No. 11 Eau de Parfum

I love natural fragrances, and when i heard there was something that included an authentic ambergris note i had to try this. I was not disappointed. This is a wonderful woody eau de parfum that can be worn at any occasion. It is understated but still strong enough to turn heads. The addition of the anise is an elegant touch, and there is just enough of this note to add to it's unique blend. Well priced for a natural fragrance of this level you will be glad you spent your money here and not on someone's ad campaign. This is a small maker and very unique. I've never ceased to receive a compliment from passersby every time i apply this.

Really liking this guy. This is very well blended!! The use of patchouli with the anise here is spot on, riding shotgun. And the Ylang is a nice flash-bang off the top. I can still smell it ducking in and out in the heart phase along with the rose from the rosewood, just enough. I get a "green" element from it too, but not green as in green leaf. More like "green spice" if that makes any sense. The olibanum and frankincense join up and save it from being that basic b sandalwood drydown I find in a lot of naturals (including my own.lol)

I’ve been looking for an anise fragrance unsweetened by vanilla or licorice, but less masculine than the fantastic Must de Cartier Pour Homme. And this is it! It opens with a sharp burst of ylang ylang and settles into a great olibanum, a note I usually find kind of dreary and joyless but it works well here. The anise isn’t overwhelming, just an undercurrent throughout the whole fragrance. An unexpected scent for sure.

Love this-- super anise-forward at the start, almost like black licorice. I get a good dose of white florals and ylang-ylang up top too, but it mellows in the dry down as the woods & patchouli come forward. It's like a spicy, musky phantasma. Definitely bewitching. Love it! One of my favorites for early evening wearing and when I cuddle up in bed to read for a few hours, reminds me of cozy times. The balsamic tones and softness of the scent adds to the cozy feeling for me.
