Scent of Seoul

I just got a sample of this with my order of Dracula from the same house. Smells wonderful, like a fresh cola scent. It has a bay rum feeling without going too far with it. As it dries down, I can get woody undertones, but they don't overtake the aromatics. This is fresh and very pleasant to wear. I imagine it would perform well in the heat. I'd say this could be worn both casually or formally, but I think it translates to more of a casual / semi-formal smell. Modern classy + gentlemanly. Fantastic offering. 9/10

This one was very sour, almost like a lemon. Its alright for its purpose, but its overall smell isn't entirely pleasant to be around in huge outings.

Scent of Seoul 🇰🇷 🏯 🌸 Villa Erbatium, scents de Seoul is a green, spicy, and genuinely delicious surprise. 🌿✨ The opening has this cool, almost minty cola vibe like a modern and leaning masculine fragrance, which I didn't expect. As it develops, hinoki, cedar, and sandalwood emerge beautifully alongside a soft, smoky tobacco sweetness. Nothing aggressive, here everything is elegant and refined. The sillage is moderate; you'll catch it on an embrace, but it stays close to the skin. Longevity, however, is better than you'd expect. Setting: Casual, composed, and effortlessly unisex. Villa Erbatium continues to intrigue me, and almost everything I have tried is of superior quality and has very well-balanced fragrances. I read this description, and they nailed it: The scent is described as fresh, green, and woody, offering a calm, serene atmosphere blending natural elements like bamboo with modern city vibes.

the first half hour reminds me a bit much of pinesol, but soon after the drydown turns into a minty tobacco with a slightly anise flavored sweet-herbal undertone. A little spicy but predominantly a wood-forward fougere. Really like the bay and tobacco pairing, but that tangy licorice sweetness puts me off a bit, just on personal preference for such things.
