Jasmin Sacre Eau de Parfum

Im not really a fan of Jasmine, however I tried this on at Scentexplore and I absolutely love it. It's not a typical heady Jasmine. It's somewhat airy and the labdanum helps as well. It's also not super musky. Sillage and projection are quite decent, longevity about 4 hours. If you're he type to shy away from jasmine like I do, definitely get your nose on this Unfortunately this only comes in 100ml and I dont buy such sizes anymore. If this eventually comes out in 10ml or 30ml I definitely would jump on it.

Screechy, potent, squeaky clean jasmine. Choking in its horror, yet incredibly boring. Hard pass.

Imagine wandering the sun-drenched streets of Grasse on an unseasonably warm, humid afternoon. The air hangs heavy, infused with the sweetness of jasmine and rose drifting from the neighborhood gardens. A saffron-hued house catches your eye, its faded walls glowing gold beneath the cloudless sky. Drawn by a flicker of intrigue, you slip through the open garden gate and step into the courtyard. At first, it feels like a secret Eden—jasmine vines cascade up the façade in fragrant waves, and rose bushes swell with blooms the size of teacups. But as your eyes adjust, the beauty unravels. The garden is not thriving; it is decaying in plain sight. Branches twist wild and unchecked, roses sag under their own weight, their petals browned at the edges. The air is motionless, suffocating. Dust clings to every surface—leaves dulled, blossoms choked, the scent turned thick and cloying. Weeds split the cobbled path like veins, and the house’s paint peels in brittle curls. A creak above. Then—a tile slips, crashes through the jasmine, and explodes on the stone below. A mushrooming cloud of dust erupts, enveloping you. You gasp. The sweetness turns into decay. The silence is sinister. You flee, lungs burning, heart pounding. That, exactly, is what this perfume smells like. This one is a scrubber for me, with no redeeming qualities.

Oh dear, this is not good. Apologies Welton but this is everything a perfume shouldn’t be. :( it reminds me of those fragrances in pound shops with weird names, like a body spray full of screechy synthetics. It actually stings my skin when I apply it and I wear perfume every singe day. It’s a hyper synthetic smell that has something similar to Charlie red going on. A little bit aquatic, something like hedione, a sweetness that feels juvenile and all together I think I want to un-wear this sample I just sprayed on myself. Ouch literally ouch.

Fruity floral done elegantly. A bouquet of jasmines, sweet tones of neroli with a very subtle hint of rose. Slightly musky, a little clean. But what stands out for me here is the beautiful apricot scent. I’ve always loved the smell of apricots and Jasmin Sacre delivered on this.

Fruits more than florals, think Born in Roma opening. And as expected, proceeds with a fine elegant subtle shift. Pretty dense, personally prefer the type for a summer evening night time.
