Sweet orange blossom face punch. I agree with the review below me that it’s giving me L’interdit. But L’interdit turned up to 11. L’interdit written in neon colors which I have to admit I’m into. But, LI mostly is a grape like syrupy orange flower while this has that but also a more interesting backbone of powdery almond heliotrope, sandalwood, tonka, and a pinch of skanky cumin. Normally, I despise cumin in a fragrance but I actually don’t mind it in this which is shocking to me. I’m picturing a really fun, loud, girl wearing neon yellow and pink just coming home after being out all night dancing (the barely perceptible cumin) at an 80s themed club. Thinking Sarah Jessica Parker type in Girls Just Want To Have Fun. I haven’t tried Sintra yet but I’m definitely going to. This one is better that Parle Moi which was literally just orange blossom and sugar and a bit flat. Oriana didn’t wow me either but to each their own. I think PDM is a bit overrated in some ways but perhaps I haven’t worn them enough. This orange blossom sweet juice is lively, playful, but still sophisticated an 80’s Gurl in neon and big hair or a 70’s starlet in satin and a fur coat that’s calling all her fancy friends to a wild party that last two days and drinks champagne in the pool. This is really fun and girly and is definitely going into the “want it” pile. There is something special about this house. There fragrances just speak to me and quite frankly they’re the most complimented fragrances I own. They just do something amazing on my skin and never fail to project. I can be wearing some fancy Tom Ford or Maison Kirkdijan no one says a thing. I wear one of these and people stop me on the street.

The first time I tried this perfume was on a hot and humid summer's day and after applying it the scent of huge, juicy white florals surrounding me was this close to being overwhelming. So lush, so gorgeous, so thick, so...billowy. It was rich and lovely and I could smell it several hours later, even after a shower. Fast forward a couple of months into a fall cold snap, and I'm looking for the perfect perfume to wear before heading out to a busy day. I grab And the World is Yours and spray it, expecting the florals again, but get honey! Thick, syrupy, honey with warm spice like...cinnamon? In the car I'm surrounded by this lush, gorgeous, perfect honeyed scent. It is so similar to a dessert we've had at a local Ethiopian restaurant, of warm fried dough sprinkled with powdered sugar, dusted with cinnamon and then drenched with honey. It sounds unappealingly sweet but it isn't, it's a perfect end to the meal. The dough is crisp and light, the honey is thin (from the warmth I guess) and the powdered sugar and cinnamon mix together beautifully. In the perfume, I can smell the flowers - but in the background now - taking a backseat to the honey show. Breathtaking. What a marvelous perfume.

I wish this scent was a big release that came in large bottles. I loved it so much I used up my vile way to fast and realized this fragrance wasn’t economical. It is a very complex smell, like a more elegant and graceful version of Lagerfield classic. The package of the skyline of the city at night certainly fits the mood of this fragrance. It smells like the big city at 3:00 am when things start to slow down, lights turn off, bars close and people go home. Certainly unisex but leans more feminine. The blast of orange gives it a sort of antique smell, maybe like the cleaning fluid used to polish wood, but not harsh or astringent whatsoever. The vanilla and tonka gives it a creamyness like a sugar free orange creamsicle. It is a very seductive scent. And it clings to your clothes like crazy. I work a pretty sweaty greasy job and when I got him I could still smell it on my clothes. It’s a womderfull fragrance that I wish they would offer up in a larger size. Works best as a nighttime scent and has a lounge vibe.

I'm not sure I've tried anything by A Lab on Fire but the name Dominique Ropion is one I'm familiar with, and with this release And The World Is Yours for Luckyscent's 15th anniversary series, I was inclined to nab one of 10ml bottles released as part of this limited collection. ATWIY is an interesting intersection of subgenres: fresh via neroli and orange blossom, sweet via vanilla and tonka and tolu balsam, woody with sandalwood, and perhaps most of all, floral with heliotrope and, to a lesser degree rose. I don't detect the cumin at all, frankly, unless its use is so subtle that my nose is not up to the task. It's a strong performer at a reasonable price and I could see myself reaching for it year-round, the neroli and orange blossom more ideal for warmer weather but the vanilla and tolu balsm more ideal for cooler weather. Usually, so much heliotrope might not be as enjoyable for me, but ATWIY is well-blended to the point that the composition simply plays well on my skin. 8 out of 10

I dabbed this on in the fall before getting into an Uber and literally thought my rating would go down from how strong this scent is. Revisiting it months later, And The World Is Yours REALLY grew on me. I'm a honeysuckle sucker, and the combination with the florals and tonka/vanilla duo is simply *chefs kiss* And do I detect a slight cherry note? Feels really opulent - the type of scent I would mist on while getting ready in my silk robe at my vanity (my life would be perfect if I had room for a vanity). Still evaluating, but I'm really enjoying my sample!! EDIT: Can't stop thinking about this... I either need another sample or need to buy the full bottle (why are there no decants or smaller sizes!). I can see myself loving this on a summer night out as much as I've been loving it this winter. What a beautiful scent - Ropion is a genius

Definitely neroli transforming into orange blossom and everything the scent description promises...to me this is the fragrance of feeling lighter than air...bottomless...boundless energy. It is stunning...like a bolt of lightning that leaves behind the feeling of a warm, hazy sunset in Laguna Beach. It does not remind me of Alien, thank goodness. I love Alien, but it's not exactly attention-grabbing anymore. Alien has a deepy, woody undertone, and it's soprano jasmine to me. And the World is Yours is orange blossom...heady, seductive, and brilliantly euphoric.

Definitely a love from me, it’s different! Agreed that it is strong at first, but quickly mellows out and turns very gourmandy. Vanilla, orange blossom and cumin (I like this note, adds interest and depth) remain for the duration. Long-lasting on skin and even longer on clothes. I think this has many more facets than L’interdit and is really not that similar (I have both). One thing to note is that the juice of ATWIY has turned darker over time (have the 2018 release which is in a clear spray bottle) but scent remains unchanged.

If you love orange blossom this is it! Longevity is excellent, past 6 hours on me and longer on clothing. So well put together and every note blends well with the others. Orange blossom and neroli are in the front and center, Tonka bean and Helitrope come out on me in the dry down. Funny I sprayed this last night before bed and it’s still on me this morning. Perfect scent for spring and summer. I really like this house, they make excellent scents in MHO. Highly recommend 10/10.

This became a "love" for me at about the two hour mark. Before that, it was a little much. That may come down to one too many sprays - that little bottle's got an atomizer like a fire hose! The dry down here is all lovely orange blossom. And performance is impressive. As someone who wants to get their nose on as many different fragrances as possible, the 10ml bottle sold via LuckyScent was perfect. I wish there was more available at that size.

OMG I am obsessed with this gorgeous, spicy, almost syrupy orange blossom (but don't be confused and think it is anything like LDBS- it's not). The cumin will be polarizing, so you will either love it or hate it, but to my nose, it just smells like a beautiful incense was added to the mix. If you're an orange blossom lover, it is definitely worth trying, and is a strong statement scent with great projection and longevity.

I am still trying to put into words my full review but comparing my new full bottle to my 10ml from 2022 - I think it's been pretty obviously reformulated based on the issues they had with sourcing ingredients and the newer IFRA ingredient regulations. This wouldn't hurt so much if the price also wasn't insane. My 10ml cost me $36 from Luckyscent and now there is no travel option and 50ml is $240.

This reminds me a lot of Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed. They share a similar marshmallow sweetness, but where MSJROOB turns the gourmand note into a dirty-soap skin note, And the World Is Yours takes the edible and gives it an airy floral heart. It's lovely, but requires less than a spray - the bottle does have a fire hose atomizer!

I was waiting for this to be restocked but the price is now $240! Up from $98. It has 20 more mL and that doesn’t justify that kind of price increase. If you really love this fragrance just buy L’interdit edp. It’s not as strong but it doesn’t have cumin.

Upon first spray, a fuller flushed out rendition of Alien involving orange blossom as the floral. The amber musk sweet accord is also in here in a super rich version. Youll love this if you like Alien or Supreme Bouquet.

To my nose, this smells a bit like Alien and Amarige had a big beautiful baby. This is a substantial fragrance, quite lovely, with massive longevity. I'm glad I snagged a bottle of this limited edition.

Is the 2020 the same as the 2018 release?I never go to smell the 2018 batch. Smells very like Sintra by Memo.

Received my Lucky Scent order yesterday and decided to wear “And The World is Yours” to a Heavy Metal concert last night. I should add that this was the first time in maybe 3 or 4 decades that I’ve been to a metal show, but my best friend’s friend is the guitarist in the band and that’s how I ended up there — a middle-aged college professor wearing a summer dress and sandals, surrounded by other middle aged people dressed in black, leather jackets, lots of heavy makeup, stilettos and boots, tats and beer bellies. Anyway, I had fun, much to my surprise, and it turned out I made the perfect scent choice. This concert was outside in an industrial part of the city, ATWIY fit so perfectly. I was partly in awe of the spectacle on stage and equal parts admiring and enjoying my new blind buy. Another unusual thing that happened is that I wore my new perfume without looking at the notes. I really thought I was wearing a sweet jasmine perfume, quite positive that it had some vanilla and musk but not able to pull out additional notes. The World opens loud and strong, and throughout the evening I kept on picking it up. (For an accurate list of notes, see above). I’m not sure I would consider wearing this in closed spaces, but on a hot summer night, at a heavy metal concert, this was perfect.

I love neroli and orange blossom so I had to try this. From the first blast I would say this perfume is very "rounded." No cumin, just straight orange blossom absolute with heliotrope and vanilla. It does smell strong. It doesn't change much on my skin, it only becomes muskier over time. It smells pretty different from the orange blossom perfumes that I have tried in the past. I expected a golden, honeyed perfume but for some reason it reminds me of grey autumn skies. Good for cold weather.

Spicy and photorealistic orange blossom unfurls into a powdery vanilla-forward gourmand, in the same vein as LDBS (newer formulation) and Sintra. Stays candy sweet for the remainder of the scent's duration. Major projector - my small sample is simply beaming up at me from the crook of elbow. Looks like it'll last all day intil I decide to scrub it off. Can be worn all year round, fairly appealing scent.

at first smell, this was not a hit to me because it felt a little too vintage, too mature. but as i wore it on my skin, it became much more creamy, buttery and the orange blossom melded into a gorgeous vanilla flower garden-y essence. it's fun, it has a lot of personality, and it doesn't shy away from going full-force with the orange blossom whatsoever. great all-around spring/summer scent by ALOF!

On me this smells like a well-blended, powdery orange blossom scent. It's sweet but not over-the-top. Definitely unisex. I get all the listed notes but the orange blossom is the star. I'm surprised how well the cumin works. Overall it's nice. I don't get the "freshly cleaned gas station bathroom" vibe another reviewer mentioned unless I *really* think about it lol.

Blind bought. Thought it smelled incredible. Sadly, it is overpowering for me. Suffocates me. Too much of a good thing. Incredible longevity. Gave it away to a friend who will hopefully enjoy it more than I did.

Surprisingly spicy and sweet on first spray on skin. Dry down is more floral and vanilla.

OK so I have very mixed feelings about this one. I've had to wear it for several days to sort out my feelings and I'm still undecided. This is STRONG, to the point of being nearly overwhelming, even my 3-year old commented on it and kids of that age rarely notice, let alone comment on perfumes. And it is SWEET, absolutely cloying and artificial to begin with, I absolutely get the synthetic grape soda note that everyone else is describing. I'm not into super-sweet fragrances so I thought this was a total miss at first, threw it in the back of a drawer and didn't touch it again for 4 years (got it when it first came out in 2018)...however...once that initial crazy blast calms down (which takes maybe an hour) the result is smooth, sweet but not strangling, really lovely and feminine and youthful glow. I get honey and orange blossom and vanilla and all the yummy stuff, and it's nice catching a whiff of it here and there on pillowcases. I have the feeling that it smells different in the sillage than it does on the wearer. The longevity and strength are absolutely nuclear, it is an extrait, so I still can't decide if I am willing to put up with that long & aggressive opening to get to the good part.

I like this fragrance a lot. I will admit two things: 1) in the opening it does smell like the orange commercial bathroom cleaner mentioned below. 2) midway it smells like baby wipes as also mentioned below. However it’s in a pleasing way; very unique and full of personality. It’s more feminine to me but still unisex. I love it! It’s a compliment getter for me. It’s warm and unique- definitely a neroli bomb. It’s perfect for the freezing weather here. Would I suggest it as blind buy? Absolutely not. Did I blind buy it? Yep...

To me it opens harsh and disturbing. I feel it as a chemical grape juice. In 5-7 minutes it settles down to being less chemical, more honey+rose. Plus a bit of cumin. It can definitely choke in summer. It is not safe for a blind buy. It probably can be more interesting and intriguing on a man than on a woman. Update after complete dry down: it got a lot more subtle. Like if Memo created their version of Chopard Casmir

Feels a bit familiar in an old fashioned way

Oh honey, no. I had very high hopes for this one, as I'm a fan of Ropion's work. But this smelled like a spun-sugar mess. I had a hard time detecting the florals or the powder. Remember those early days when you'd just discovered alcohol and you and your friends drank that overly sweet stuff that made you puke the next morning? This is reminiscent of that. Gave me such a headache, I wanted to scrub it off my skin. I was astonished at how cloying it was given that its creator was also behind the masterpiece that is Carnal Flower. Maybe I just need to give it another chance, but as for now, I'm regretting buying this...

Orange blossom and neroli soaked in a vanilla caramel musk. Similar to the toffee note in A Lab on Fire's Mon Musc a Moi by the same perfumer, except it's sweeter and more intense in this one. No cumin detectable to me, which is disappointing to me since I need something to interrupt the sweetness and to make it a little more interesting for me. Too sweet for me overall to be able to enjoy it. But if you love floral gourmands, this is probably gonna be a hit!

Fragrances like this are why I thought I hated orange blossom for a long time. The orange blossom/neroli is unbelievably sweet and cloying to the point where it’s oppressive. On top of that, as another reviewer mentioned, there’s this terrible artificial grape smell. You know when candy is “grape” flavored but it just sort of tastes like purple and sugar? Same thing here. I struggled to smell any other notes in this composition. This one isn’t for me.

i’m not saying i’ve never been angered by a fragrance before. i am saying that if it has happened, i don’t recall it. but this made me irrationally angry. literally - why tf would someone put CUMIN in this? CUMIN. and there’s so much of it. and it’s so out of balance with the other notes. why? just... why? my brow is furrowed. my spirit is vexed. i need answers.

This smells like a gas station bathroom that was just cleaned with a cheap neon orange cleanser. I'm not sure where people are getting Alien from...So disappointed

The addition of cumin is so illogical and inharmonious. It ruins the entire composition. Would you put ketchup on a birthday cake? Like..

Wow! I can't believe how much I'm enjoying this. The word lovely keeps popping into my brain. I didn't know what to expect with this, but I'm happily surprised. My nose isn't trained to discern between neroli and orange blossom, but this starts off with sweet oranges and a tiny bit of burning rubber (have no idea where that's coming from). Within minutes I can detect the heliotrope and vanilla and they swirl into an achingly sweet orange candy. Something that you would have eaten as a child. And while that sounds cheap, the smell is luxurious and dreamy. It's a bit marshmallowy and it's divine! Something is reading a bit incensey to me, just in the background. This has the same DNA as WWDIPIS even though they smell nothing alike. I can just feel it slightly in the opening. This is very warm on my skin but glimpses of coolness pop up once in a while. I'm not a big floral person and this is a bit heady for me, but I absolutely love it! Luckily for me there is no cumin on my skin, no rose either. In the end I smell a beautiful vanilla/orange marshmallow, blended so well. There are no hard edges. It's fluffy and intoxicating. I'm so happy I tried this. I wouldn't normally pick something like this for myself. I want to wear this in Hawaii as I watch the sunset on a deserted beach. This feels like a special occasion scent to me and fits perfectly with Ropion's inspiration. *FYI an 18ml bottle is offered as a GWP with any purchase from the brand. As of 5/9/2020 it's still available in case anyone missed out on this.

And the World Is Yours is an interesting fragrance (Ropion, after all). It has a fascinating progression that started out as sweet, warm, almost marshmallow supported by warm musk (neither clean nor dirty) then went a bit green, switched between the two once more, then went higher and more searingly radiant, like cold air. I had the thought that people will smell the sillage or projection of this and absolutely love it, even though I hadn't fallen hard for it close up - like it's intended to smell better from afar than near your nose. So interesting the way it developed; starting out warm, going cool. Once it's past the sweet opening, the green, etc., It reaches an altitude/octave similar to Monsillage Vol 870 YUL-CDG, or Carillon Pour Un Ange or Aziyade -- up in that range. Style-wise, to me it's like an inverted pyramid -- the warm and cozy in the topnote, the cool (and longlasting) in the base note. Other fragrances I like that seem to have that inverted pyramid to a lesser or greater extent -- Beaufort Lignum Vitae, Auphorie Iris Macchiato, and Tauer Les Années 25. None of these smell like And the World is Yours; I'm talking structural similarity only. I would definitely try it on again, however I was defeated by some chemicals in it -- sneezing, dripping nose, headache, scratchy eyes -- the full array. (I'm pretty sensitive to a lot of perfumes; YMMV.) Ingredient list is pretty basic, obviously there's a lot more to this formula.

My first sniff of this was genuinely time-stopping. I imagined what it would smell like before I actually got my hands on it, and it is very much along the lines of what your brain can muster up. But it is SO much more. It is so so so beautiful. I am not a fan of super sweet scents, they can be a little much for me. But this is just undeniably gorgeous--I really don't have words to describe the sublime beauty that this fragrance possesses. It is dangerous because it is just addictive and delicious.... and how can something smell so annoyingly good? It is orange blossom, the most succulent luscious orange blossom you can think of, beautifully embraced by vanilla, tonka, heliotrope, balsams. And the result is a creamy, sun-filled, mouth-watering, totally addictive fragrance. I really love this and its not really something I'd normally choose for myself but jeesh, I am suckered in and loving every moment. Also, it definitely has a similar musk/vanilla note that is present in "Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed" formally known as "Mon Musc a Moi" and that was a fragrance I wasn't crazy about, way too much gooey vanilla and toffee. This is a hint of that, but it reached complete metamorphosis to a gorgeous, sunny, sexy, orange blossom creation. I love it. In love. That is all.

Imagine a thick golden syrup full of strong Irresistible pheromones; completely unisex. (CONTRADICTION AHEAD) Smells rich but like annoying rich... like over spending and over indulging type of rich with normal every day stuff. Smells like always ordering the most expensive thing on the menu and not caring what it is. Smells like being home on a lazy day and making yourself a hefty caviar with white bread sandwich instead of a regular ham and cheese one. Smells like destroying your expensive home during a couples dispute then making love like in the MR. & MRS. SMITH movie. Usually, someone who’d do all those ridiculous things would be very douchey and annoying TO ME and I thought this scent would be very annoying as well but I love it. I’m not into scents like these and it won me over so give it a chance. Update: this was hard to find for a while and now it’s back and price went way up! Still repurchased though.

Received this as part of the WWDIS Discovery Set. This is another charming floral creation from Dominique Ropion, who is responsible for 3 of the 7 fragrances in the set. Of the 3, this one shares a familiar signature, likely stemming from the heliotrope-vanilla-tonka bean-amber/tolu balsam accord that gives it a soft, creamy warmth. This feels comforting and pretty, balancing powdery florals with a gentle sweetness that never becomes heavy or cloying. There is a timeless quality to it that immediately struck me as familiar. Like several other reviewers have mentioned, it induces memories of fragrances from decades past. Rather than smelling dated, it captures the warmth and charm of a bygone era in a way that feels surprisingly modern and wearable today.

Oooft. Okay. I purchased a sample and dabbed a decent amount on the back of my hand. Immediately, with my hand few inches away from my face, I could smell grape soda... orange maybe? Hand to my nose and I get a vivid image of a bean and cheese burrito... I think it's the cumin mixed with the baby wipes powdery vibe. All I can think of is a fluorescent purple grape soda can, and a foil wrapped warm bean and cheese burrito in a powdery flour tortilla. Bizarre I know... but that's all I can think of. I'll stick with What We Do In Paris Is Secret :)

I wonder about the silage and longevity. I have a keen sense of smell but I don’t find this lasting very long on my skin or clothing. I wonder, since I purchased a bottle from the second batch that was released by Luckyscent (after the first sold out)—is this one weaker? Did the formula change? Regardless, I very much enjoy this scent and am pleased to find an orange perfume that smells authentically citric without being too cloying or nauseating as some Neroli scents can be, to me. Warm and pretty and rich. It’s lovely, but I want more.

This is interesting. As an orange blossom lover, it is a very realistic one with spice added. The cumin adds a “womanly” warmth to the orange blossom. This is a woman under an orange tree in Spring that is doused in neroli and allowed to meld all this honeyed aroma with natural skin scent into the evening....it is sweet and warming and rich. The heliotrope and tonka lends a creaminess and a base that keep the fragrance on an almost gourmand ride for hours. Definitely noticeable and sensual.

The firsf half hour of this is beautiful - it smells EXACTLY like when I make an orange blossom pound cake with orange blossom icing, with a slight hint of spice. After that, unfortunately, the most prominent note on my skin is the cumin and secondarily tonka, with everything else taking a far back seat. This has the effect of sort of smelling like dirty skin to me, like bad patch. If the first half hour stayed, this would be my forever fragrance. As it is its a pass.

The scent is pretty, it has a very intense orange blossom note with tonka /vanillic touches. It's a very nice scent, but the problem I have with it, is that on my skin this is almost identical to Girl Of Now, and also similar to Burberry London which are also a creations of Dominique Ropion. I will use my sample but I already have those other scents, no need for redundancy.

Something familiar about this one, almost has a “holiday” vibe to it without being a full on holiday scent. I’d imagine this is something a person who’s favorite holiday is Christmas would wear the rest of the year to blend in with society and then save the full on Christmas scent for the actual holiday season.

Yeah, no. Smells to me like baby wipes mixed with someone's breath who just ate chocolate. Sickly sweet with an off, artificial note I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it just doesn't work with my body chemistry, but it actually smells kind of gross rather than merely unpleasing. Hard pass.

I can't figure it out? This is very strong, fruity, overpowering..I smell the balsamic and soon after heavy heliotrope, quite obnoxious. If by fruit, you mean mutant grape Popsicle.. then yes, I smell that too. Headache in a bottle! This reminds me of Jerome Russell body glitter from the 90's.

Spicy Cummin and orange, well this is a strange one, usually in England at least they hate any Indian smelling fragrance and usually report it to the eniviromental health dept for offensive. But then knwoing the Brits they secretly covet but slag off that they did not invent!

Smells very close to Alien in the opening. Then the cumin kicks in...and then lingers. BO for hours. EDIT: After the 5 hour mark, it softens into a creamy orange. Not sure the dry down is worth dealing with the prolonged cumin note.
