Aftertaste

It is a haunting November night. The fog curls around your legs as you slither down a London alleyway. You knock an ancient iron door and enter into an intimate jazz club. Although it is late, the room is lively, with a hazy atmosphere to match the music dancing throughout the room. She's sitting in the corner, surrounded by chaos yet she herself is grounded and still. Wrapped in leather, eyes lined with charcoal, silver and gold grasping at her neck, wrists, and fingers; a few stray Marlboros in her purse and a glass of whiskey on the old wooden table that she occupies. As you approach her, you smell leather, metal, smoke, whisky and eyeliner. She is irresistible yet terrifying. Even after all these years, you can sometimes still taste her on familiar nights reminding you of that one November night in a London that now no longer exists.

I am not really good with reviews. I just got this in the mail, and I am currently really sick. BUT IT SMELLS SO FREAKING AMAZING! I am in love with it, and it was a full bottle blind buy, and I do not regret it at all. True femme fatale scent. A literal 10/10 masterpiece. Hoping to try out more fragrances by this brand soon. Very alluring. I have been looking for a perfume with rose scents and usually get highly disappointed, but I was so surprised that I really love this. The rose isn't too crisp or too sweet. Leather note isn't super strong either. Maybe because I am sick, I can't pick out the saffron (usually don't have a good experience with saffron in fragrances because of my skin chemistry) Lowkey gives off vampy vibes. If you are on the fence about getting this, JUST BUY IT.

soooo alluring... starts off a little stuffy, almost, the opening rose feels a little vintage, but there's an unmistakeable animalic note just underneath that blossoms as it settles. ends up very balanced and sexy, slightly warm from the saffron and very slightly sweet, but the overall impression is like finding the one empty room at a crowded, sweaty houseparty where the sexiest woman you've ever seen is smoking out the window.

i personally love this perfume i use it sparingly but it was so worth it. the rose is strong but compliments the musk scent. it lasted until morning once i put it on my neck and even longer since it got into my hair. the scent dies down after a while into the ash note

waxy spices basking in secondhand smoke. perfuming your bush with finely crushed rose petals. a gesture towards erotic asphyxiation. secretly spray on your lover's garments.
