Cheeky Alice

I've owned all of the Alice scents, but the only ones that I kept within my possession are the original, NAUGHTY, along with this one, CHEEKY. Cheeky is, in a round about way, a fresher and fruitier, less musky, less complex take on the original. It has good longevity, like the original and it is the closest in character to the original - overall. It can also still be purchased for a bargain online. Unlike the original. This is brighter than Naughty. It has a prominent zesty peachy note. It has something in common with Allure eau de parfum. That, Naughty and Muse de Rochas are the other scents this one puts me in mind of. This is very easy going, a no brainer. Easy to wear but smells special. Lasts well and has an intimate projection, never overpowering. Appropriate for anytime of the year, though possibly better suited to (casual?) daytime, spring it autumn wear. I love the tea-like and fresh nuance of Cheeky. It is a beautiful scent.

This smells simular to naughty alice but a bit fresher. It still have a warm creamy drydown but it is not at all cloying and is quite comforting. I think I prefer this to the original definately worth a sniff.

Very floral, I love it, I feel like I can smell some lilac in it too. Old ladies perfumes are definitely my favorite

Allow me to introduce Estee Lauder Pleasure's younger cousin, Lily: Lily is outdoorsy and likes to go hiking and pet bunny rabbits while her slightly older cousin, Pleasure, is starting to get in to lipstick and boys. This Lily does not fully relate to and is of the opinion that Pleasures is being bit of a teenage dramaqueen. Ever so innocent and sincere, Lily feels a lot of life's guilty pleasures can stand to wait a little while, while she takes a moment to lay barefeet in the grass among the blooming lilys and peonies and watch as the clouds drift by. If smell were a soundtrack then the soundtrack to Lily's life would be Cheeky Alice. Only Alice wouldn't be cheeky at all, she would be pure and perfectly innocent.

I am so surprised no one has made a comparison to this with Noa by Cacharel. Hear me out as Noa is one of my all time favourite perfumes. They share some strong notes! I put Alice on this morning after a while of not wearing it and was racking my brain trying to figure out what it was similar too. It kept wafting around me with the breeze coming through my window on a car drive and then...lightbulb. I sprayed Noa on the other wrist when I got home. They are so similar at so many points on skin for me! Cacharel obviously far more nuanced especially on opening, and Cheeky Alice is the lighter and less complicated sibling. I will wear this far more often now!
