Fluffy Cake

pandan lovers, gather round. this is for you. the clear focus is the smooth, green vanilla-ness of pandan, it’s balanced with a wisp of milky jasmine and grounded with cozy sandalwood. she’s pandan-centric, but the other notes are only here to bring out its beauty. feels like taking a sniff of the electric green bottle of pandan extract before pouring some onto freshly baked vanilla cake.

Very, very sweet, creamy, sandalwood is there, jasmine is there, but its almost like a barely spiced dessert. Unique perfume, unique brand. Couldnt decide between this and Golden Hour, but finally picked Golden Hour

This smells like a lactonic floral with pandan added! Absolutely brings your brain to what Thailand smells like in the north.

This perfume absolutely slaps. It smells just like cracking open that bottle of neon green butterfly brand pandan extract. The jasmine meshes really well and isn't overpowering at all. When I'm moving, I'm not specifically picking out individual milk, sandalwood, or vanilla accords, but they combine beautifully to give a soft fluffy roundness to this fragrance. It's sweet, but not candy sweet. The only thing I'm not crazy about is when I'm sitting still, the milk accord kind of "settles" inside my personal bubble and does turn a little sour. That effect really only lasts until you hit the drydown, then it's not noticeable at all. Not great lasting power though, it was only about 3-4 hours.

Sweet and laconic. Unfortunately the white florals go screechy on me and ruin the fluffy cake illusion. This was gorgeous on my roommate. I will say it doesn’t smell bad, just not my vibe with the loud white florals.

Saccharine sweet, synthetic white florals in a vat of rancid milk. I don’t understand how this can work on anyone—a headache inducing opening and a drydown that forced me to scrub it off.

The scent is similar to that of a pandan cake. Sandalwood and lactonic scents, as well as an ambiguous floral scent—like the raw material of the phenyl group found in pandan, also has a sweet scent like when jasmine tea is brewed. It also has the smell of perm agent, as other fragrances of the same brand are. It has very good power. I don't want to smell it up close, but it's okay when smelled from a distance.

I like this perfume and it's concept but I don't love the initial spray. The florals are slightly screechy and sour the milk until the dry down. The dry down is beautiful and for that reason I did get it but it's not my favorite of their perfumes. Golden hour is probably my fave.
