my personal favorite from the collection, it's easy to wear and not heavy

Observing the fragrance name I initially thought that Possession was going to be broody, dark and alluring but I couldn’t be further from the truth. On the initial spray this fragrance opens up with an undeniable freshness but one that veers away from those commonly used citric notes. It’s a beautifully delicate freshness, conjuring up images of billowing white petals in a summer breeze casting their redolence to the nearest nose. An invigorating note of clean-cut cucumber in the background caresses the senses, its light airy and green nuances perpetuating that delicate veil of freshness. Emerging from that freshness is a deluge of the richest and mouth-watering fruitiness. It’s almost as if you have carved into a pineapple’s robust prickly exterior revealing its glistening golden flesh. Its sticky juices glisten in the light, trickling over your skin and imbuing it with its tantalising sweetness. Before you begin to imagine a full-on summer cocktail, a myriad of florals begin to protrude from its juicy pulp altering the dynamic and direction. Flutterings of subtle Pink Roses and Orange Flowers weave their magic across the skin. These florals faintly drift back and forth, as if you are both experiencing them from afar then pressing your nose against the very flowers themselves, the dewy green freshness of its petals filling the nostrils. The floaty sparkling profusion at the beginning of the fragrance starts to transcend into the most refined aroma, with those captivating florals merging with woods, musk and Amber. A delicate warmth and depth begin to ensue, and it’s this moment where your senses feel like they have been possessed themselves. The smell is so divine that I literally couldn’t remove my nose from my wrist, continually waving it in front of me so I could experience it again and again. There seems to be this flurry of sophisticated sweetness providing a constant addictive quality to the fragrance but one that is certainly not overindulgent or cloying. Instead, it is sensual and elegant, a soft resinous cloud that envelopes you like a cashmere scarf against your neck. The one thing I adore about this fragrance is that there is a continuous flirtation between boldness and delicacy, a zephyr of undulating notes that keeps your interest whilst coming together in a stunning harmonious balance. It’s one of those fragrances that transcends seasonality, an effortless scent that can be worn at any moment throughout the year and at any time of the day. I was originally sent the discovery set and chose this fragrance which was kindly gifted to me as a PR Sample.

I KNEW this smelled almost exactly like something already in my collection. I’m not trolling when I say it’s Rose by BBW. They smell very, very similar. That doesn’t mean Possession is bad, I love Rose and I think it’s the best scent BBW has ever made. But I do think the scent of both is a little uninteresting. Sweet, pink florals with a hint of red fruitiness. I adore fruity florals and I’m willing to drop money on them, but this doesn’t have anything sour to tickle my nose, nothing to add depth, and it’s not a very strong fragrance, so for me I’ll stick with Rose and a little more money in my pocket. The only differences I can tell is that Rose is stronger, Rose is slightly sweeter, and Possession has a tiny bit of clean laundry scent going on.

Bought with most others from the brand for £20 at TK Maxx in the UK. It's a fairly generic (feel like I've smelled it many times before) feminine leaning floral fruity perfume of reasonable quality. OK at the price I paid buy nothing outstanding. Am somewhere between a 3 and a 4 out of 5 rating for it but fragrantica don't do halves sadly

This is a typical womans fragrance : musky, fruity, floral scent from opening to dry down. Not bad but too generic and too pricy.

Beautiful fruity floral musky scent, there is absolutely nothing of amber here! It opens fruity to the nth degree, pineapple in the front row, tenacious, slightly acidic, as soon as it is sprinkled it is a slap in the face... Then it slowly evolved into a musky floral, vibe similar to Dior's Blooming Bouquet, except that here the floral is more accentuated, slightly spicy, I think it is the amaryllis that gives this scent because I had a herbal scent with this flower and the olfactory impression is the itself, then it calms down again and I almost recognized Rose by Zara, very similar in this phase, the clean musky part enters almost immediately, it remains on the skin for many hours, with a slightly clean, almost soapy aftertaste, with a sophisticated, glamorous allure, perfume that makes you feel good, to be worn on multiple occasions, more during the day but in my opinion also evening because of the easy approach it has... given the high cost I don't know if I would buy it again but I really like this type of perfume, so... . Never say never

It's an indoor smell. Soap and wool blankets. Clean musk, soapy-sweet. It's not really my kind of thing but at the same time it's beautifully made. Also I did not generally like 90s malls but it's kind of reminiscent of a few nice things I might remember from those as a kid, like a carousel and some cool fountains.

It's a fresh floral, I agree if you like Idylle Guerlain, Mojave Ghost Byredo, Chanel Chance Tendre you're likely to like this. A very lovable DNA, pretty and fresh. Also at first spray it feels VERY familiar, almost like J Adore Dior family?.. powdery floral?..
