Cheeky Alice

I've owned all of the Alice scents, but the only ones that I kept within my possession are the original, NAUGHTY, along with this one, CHEEKY. Cheeky is, in a round about way, a fresher and fruitier, less musky, less complex take on the original. It has good longevity, like the original and it is the closest in character to the original - overall. It can also still be purchased for a bargain online. Unlike the original. This is brighter than Naughty. It has a prominent zesty peachy note. It has something in common with Allure eau de parfum. That, Naughty and Muse de Rochas are the other scents this one puts me in mind of. This is very easy going, a no brainer. Easy to wear but smells special. Lasts well and has an intimate projection, never overpowering. Appropriate for anytime of the year, though possibly better suited to (casual?) daytime, spring it autumn wear. I love the tea-like and fresh nuance of Cheeky. It is a beautiful scent.

This smells simular to naughty alice but a bit fresher. It still have a warm creamy drydown but it is not at all cloying and is quite comforting. I think I prefer this to the original definately worth a sniff.

Very floral, I love it, I feel like I can smell some lilac in it too. Old ladies perfumes are definitely my favorite

Allow me to introduce Estee Lauder Pleasure's younger cousin, Lily: Lily is outdoorsy and likes to go hiking and pet bunny rabbits while her slightly older cousin, Pleasure, is starting to get in to lipstick and boys. This Lily does not fully relate to and is of the opinion that Pleasures is being bit of a teenage dramaqueen. Ever so innocent and sincere, Lily feels a lot of life's guilty pleasures can stand to wait a little while, while she takes a moment to lay barefeet in the grass among the blooming lilys and peonies and watch as the clouds drift by. If smell were a soundtrack then the soundtrack to Lily's life would be Cheeky Alice. Only Alice wouldn't be cheeky at all, she would be pure and perfectly innocent.

I am so surprised no one has made a comparison to this with Noa by Cacharel. Hear me out as Noa is one of my all time favourite perfumes. They share some strong notes! I put Alice on this morning after a while of not wearing it and was racking my brain trying to figure out what it was similar too. It kept wafting around me with the breeze coming through my window on a car drive and then...lightbulb. I sprayed Noa on the other wrist when I got home. They are so similar at so many points on skin for me! Cacharel obviously far more nuanced especially on opening, and Cheeky Alice is the lighter and less complicated sibling. I will wear this far more often now!

I am a fan of her perfumes, and this will be my last purchase from this brand due to poor treatment from VW. This perfume is beautiful, light, elegant, and youthful. The first impression is powdery, much like iris or violet with soft British rose. Once sprayed onto the skin, the first impression changes, perhaps this is the lily of the valley I notice, as I find it rare to come across LOTV in perfumes that are nice. Once the scent warms on your skin, the rose notes appear sweeter and warmer with slight hints of musk and wood.

if you like your florals. i do. not really getting woody or much musk under the peony and lily...but on my skin the notes all work well together. (there's no overpowering powder or violets in this - it does not smell like NA)... This is soft and flowery and simple...really lovely. it lasts a few hours on me. and yes, it is gentle and quiet. i wouldn't call it cheeky...unless you mean rosey cheeks and a smile. perfect for daytime. it smells like sunshine. and IMO the best of the Alice's.

Powdery soft and sweet, Cheeky Alice could appear youthful or mature depending on the wearer. In my opinion, it is a gentle, powdery fragrance and a safe choice for day wear. I feel those who find Kenzo Flower too overwhelming, or who panic at the mention of a “powderbomb” fragrance could give Cheeky Alice a go. She has a lot more to offer, even if it is a short-lived experience.

A magnificent scent! The first impression was a soft gentle floral. I could smell the Lily of The Valley, so enchanting! Then came the elegant rose and peony with the woody note slowly coming in with soft musk coming up slowly. The middle and base notes beautifully warm up. A mature version of Naughty Alice ;)

I love the scent, first the Lily of the Valley scent is more present but then the rose gets stronger. It's only a pity that it doesn't last very long on my skin. After 2 hours there is just a slight scent of wooden rose left. I think it's a very feminine EDT.

That's a very lovely scent if you like lily of the valley as it's the main note that I'm getting. I'm not sure how come this perfume got it's name Cheeky as to me it strikes as more a Classy scent.

It is a pleasant floral but I was hoping for it to be a bit woodier. It would really benefit from a dash of some spice to mix it up and make it a bit more worthy of the 'Cheeky ' in its namesake.

Not at all what I was expecting looking at the accord pyramid above (note to self, these are often misleading). Its more of a woody musk (50%) with an equal amount of powderiness and a crisper floral top. Lily of the valley dominates the blend and for me this note usually sticks out as too synthetic. More elegant than I was expecting even if a little dull. I got this purely to complete my collection and because I am a fan of Vivienne Westwood and love the presentation. Office sexy but missing an element of surprise. My least favourite of the Alices.

if this is "the sexier older sister" of the Naughty Alice then the other must be very mild and tame. it’s much muskier than i preferred yet i wouldn’t use the word musk to describe this perfume only. it’s a mix of a musk and something resembling fruity?... it does say ‘juicy plum’ on the sample packet. the rose is here but subtle enough to not disturb others. and peony.. yeah it’s there... i layered a milk perfume on top and like it much better.

Cheeky? Hardly She's a well-behaved, well brought-up and conservative prim and proper English lady. It's Mary Poppins, Alice (as in Alice in Wonderland. I would not be surprised if Vivienne Westwood wears this herself. Far from being a slut (as in Boudoir) Cheeky Alice is a lovely floral fragrance that exudes Anglo elegance. It's rather simple and not at all complex, so it won't make a statement the way Boudoir does. It's a skin scent that sits close to the skin and can be detected only by you. The first spritz is a lily of the valley. She is green, white-floral and fresh, like they took lilies and put them into water and let them cool in a greenhouse or flower shop. I've smelled this before. This is a very bland green floral opening that reminds me of gardens and floral shops, nothing that screams cheeky, naughty, or flirty (I've just listed the names of the other flankers) Cheeky is my favorite of the series. This is a well composed floral. The lilies come and go and in comes the rose and peony, as delicate as can be, a bit powdery but definitely a rose that appeals to my tastes. She is an English Rose. Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth I as a young monarch. The peony smells like a rose but this is not terribly aromatic so as a rose lover I wish there was more sillage/more of that aroma. The dry down is musky and woodsy but soft as the florals. This is not a good woodsy scent. The flowers are the key players. If you like floral scents and especially attracted to rose perfumes, this should be your bag. It's romantic, sweet, and very pretty. It reminds me of scents that are as lady like and rose-centered as Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and at times the peony-powder of Violet Eyes by Elizabeth Taylor. Sure this is mature but it can be worn by young girls who are novices to floral scents because it makes a sweet and easy intro to florals. This perfume makes me feel so happy, so British and so conservative, for you know, when you want to impress on a job interview or a date. This scent can be worn at the office and just about anywhere because it's not a heavy hitter. Pretty! And that bottle! Just love the bottle and it makes an attractive addition to my dresser table collection. Alright, I'm done. Thank you Vivienne.

This is really pretty and is a reasonable price aswell. I've actually found fragrances like this difficult to find,.. dainty, feminine, slightly powdery floral fragrances are my absolute fave for during the day but sadly I've been a little disappointed in alot that I've tried, they have either had terrible sillage (I expect soft sillage with these sorts of fragrances but most that I've tried have been horrendous and are undetectable after a few minutes) or they have been far too expensive for a casual day time fragrance, this however has pretty good sillage and longetivity and is a really reasonable price, to my nose it is mainly just a soft musky/slightly powdery floral scent but it is the kind of scent that I've been looking for. I tried naughty alice before this one because I really thought that I would prefer it as violet is one of my favourite notes, but it just didn't do it for me, ive had a specific idea of the kind of scent i want for some time and that one wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but this one could easily contain violet and if I hadn't of known any better I would have assumed that it did, it's a very pastel like scent just like alot of powdery violet/rose combos have, it is totally up my alley and has gone straight to the top of my want list. A few perfumes that this is similar to are Lolita lempicka l'eau en blanc and Versace baby rose jeans, even though they all have slightly different notes this shares a big similarity to both of these, all 3 are very dainty pretty little fragrances. I actually thought Naughty alice would be more similar to those than this one tbh but as lovely as it was it just wasn't as pretty as this, I think Naughty alice is more of a serious scent compared to this one, it's still dainty and feminine but not quite as girly as I was hoping for x

Cheeky Alice is a little similar to Naughty Alice, but not nearly as bold nor as lasting. This fragrance is more on the floral side of things and is more musky than it is powdery. Opening with a dewy-fresh blend of lily of the valley and pink roses, Cheeky Alice smelt promising, like something I wouldn't mind adding to my collection. I was quite taken with its sweetness and thankful that the peony wasn't overly dominant on my skin, (as peony and I don't usually get along). On my skin Cheeky Alice was a soft, sweet and slightly musky floral scent, great for Spring and Summer, or even as a bedtime scent. I was thoroughly enjoying wearing Cheeky Alice but was admittedly disappointed when I discovered that it had poor lasting power. Three hours wear was all I managed before I had an overwhelming desire to re-apply. Not only did this fragrance struggle to last, but the scent pyramid was unfortunately quite one-dimensional, meaning that it didn't transcend past that fresh and musky blend of lily of the valley and rose. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain that Cheeky Alice is a limited edition. In Australia it appears to be sold in many discount chemists and perfumeries, like it's on its way out. I might still buy this fragrance if I see it for a bargain, but for now I'm not too keen on buying such a short lasting fragrance. I would tire quickly of having to re-apply it every few hours.

Tested this today and it reminded me of Gucci Guilty Intense or Gucci Guilty because it smells powdery and plain but there is something in there that gives it a little depth. I think it is nice but for me it was too similar in style to Gucci Guilty or Jennifer Lopez My Glow which I have so I haven't bothered with this. It didn't spray on my skin so I don't know if it lasts but it is nice and a nice follow on from Naughty Alice. This is perfect for people who want a powdery innocent smell that doesn't smell like baby powder I found this had enough depth to it for the style of perfume that it is. I know people talk about the notes in this but I could really only smell the base notes and I like it. Many will find it boring but some of these style of perfumes I quite like for when you only want something suttle that won't upset everyone around you. I am not sure if you could wear this in hot weather I think it might turn a little smelly more for a cooler day.

Cheeky Alice is the little fresher sister of Naughty Alice. Whereas I wear Naughty Alice all year because of its coziness Cheeky Alice is more suitable for spring and summertime. It's of a sparkling floral lightness that lifts my mood. This scent has a bright and creamy profile with a very soft rose inside. The florals give a delicate powdery sweetness which is well balanced with the musk and the woods in the base. Overall a lovely scent that lies close to the skin.

I love musk and I love peonies, so of course this is really enjoyable for me. Good quality on both notes. Not getting much lily of the valley, which is probably for the better I'm not a huge fan although probably more because i get 90s perfume associations. This feels really fresh, clean, soft, inoffensive. Great one for the office, for anyone who still bothers to go in! Or to a brunch with your Stepford wife friends. Barely getting any rose.

For me this perfume stuck out from the others in VW's 'Alice' collection. After being lead in by advertising in magazines I had initially thought I wanted 'Naughty Alice' but in comparison 'Cheeky Alice' has a fresher floral scent which I love. This perfume works well on my skin and for a EDT seems to last well too, I can't help but sniff it on my wrists when wearing it. My boyfriend likes this perfume on me too.

I only got this by chance..I was looking for a sample of Naughty Alice and could only find the 2 "sisters" together..The weird thing is that I actually like Cheeky Alice more! It's soft, gentle and very feminine. Powdery and floral but not in a musty-fusty way..I also think it'd be good in any season..but I wish it had a little more staying power.

Nothing out of the ordinary, but nice. I hate to use the term generic, but there is nothing ground breaking here, it's def a simple sweet flowery scent. At least it doesn't smell cheap. It does have a very slight plasticy note that I'm on the fence with. Thumbs sideways on this one but the longevity is good. And the bottle is nice.

i had high expectations for this perfume it in comparison i expected more depth and body for this and naughty alice gave me this the bottle isnt as nice as naughty alice , it gave me a headache i didnt try it on the skin but out of the two naughty alice is deffinately better there was no thought or depth to this perfume

Cheeky Alice is very light, not too sweet, but indeed floral. I don't find it a sexy fragrance, but it is feminine. Great for everyday wear. It's pleasant, but does not last long, unfortunately. I prefer fragrances that stand out a little, this is just a bit too simple for me.

Compared to Naughty Alice, this is a much softer scent with the lily blend. Its not to strong just suttle on the skin. My only dislike is that it only lasts for a couple of hours in which you have to apply again. but a beautiful light perfume for summer :)

I've decided not to purchase this one as it has a top note of lily of the valley. Old ladies perfume yuck. And having looked at the reviews it's not ppls fav VW scent. I wonder what naughty Alice smells like. Hopefully not lily of the valley 😩

I agree this is a lovely scent. More like Classy Alice. So, is naughty Alice. I have and like both. Sweet,powdery and ladylike. Soft but long lasting scent. I am considering adding flirty Alice to my little collection. Nice perfumes.

A pretty soft floral, very nicely done, but I wish it would project more, the lily of the valley is well done, overall a nice charming scent.Light, but not boring, I find it more floral than the Guilty line.

My 8yr old son said 'it smells of your smell mummy, but even nicer'. How can I not buy it after that! It's a gentle, soft, intimate, smell- clean, but not in a fresh bright way. It has lasted all day too.

Starts off as a creamy lily of the valley + florals scent. 1/2 hr later the scent becomes vanilla-like and the florals fade as does the fragrance. I like it better that naughty alice.

Sweet, simple floral that's very sophisticated. I got a fruiyt note from this that isn't listed also. Not the most unique scent, but very wearable.

This scent is fruitier and sweeter than the notes listed. Strange.
