Rose Seduction

This perfume was a blind buy, and boy how lucky I was, cause it's so very, very nice!!! 1st I thought it was a rose-perfume, but, it couldn't be, because of the notes, and since I'm always looking for sweet perfumes, my wish came thrugh with this beauty =)) It is sweet like vinegums, it's fruity, and, I think it smells kinda like La Vie Est Belle of Lancome, but with the Iris, that I cannot wear, so, this one is a very good replacement for LVEB. The only minus with this perfume is, that it doesn't last for ever, but, I bought a BIG bottle and can overspray myself anytime =))

Rose Seduction was launched in 2019 and hits the main Brazilian stores from March 2020. It follows the “Seduction” line from Women’Secret, which brought fragrances as an extension of its lingerie collection called Intimate Collection. The first one was Gold Seduction in 2018. Rose Seduction consolidates the shinning side of the brand, repeating the visual pattern of its predecessor. However, this time the details are no longer in gold tones, but in silver. The fragrance brings notes of orange blossom, apple, and mandarin orange, in the head; Notes of jasmine and sweet accord, in the body; Notes of vanilla and musk, in the base. When Rose Seduction touches the skin, what we have is a sweet scent built to give the sensation of a candied apple. Luckily, the mandarin gives it an acidic facet, which ends up resulting in a smell reminiscent of wild fruits. It's like a mix of that patchouli with the smell of burnt sugar (Ethyl Maltol) along with the apple, creating a “frutchouli” accord right out of the box. Then, the floral side begins to dominate, bringing a jasmine bathed in vanilla and highlighting the floral-gourmand side. From this point on, there is not much evolution and the fragrance of Rose Seduction becomes calmer, which I see as positive, as this type of combination tends to exhale a lot and, consequently, bothers those who do not appreciate sweet perfumes. During the testing phase, the fragrance left me fragrant, but I knew I wasn't leaving a strong trail. The lasting is very good, to the point of having applied it at night on one of the occasions and still feels it on the arm the next day, although very smooth. Now that I can state, knowingly, something about the brand's two fragrances in Eau de Parfum concentration, I say the following: it is clear that both were created for night use. However, they are not explosive and tend to fall in the taste of women who wear more potent perfumes as part of their olfactory signature, even during the day or regardless of the weather. And as the cost-benefit ratio is high, especially if we remember that they are imported products and that the company has already conquered space in the clothing market, it has everything to be successful among the Brazilian costumers. Let the mouth to mouth advertising begin!

If you're into sweet perfumes, you might like this one. The main notes I get when I personally wear this is sweet notes (I could say overpowering) with vanilla, jasmine and a bit of orange blossom. Although it is not mentioned in any of the notes, I get a very slight whiff of wood which I think could have made the perfume a lot better if it was stronger since it compliments the sweet notes. I can't remember what La vie est belle smells like but I had Zara's Red Vanilla for a long time and I can say that they're not completely similar. Only similarity is the sweetness. Whereas Rose Seduction is mainly sweet and something that could be worn for an event by someone in their late teenage years/early twenties, Red Vanilla is more like a mature sexy sweet perfume with darker notes that could still be worn by someone in their twenties for a date or at night.

A smell of Dubai Mall :) unfortunately, it didn't work with my skin chemistry yet a nice one, give it a try!

It’s okay. A very sweet, but surprisingly mature fragrance. Smells pretty generic though. It’s not offensive, but I don’t see myself wearing it often if I want to stand out in a crowd. 6/10
