Beautiful woody floral musk with high quality ingredients. The scent opens with notes of cardamom, strawberry, pepper and citrus. The firmly floral heart is gardenia and rose. The perfume settles into a powdery woody musk base highlighted by oud, vanilla, synthetic musk, cedar, sandalwood and tonka bean. Unlike what it’s name suggests there’s no incense here. The happy, pleasant scent leans slightly feminine, has moderate to strong sillage and good longevity. Familiar but regal. Enjoy!

I can't stop smelling my wrist, so soft, sweet and luxurious

Luban is a very nice woody amber fragrance with some oud. The oud here is not barnyard or “dirty.” I also get some sweetness probably from strawberry and vanilla, but this fragrance is neither fruity nor overly sweet. All of the notes are very well blended and it’s hard to distinguish any one particular note. This fragrance is unmistakably Widian (ex. Montal fragrances have a specific DNA that many people can tell that they are smelling a Montal) if you know the Widian DNA from Sahara, Black I, Aswan, Black V etc., a luxurious expensive smelling scent. The performance is moderate with good longevity on clothes and moderate sillage. I have very cool skin and a lot of scents do not have strong sillage on me if I spray on my skin directly, so on other people may project better.

Just received my bottle. It is a soft creamy fragrance that leans more feminine than unisex. It kinda reminds me of their previous release, Rose Arabia White. However, I am disappointed in the packaging, which is almost identical to that of another UAE brand called Louzan. They sell 100ml perfume bottles in the same packaging for a fraction of the price!

It is nice but barely detectable...seems Rather pointless to pay the premium price

This smells veryyy smoky on me. I don’t love it. It’s almost like vintage church incense, but I don’t feel purified. I can see how people are referencing flowers but given that this almost smells like soot, the minor feminine elements make my stomach turn a bit. I think my mom might enjoy it more. We’ll see.

Seeing what the 1°C, 33°F does to the harsh almost metal spice Luban opening, for a half an hour straight up overwhelming iron. Not affected by the cold, everything else is, get the mid process sped up a bit, bringing out the nutty woods first, warm pepper and then slowly, but like an hour in almost: uncommon floral accord, then vanilla, roses and musk last. Starts super-niche, weighty somberness dark, then noticeable as it happens rather fast total lane switch to plenty joyful and sophisticated.

That Widian frankinsence. Humble florals and fruits, bitter, smokey and profoundly snug. Opens dark, intense, bit medicinal. Switches lanes quite a few times, as most Widians, 30 minutes in warm smoke starts to settle bringing out the subtle Strawberry, Vanilla as well as the slight flower notes. Base notes create a gentle woody incense scent entity, cozy for days and days r there. Big time Widian signature, pretty much blown away by the house everytime.

This is one of the best from the Widian house. It’s the kind of fragrance you’d want to gate keep. Subtle vanilla that isn’t in-your-face. The strawberry adds a unique fruity fresh sweetness in the background, and on top of that it’s perfectly powdery. Performance is moderate. Nothing beasty but longevity is pretty solid.

Creamy, jammy rose with vanilla, peach and lactonic strawberry candy drops. Lots of bitter orange peel and jasmine when sniffed up close. Beautiful contemporary facets mixed with a vintage, slightly powdery feel but with lackluster performance.

👀 This sounds really nice. Exclusive to the Middle East until September I heard. Can’t wait to try it!
