Chimilka

Powdery peaches... this smells like a sunset to me. It makes me feel nostalgic for a time I wasn't even alive for! Like it's 1985 and you're driving through Miami beach in a red convertible with a super hot, rich guy while the sun sets behind you and the palm trees breeze. There's a really subtle beachiness to this that I think is coming from the osmanthus. It's JUST the right amount. Overall.... just a fabulous olfactory experience - Chimilka totally paints a visual in your mind. Extremely well blended and amazing performer. Strong longevity and projection. Can't wait to grab a full bottle. Rating: 9/10

Chimilka is arguably the most elevated peach fragrance currently on the market. Far from the cloying, synthetic profiles that often dominate the category, this is a luminous and naturalistic peach that integrates seamlessly with the composition's herbal and floral heart. While the leather note adds a stunning, grounded dimension to the dry down, the overall effect remains gracefully feminine. I envision the Chimilka woman as bold, confident, and playfully seductive. It is an utterly charming blend, and one I’m proud to have in my permanent collection.

Wholly goodness, I love this and usually hate peach scents! Very modern. Very unique but not too weird that your audience would find you too controversial. Selling only 100mls is controversial though. Way to lose customers Vilhelm. I have no interest or storage room to buy 100ml anything.

Chimilka is sweeter more round Ganymede and Bois Imperial type perfume, just more lady like not unisex. I have Zara Leather Fewer, and it’s more close to Chimilka, airy fresh and little sweet. Great scent.

Not a lot of reviews on this. But this is a BEAUTIFUL white peach with a very smooth creamy leathery drydown. Addictive.

Ugh this is delicious! A mojito with a soft peach! But this isn't the kind of fragrance where individual notes jump out at you, but rather the notes attempt to dissect a whole beautiful scent. The peach isn't the inner sweet fruit, but rather the powdery, fuzzy, thick, sweet skin of a peach, as what I can imagine the velvet notes are describing. The sweetness isn't overbearing, it's the sweet pure white sugar rim you get on the glass of a mojito. I can only assume the mojito vibe is also being created by the osmanthus, and moss. The saffron note is subtle, giving it a warm fill. Not the usual warm spice, that evokes the inside of a smoky bar, or morrocan spice market, but just as if you've sat down in a random spot outside, and bathed in the direct sunlight till you got so hot you had to go find shade. There is definitely a musky base that's giving it a thickness and richness, that I very much appreciate. Personally, I'm not getting much of the leather note directly, but I can kind of see what people mean. To me it's not a strong leather smell, it's a very sweet, gentle, and worn leather, more like a suede, that's had great care taken care of it, but has fully aired out the potent leather smell. It's only crime is not being made in a 50ml because I never buy 100s. Vilhelm please make 50mls of this!! Also the longevity is great but the sillage is a bit underwhelming for the price :(

Absolutely in love with this fragrance! Literally juiciest peach you can find in perfumery! UPD: the sillage and the base disappointed me, being too similar to Amberful and Ganymede, too boring already. Nonetheless, love it thanks to the start <3

Seconding helloneighbor. I would say this is a truly unisex perfume, I enjoy it on myself and would enjoy it on the opposite sex too. I really want to try this in some 95 degree weather, I feel like this could be a pretty seductive scent.

Unisex. To me it smells like a non-alcoholic mojito. Peach scent definitely sticks most of the way through the scents life. Its nice but can be on the sweeter cloying side though.

A beginner-friendly Ganymede-type with a touch of mass-market vibe. It has its place, why not

This smelled fine but wasn’t interesting enough for me to reach for more than 2x.

I was disappointed with this one because I love peach and enjoy leather notes. Unfortunately I feel the peach and leather compete hard for dominance. It would have been much more elegant to let one shine and have the other peaking through. It just feels a bit overpowering - firmly aligned with the trend for “beast mode” fragrances, which I’m sick to death of. Immortelle is present, which is an interesting note, if sometimes polarizing, but it gives Ganymede its distinctive personality and so I can see the comparisons to it here.

Chimilka to me is nothing more than Ganymede’s undercover agent - a sly operative in peach dress, sent to seduce unsuspecting noses under the guise of Vilhelm’s “fresh new direction.” First, it bats its olfactory lashes, whispers some fruity nonsense into your ear, and you like a fool begin to believe this might be something interesting and gentle. Until the consultant, wearing that cryptic smile, escorts you to Marc-Antoine Barrois. You’re still grinning like an idiot, thinking, “Oh, how lovely, I liked Chimilka, why the sudden switch to its ideological nemesis?” Then you get in the car. And the gas attack begins. The next day (two showers and one mental exorcism later) it’s still there, clinging to your aura like a karmic debt. For some, Ganymede is celestial nobility, interstellar suede. For me, it’s musky doom, dirty pelts, my existential punishment. I’m willing to believe there’s a cult worshipping Gany-milkas from the other side of the sensory spectrum. But middle ground? Highly unlikely. This one’s strictly love or chemical warfare.

According to most of the reviews I read below this seems to lean more on the feminine side, but I see this is a totally unisex perfume, as a guy I'd totally wear it. I was surprised to not see this getting compared to No. 4 Neon by Thomas Kosmala. To my nose it's in the same "summer refreshing icecream vibe" realm. Would definitely buy if the price were a bit lower.

Juicy peach up top and then the dust rolls in. This has a real heavy duty dose of dusty notes: osmanthus, immortelle, saffron, oof! Very bold choice. It's still very pretty, if you like a dry powdery scent, which I do - but unsure if I'm walking around smelling like a thrift store leather purse to passersby.

Such a wonderful, compliment getting summer fragrance. Hubby can’t get enough. I have a large collection and he asked me to wear this 2 days in a row 😝. Perfection in a bottle!

This is a clone of syn.ergy scentologia, maybe slightly similar to Loumari Porthole but definitely cannot smell leather in here. Not a ganymede clone, I hate ganymede
