Eternal Veil

This 100% reminds me of powdery, sweet, tart candies in the opening. The dry down gets fluffy, airy and earthy with those tart notes lingering in the background. I quite like this.

I agree with a previous reviewer about this smelling similar to GDT celeste, but its less thick, less sweet- and the performance isn't quite as good. I will stick with Celeste.

REALITY : You just drank a glass of 2% milk and that sweet aftertaste hits you. Powdery. Smooth. Milky. Purple. Someone on social media said this smelled like misty mountains and drinking tea in the fog...................🤔 Umm... I TRIED to see it, but hey, that's cool if you do. REVIEW 🦪: This fragrance somehow convinced me there was milk in it. There isn't. And yet here we are. The tonka bean comes through in a way that feels incredibly lactonic. Not heavy cream. Not condensed milk. Not vanilla ice cream. More like the sweetness that lingers after a sip of 2% milk. I know I'm the weird sister in the lactonic community because I almost never agree with what people call "milky." Most recommendations smell too sweet, too coconutty, or too artificial. Eternal Veil contains no milk notes whatsoever, yet it's one of the most convincing lactonic fragrances I've smelled. 7/10. The milk is imaginary, but my nose refuses to accept that. My authority: I come from a gallon-a-week milk household.

Smells like a better version of Celeste Giardini Di Toscana with some Xerjoff Dama Bianca in there too. Not sure if it’s FB worthy for me but overall it’s nice and pleasant but a skin scent for me. Maybe it’ll perform better as the weather warms up so I’ll keep testing my decant of it.

In no way does this smell like Black Tie..it does remind me of Balle Rouge though and I happen to love that one. I got this full bottle for peanuts in a declutter and I’m going to keep it...for now, lol.
