Choco Exclusif

Sampling Vivamor Parfums Choco Exclusif, from their recently-released collection of 5, a follow-up to their original collection of 11 from last year, and as its name suggests, it’s chocolate-rich, to my nose, in the way of dry cocoa powder mixed with citruses and a vaguely sweeter based, described officials as a pancakes accord, maple syrup, and vanilla. It feels delicately and carefully put together, not heavy-handed in any one respect. I for one find too much citrus against chocolate to be unpleasant, but the very slight touch in this blend, particularly just in the opening, and it has a slightly spicy quality throughout that gives it some class. I love this one, just as with Caramel Pop, for its realistic, well-conceived, and highly enjoyable gourmand blend, which also performs well. The full Vivamor line is carried not only on the house website but also by great boutiques like Perfumology, and I love that the pricing for this new quintet ($125) is lower than the original collection ($145), still at extrait concentration in 100ml bottle size. 8 out of 10

Let me start off by saying that I generally do not like chocolate, coffee, or overly gourmand/edible fragrances. This is not an overly edible chocolate, the chocolate is a dusty powdery cacao powder type of chocolate. I dont pull the coffee at all on my skin, but I do get the bread/pancake note, but not the syrupy note. With the blood orange though, it takes me back to my childhood when my dad would bring home those Terry's Chocolate Oranges that peel apart like an orange. I like it... Idk if I would wear it all the time, but I like it for nostalgic purposes and will be getting a larger decant or full size just for that.

Ohh this is good! The initial spray is reminiscent of Chocolate Greedy’s dusty cocoa opening, but Choco Exclusif quickly morphs into a rich chocolatey -orangey- but also and most importantly- woody scent. The wood smells like a dry cedar to my nose, nicely balanced with the light sweetness of the orange and chocolate. I don’t find this fragrance to be gourmand- it really isn't sweet- and is perfectly balanced in the middle unisex. I love it on me, but I would equally love it on a man. I am excited to see how this develops over time- since I have heard that Vivamore/Navitus increase in longevity and projection over time.

Although I get no coffee or pancakes and syrup, this is beautiful very dark chocolate that develops in to a 🍊strong blood orange and🍦 vanilla scent. It has projection and lasts a long time. Giving those around you a treat! I feel like it can be worn all year round.. it's not a heavy or cloying fragrance. I thought I would love caramel pop more from this vivamor collection, but I love this one just as much! It's a delicious semi sweet dark chocolate orange vanilla Godiva chocolate 🍫. I want a backup bottle 😅

Ok, I love this fragrance. It’s so good. But I SWEAR there’s oud in this. It sprays on rich chocolate (with a tinge of citrus) and then turns into a sweet chocolaty oud. As this dries down, I get some of the pancake accord (very buttery and sticky sweet) but I still feel like there has to be oud in here. It does this barn yard thing in the mid on my skin that only an oud could do. That said, I will definitely be adding this to my collection. It’s giving genderless decadence and I’m here for it all.

This so sooo good !! It's a very delicious sweet & decadent chocolate scent. Opens up fresh & mellowed but few minutes later the mid notes and maple syrup come thru beautifully. So delicious! The coffee & chocolate are very well blended that nothing sticks out. Can't wait to get a full bottle of this goodness. Edit (2days later) got my bottle lol, its too good!

This is dark chocolate with a bit of blood orange for lift, a hint of coffee for additional depth and vanilla/maple for sweetness. If Chocolate Queen had a tall, sexy, fine older brother that you can't stop looking at, this is him.👀 🍫 ☕️🤌🏾 Perfectly unisex, unmistakably grown and sexy. Long lasting on moisturized skin.

I don’t know about everyone else, but the pancake note is the most noticeable smell I pick up from this fragrance. Pancake mixed with hints of powdery dry chocolate and coffee. With that said this fragrance bangs! I love it. It is unique and for the price you can’t beat it.

Very 1st chocolate fragrance after sampling Mind Game’s Double Attack and Narcotica’s Dulce Diablo & I have to say for the price and quality, it’s a sleeper. This is slowly becoming a signature for me. Excited to try more from this house!

I get every note, the chocolate, pancakes, coffee, vanilla etc... sitting out back while my husband smokes a cigar. There’s something Smokey going on. I’m not mad, I’m just saying. I really like this frag for this time of year.

This scent is subtle sexy and lasts all day. The chocolate is not overly sweet like a chocolate bar but it's here but the scent is perfumey.

This is Spectacular❤! As it says, it's chocolate and vanilla pancakes with a bit of a floral background. There's a hint of a citrus too, but it's overpowered by the Gorgeous sweet chocolate and vanilla. This will warm anyone up and make anyone want to stand closer to you. It smells exactly like powdered cacao (the kind used for baking) and powdered vanilla sugar (also used for baking). Once i spray it, i'm hooked. The perfumer is Sidonie Lancesseur, who has made some of the best gourmand fragrances on the market. And this is one of them. A weird thing with it is that in the air, it's 100% chocolate and vanilla pancakes. But when i smell it close up (basically nose touching arm), it smells like a churchy incense and white wine. In fact, all up close it's Very similar to Xerjoff Zefiro, but sweeter. And i'm Not complaining. I love Zefiro too. It's just that Zefiro is a very different scent than chocolate and vanilla pancake. I imagine any woman wearing this will smell delightful. I might call it a bit feminine leaning in the air. Being a beautiful gourmand with an alluring, delicate feel/vibe to it. But then again, up close it's kind of leaning masculine, with a powerful incense and white wine accord. I Love that duality. It's so interesting and smells So good either way. I'd say Fall, Winter, and spring (but not too overpowering to be a summer evening/night scent either). Day or night time, really. Casual, Semi formal and romantic/date setting. If you want someone to "take a bite out of you", this will get the job done. Any age and gender (although on skin, it may be different for different people). Personal score 9.5/10. It's 100% full bottle worthy, and i got a bottle. I payed €110 including shipping. I simply Need it in my life. Even on days i'm by my self, i will spray it on my arms just because its Such a good smell. I only wish it had Slightly less powder scent. It's all powdered ingredients, so to speak.

Honestly my favorite chocolate forward fragrance ever. My one issue with Choco Exclusif is that it is SO hard to find a circumstance to wear it. Subjectively as a smell Its delicious. That chocolate comes in heavy with that maple syrup and you can almost feel the zest of those citruses being expressed over top of this pile of sugar. 8/10 SSB: Sample

This is different than I was expecting, but not bad. When I sprayed it, my first thought was that it smelled more woody than chocolatey. But, perhaps that is just the darkness of the chocolate along with some bitter coffee notes(?). Not very sweet smelling at all in the beginning to me. Dry down gets a bit sweeter, but still is a slightly more masculine leaning scent on my skin. The slight sweetness on the drydown does not clearly smell like pancakes or syrup to me, which is good because I'm not a fan of strong maple syrup notes in perfumery. Not a safe blind buy if you are looking for a pure sweet chocolate scent. if you like a drier darker chocolate, then this may be a great choice.

Not bad, but it just smells like a more tolerable version of Pierre Guillaume Musc Maori, which I can't stand. It's a citrusy chocolate, but as it dries, it develops this sharp mustiness that I'm not a fan of. The vanilla comes through and softens it a bit after a few hours, but it’s still not great for me. I don’t get any coffee, maple sap, or pancakes unfortunately. It has minimal sillage and lasts about 5 hours.

The coffee in this is very smokey and irritating. It smells alright. Nothing to write home about. Average sillage and longevity.

Initial spray is quite chocolatey and good, but then after that the snell kind of reminds of new car smell, which I hate

This is great. I purchased this perfume for basically 88 dollars using the code “new30”. As for the fragrance, this is very very unique. I’ve never smelled a chocolate perfume like this but with that being said I only have two in my collection right now. I would describe this as a “hotel” lobby chocolate”. It literally smells like you’ve been baking a rich semi-sweet chocolate in an expensive hotel lobby. I don’t pick up on any of the Madagascan vanilla, pancakes accord, or maple syrup, which is what made me want to buy it in the first place I have to admit. I also pick up on the citrus note from the Blood Orange in the opening, but it slowly fades with time. Projection, sillage, and longevity are moderate for me. But with that being said, I’m really happy with my purchase! Different for sure. This is not too sweet or feminine I’d say this is a unisex leaning fragrance. I’m going to let it macerate in a dark space for a month and see what happens.

Woah this is so good!! First spray will give you a blast of chocolate mixed with a zesty orange citrus — at this point, it’s kinda reminding me of Sphinx Chocolate Citronique and Navitus Empyreal. Once the citrus goes away (within a few minutes), I’m left with a beautiful creamy dark chocolate mixed with roasted coffee beans. The orange is still there but way in the background and there’s a creeping woodiness. I’m not getting the maple syrup or pancake, but there’s definitely chocolate/cocoa & a burntness which I guess comes from the coffee beans. I think this is super sexy and great for cold weather and cozy days. Fair warning- it’s not that sweet, especially in the dry down and because of that, I think some people might think this means masculine. I personally think it’s perfectly unisex, as long as you like an orangey dark chocolate & coffee fragrance

Lovely and very complex and yummy yet sophisticated fragrance BUT I must say, Oakcha came out with a Candy Collection recently, and they have a new scent called Choco Break, inspired by a KitKat bar, and it smells very very very similar to this for only $30 bucks. Even down to the complexitiy, ONLY stand difference is that the Oakcha fragrance has a cedarwood note and Choco Exclusif does not. Both beautiful.

Hated Caramel Pop but really enjoy this one, it doesn’t smell synthetic and artificial. This one is blended well and is worth its price tag in the line.

Smells like a terry’s chocolate orange in the opening and gets smoky and resinous in the dry down, absolutely lovely fragrance
