Hypnotic Amber

I'm sorry but this is infinitely better in quality, scent profile and performance than SWY Intensely and that's comparing it to the older, much richer, better performing and stronger projecting formulation with the toffee in the base that the new one just completely nixed out of the base. And it's all the worse for it. But all that aside, this stuff blows away the old, good stuff and I say it's a very large margin better than it was. The suede note added to the base smooths out what was just an overly syrupy profile in the older version of SWY Intensely and that's why I ended up getting rid of mine and enjoying the others in the line. But then there's the way the aromatic juniper accord is paired with an airy, fluffy iris and it's just an unbelievably breathtaking fragrance that has been executed to almost utter perfection and honestly I prefer it over any of the SWY's from Armani even if you include the Middle Eastern exclusive editions. Not to mention that the performance of this stuff is stronger than all of them other than possibly SWY Oud and even then it probably still edges out the Armani both in projection and longevity. I see that this brand only has one other fragrance and it's supposed to be close to Bleu de Chanel Eau De Parfum, and though I usually prefer the pure parfum version of BDC, I'm definitely going to be getting my hands on Xeena's Imperial Blue because they have just completely surprised me with the quality of the ingredients and the presentation is very nice as well. I'd expect to be seeing more from Xeena in the future!!!

Absolute monster. It's definitely very reminiscent to SWYI,not that its 100% the same or anything, it is trying to do it's own thing with the DNA. I can't quite pick out what the biggest change is, but i think cphideout did a pretty good job describing some of the differences. I actually prefer the smell of this over SWYI but you wouldn't be wrong for choosing either of them. It's so spicy in the best way, and I think I can actually pick out some more green nuances unlike in SWYI. Also although Iris is listed as a note, it is nowhere near the forefront of the scent.. The performance is very, very strong, tons of projection and longevity, I was smelling this nonstop as I walked around throughout the day, and it's just so lovely and addictive. While it may seem like it is a bit of a hard sell considering the price, and how you can pick up a bottle of SWYI for around $30 give or take more off of discounters, I have to say the quality of the fragrance is far above and beyond the price, and $60 is still a great value for this. I could easily see some niche brand slapping this same fragrance into one of their bottles and charging over 200 bucks for it. Even now, but especially if it comes down in price over time, this a must buy, or at least a must try. My only minor complaint is that while the actual bottle is nice and weighted with a solid feeling plate on the front, the cap is pretty hollow and cheap plastic feeling. But hey I still think its totally acceptable for the price and at the end of the day the juice inside is what matters.

I absolutely love this. I just received it 2 days ago. I also had a decant of SWY-I and they are close. Close enough to not miss anything and honestly, I think I like this better than SWY-I. SWY-I seems a little smokier so this is a little lighter which makes it a bit more versatile. This honestly may become my signature scent, Ill just spray light in the summer. It also definitely lasts longer than SWY-I. On initial spray however Hypnotic Amber is almost pure alcohol but goes away after about 30 seconds. I'm thinking that will probably go away after some maceration. You will not be missing anything if you get this instead of SWY.

Only a short time with it and I love it. A mixup and this was sent instead of Imperial Blue but I’m so happy for it. Smells a little boozy at first but that quickly fades into roasted chestnut and a little bit of cinnamon. Then spun sugar and toffee and vanilla show up through the dry down that becomes a lovely edible suede cookie. Fresh cardamom projects throughout and makes this somehow both amber/edible and also super fresh + clean. Underrated scent, blind buy worthy at $60 for sure. Beastmode performance, projects decently, gourmand & fresh at the same time. A winner. Shoutout to Aromatix/Neeb

Projects at least 2x stronger than the original SWYI, and lasts longer as well. 14+ hours on my skin. I’m predicting Beastmode when it macerates. Accuracy is 98%. Also, will somebody please add Zaib Campfire to Fragrantica? It’s the only other SWYI clone that compares. I’d add it myself if I could.
