beast and don't forget the sillage, oh, the sillage. I can stand for 30 seconds in a room and everybody can smell the nicer notes of the fragrance. When I walk past somebody, they get a huge waft of its tobacco and gum scent. It is truly a good buy, but you should wear it in colder environments and in the afternoon - nighttime. Definite 8.5-9 / 10

One of the best line from Viktor&Rolf spice bomb.I can say it the best after the extreme .This juice got me tons of compliments on a rainy nights at work as soon as my bottle arrived.it gently layered down with some rich spices,woods n red fruit with some of the old DNA kicking out the red chili in the background.You could smell the old dna and whiffs as your body heats turn up n it oozes some rich quality to that of all the spice bomb line.I think I will prefer this over the extreme . I like the extreme better but I love infra red best . Silage is pretty good with initial projection about 3 hours long. Longevity is almost 8 hrs or more .

Great fragrance to kick off fall. Super warm, spicy notes that dry down into a lovely, lasting base that makes me feel like I'm taking a nap on the couch while the snow is coming down. Tomorrow I'm going to absolutely hate that I have to shovel snow and deal with dripping wet gloves and clothes, wondering what kind of terrible decisions I made led me to this moment in time as my family sits indoors doing nothing to help me. But for today, I'm going to enjoy having a hot cider on the couch while watching reruns of 'Nick or Treat' from 2004 while my instant pot cooks a chuck roast that I could barely follow the recipe for. Pure bliss.

When I first recieved this fragrance I was so underwhelmed and thought it smelled not good at all. I had been trying to figure out how to return it for about two hours. But after just one week I had let it grow on me and now i absolutely love it and want to sniff it every chance I get. I love the red fruit, spice, cinnamon, and the darkness. It smells so cozy and warm. Currently It is one of my favorites at the moment. I bought it for only 65 US dollars (Jomashop) and absolutely think the price is amazing for this fragrance. I get around 8 hours with this and projection of 2.5-4 feet So very solid. Overall 9/10 for me

Totally in love with this fragrance, my new go-to without a doubt. It's warm and spicy with a welcoming sweetness that makes it super wearable. The longevity is great, and even the scent it leaves lingering on clothing for days is soft and delicious. It has good projection but it's not so strong as to make me hesitant to spray myself a few times. It's the spicy, warm tobacco profile that I love, but made sweeter than average and more commercially likable. That's not a bad thing at all, it's just an easy warm sexy fragrance that I'm always going to be in the mood for. Always nice to have scents like that around.

This should've been the original Spicebomb. What a fantastic winter fragrance. The red fruits and tobacco balance out the aggressive spiciness Edit/update: I am now approaching the 5 hour mark and the one spray I tried on my wrist is just about a skin scent. This is kind of bizarre because out the gate it was a pretty aggressive fragrance. I kind of expected better longevity based on how powerful it was at first. Either way, this is an AMAZING fragrance for winter. I'm one of those sacrilegious types that doesn't typically care for Spicebomb but this is hands down my favourite incarnation of that fragrance

This fragrance keeps growing on me. I love it more and more every time I smell it. That being said, I think the performance is pretty average. I get around 4 to 6 hours of decent projection with this, but that is also when it is very cold out. Great Winter and Fall fragrance. The fragrance itself is amazing with nice cinnamon notes, and a bit of a peppery spice. Sweet fragrance and dries down perfectly in my opinion, maintaining all of the spice it starts it. Overall, I love the fragrance, and the performance is just alright for the price.

This was my first fragrance that I fell in love with and which got me into this hobby to begin with. The opening is quite strong due to being an EDT however the dry down becomes a lot more enjoyable. I can't stop smelling my clothes when I'm wearing this cologne. I find that it layers particularly well with JPG Ultramale due to the sweetness of Ultramale complimenting the spiciness of Infrared. This is 110% a winter and fall fragrance, far too overpowering in the summertime. Top 3 fragrances in my current collection easily.

While I personally go noseblind to this rather fast, I absolutely adore this scent! It's warm, cozy, spicy (of the top). Overall I would describe this as getting a heartwarming hug. Descent projection and performance, but could be better. I like to spray this on my clothes since it lingers on there longer by default and love the dry down of it. Also stays on there pretty long! Not the cheapest sadly (where I bought it from) but worth the price. Wearing this mostly in winter/fall and at night for a date or some cozy event.

I love Infrared and I don't understand those who don't. It starts with an appetizing juicy fruity bubble gum-like scent, warm, sweetly spicy cinnamon/red pepper. After dry down, red berries emerge and create a soft fruity spice. It starts masculine but turns unisex after drydown. The performance is great, it stays on the skin for more than 10 hours and provides a noticeable sillage. Infrared, which has been in my collection since the day it came out, is a candidate to be the flagship in the Spicebomb series.

This fragrance got me into perfumery. I smelt it once, and I fell in love. A festive, fruity fragrance, anchored with cinnamon spice and tobacco. Unique, rich, and quite fresh. Though, the spiciness can be way too heavy for some places and weather conditions. (it's called spiceBOMB for a reason) Unfortunately, it only lasts around an hour on my skin (not sure if i'm noseblind by then) and it can come off as quite offensive. Worth a try for those who like juvenile, spicy, fruity amber fragrances.

I got a tester and I can say I will definitely be buying a full bottle, this is amazing. It smells warm, sweet and just masculine enough to be attractive while avoiding being overwhelming. This scent is the perfect date night fragrance and it last forever. I put it on I. The morning and even after going to the gym and showering once home I could still smell the cologne on my wrist. The scent opens with a warm spicy cinnamon and aromatic smell and drys down to a smooth vanilla tobacco finish.

Saw that some voters are putting Infared into the "Best Cherry Perfume" category of Fragrantica's 2022 awards...never quite picked up on it until noticing that sweaters I don't launder after every wear do indeed carry a bright(enough) cherry. I'm like many that don't easily notice the fruit after 30 minutes, but it absolutely sticks around on clothing and I'm happy with the longevity. This is well done, has a holiday feel, yes, but I won't have any issues wearing it through February.

Holy moly, I had first smelled infared in a tester from Sephora and didn’t like it too much, my brain went straight to a ton of cinnamon, but I visited my local Sephora every now and then and smelled it over and over and decided I liked it. I got a bottle a few weeks ago and I’m in love, absolute beast and is super loud smelling(in a good way). The saffron comes in super clearly and I love it, spicy warm and sweet, the perfect winter fragrance and an amazing gift for any young guy!

Skin first impressions: Warm, Spicy, Hot, Pepper fragrance with a realistic cinnamon in the background. Crazy how good this smells on skin, much better than on a tester strip. It also has a slight fruitiness and micro sweetness to keep it from smelling bitter. If you can get this for a good price, it is a solid upgrade from original Spicebomb. The OG smells simple and powdery in comparison. Projection is about average, nothing crazy. Longevity is high, this will be 8-10 hours.

Spicebomb infrared is one of my all time favourites in my collection of around 70 fragrances. The blend of the fruits, tobacco and spices is truly unbelievable and is one of the best winter fragrances I believe out there. It starts out very spicy with some fruits then slowly turns into a nice blend of tobacco spice and loses the fruity feel. The quality on this is unreal and for the price everybody should pick it up

Another Christmas gift, this time far better than Spicebomb Extreme, which i was forced to return - because of zero projection and super short lived longevity. Tested with my gf and friends. Infrared is spicier in its profile and very pleasant, there is something white, creamy, balmy and fresh (benzoin maybe) in the scent trail. Like it very much. Not a beast performer at all, but you will be noticed. Nice one.

Five words ; Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Fire candy! This stuff is the most pleasant smelling cinnamon fragrance I've ever smelled. It's hard to pick out all the different notes because of the prominent cinnamon notes, but it's a slightly sweet and spicy fragrance that is great for fall and winter. It's marketed as a men's fragrance, but could honestly work on women too. One of my faves for now!

Really impressed with this fragrance. I could tell women loved the smell of it when I walked by without them having to say a word. Longevity is great, sillage is right where you’d want it to be, and it has three stages of scent that you can really notice as it begins to dry down. For $62.99 for 90ml at my local Nordstrom rack I would say I’m very happy with this one!

I think this is the best from the line Spicebomb. I like the original but I find Infrared more versatile and compliment getter! I get good performance, about 6h and not a skin scent like many others! What i found great about is that, only my oppinion. it can be worn all year round, in summer too, but definetly on breeze nights. Awsome realease...love it 10/10!

I picked up a few samples of this out of curiosity (sometimes I like wearing comforting men's/unisex scents at bedtime). This is absolutely gorgeous. Complex, smooth, and cinnamon-forward, done well. I get cinnamon stick and not red hot candy. I might layer this with some of my "Cinnabomb" by Be Layered if I want to add a sparkling red hot cinnamon note. Yum.

Wore this today, I have had it for years. I fell in love with it again. The peppery resinous slight sweetness is what I love. I do not personally think it smells like cinnamon gum, but I get the comparison. I think this fits quite nicely in the Spicebomb line and does not disappoint in that aspect. I tried the EDP in Sephora and liked that as well.

Smells great!! In my opinion it's from the same group of perfumes such as 1 Million Prive and Stronger with You Intensely. Cinnamon bomb, this time combined with red berries. The cinnamon part definitely stands out between the two notes. Will definitely be in my winter/fall rotation to go along with Eros Flame and Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP.

I tried both versions of Infrared and came to the conclusion that the EDT is the right for me, so I bought it right away. I love the fruity opening and the dry down is incredibly sexy, I can’t stop sniffing it. I still have to test it on a date but I’m sure it will be a hit. Very wearable here in Canada for the most part of the year.

I wanted to buy Spicebomb Extreme Viktor&Rolf, but at the moment, it is quite expensive in my country, and after reading the reviews here, I settled on Spicebomb Infrared Viktor&Rolf. I don't regret my choice. Good aroma - sweet-fresh fruity fragrance. Decent durability, strength and radiance. Overall rating 8.2/10.

Spicebomb Infrared .. Very nice .. I got 10% off from the Perfume shop .. here in the UK .. gift set .. 90ml with 20ml bottle .. £70 .. It doesn't smell anything like any other fragrances I have .. I didn't think I would like it .. I don't like cinnamon in food .. but I like it in Infrared ..

Just an explosion of spicebomb. Really put the spice in spicebomb! I love it. Sweet, spicy, juicy, and overall delicious. Such a perfect winter scent for these cold, 40 degree days. I got a 5 oz bottle for $90. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 Compliment factor: 10/10 Winter Scent!

Really excellent, got a sample size from Sephora I believe. The name turned me off because I'm not usually into heavier fragrances, but this one is balanced perfectly. Very assertive, but not overwhelming. Quite unique as well, can't really think of any fragrances I've smelled like it.

Just tried a decant of this. It's one of the watmest perfumes I've ever tried. Warm, rich and sweet from fruits and spices with a bit of tobacco and benzoin forms a beautiful harmony. The combination of the notes makes it perfect for autumn and winter.

This stuff is freaking good and used to be my signature during cold weather. I don’t care what no one says this is amazing and got me so many compliments I want another bottle so bad. I’m glad this isn’t super hyped up because this is one of them ones

This is my absolute favorite men's cologne that my husband wears! I LOVE a warm, spicy cinnamon. Ultra sexy!!! To say it's a turn on is a huge understatement. I do wish longevity and sillage were a little better. This is perfect for fall and winter!

Love it! Red berries play enough sweetness up top with the cinnamon spice that punches. It's a great fragrance with plenty of performance, I like to respray anyway but it will last quite a while. Tied with the EDP as the best in the line to me.

This is insane quality for the price. If a niche name was put on it the price would be 300$ all day long. Complex of high quality and duration. Lots of character. You might not like it, but if you are into perfumes, you have to appreciate it!

Love at first sight for me. It actually got into my top 5 already (Replacing DHI for me). Lasts about 8~ hours for me, with 1-2 feet projection. Smells delicious. The red pepper with the cinnamon, a bit powdery - just amazing. 9/10 for me

a cheerful cozy scent with some notes like cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, tobacco. a bit more on the casual side but you can still wear it in formal occasions. traded my boss bottled elixir with this and i definitely prefer this one
