Alexandria III

This is a unique, beautiful, soft, woody and powdery oud scent with roses. This is not a traditional rose oud, it feels like some well known scent profile- in this case rose oud - is covered with a huge amount of powder which is scented with Lavender. In the opening there is soft Palisander Rosewood, Lavender and Cinnamon. Lavender gives a fresh aromatic feeling and I think it’s the note which gives a soapy vibe for some people. For me it’s not soapy, it’s just clean. Cinnamon is difficult to separate as a note in any kind of way but it brings warm spicy vibe which I like a lot. Since there is Cedar in the middle notes and Sandalwood in the base notes, this is really woody but in the soft creamy way. And the whole point of this perfume: Oud. There is Laotian Oud and Thailand Oud and the last one with Musk give very sensual nuances to this concoction which I adore. Vanilla is impossible to detect as a note but it brings more soft touch to the scent. Beautiful sophisticated Rose is lingering in the background and it’s perfectly blended. Everytime I wear this it’s getting more addictive. Now the common question: how this differs from Alexandria II ? Since the main accords and notes are almost same it’s easy to think that these two are similar. It was somehow too boring for me and I felt that there is missing something. That was soapy for me but not a vintage style soapy which I love. I’m so glad that I gave a chance for III but that wasn’t love at the first sight either. I was testing this scent for a couple of weeks and after that I was totally in love. I tried to give many opportunity to II as well - but that wasn’t for me. I’M still IN LOVE with Alexandria III 😍 💯 Beautifully blended, totally unisex creation! Pretty overly sweet Honey together with Caramel and that combination is made wonderfully. It's smooth, soft and it has slightly baby wipes vibe which makes it velvety and a little bit powdery. In overall this is sweeter that Ceylon but the opening in Ceylon is much much sweeter that this one. If you like honey, this is definitely your choice and this is very easy concoction, Oud on my skin is totally hidden and Honey as well is pleasant. This short review is based on a sample. I just recently bought this fragrance and smelt it for the first time as a blind buy. I bought this because I liked Alexandria II but I felt like there was a freshness to it that reminded me of lavender air fresheners like Lysol. From what had been said by others this fragrance takes the Oud and makes it stronger along with the rose. They weren’t wrong. I cried the moment I opened the bottle and smelt the cap. It’s sweet and velvety with a rich, powerful rose and cinnamon in the opening. This reminded me of an improved version of Rose incense by Amouage. I sprayed a spray on my left arm, put down the bottle, and jogged around my house in victory taking a moment of reflection on how lucky I was to discover my new favorite fragrance of all time. The smell reminds me of those fields of flowers in France blended perfectly with an indescribable warmth. Moving on from the amazing scent you get a beautiful bottle. I thought the bottle would have been more clear but the black accents you see on the bottle in the Fragrantica image are actually gold and are completely opaque. Nevertheless still one of the best bottles I have ever laid witness to. One spray projected off of the skin well as should be expected from a parfum concentration but the true power comes from the longevity. This sticks to skin and clothes like the best smelling glue ever. I took a shower right after receiving the bottle that night and I could still smell the spray I put on my arm very powerfully, even after I thoroughly washed my arm off with a high grit bar soap that’s pine tar scented I could still smell it perfectly after a shower. This fragrance might be stronger than Alexandria II. It’s also cheaper on Jomashop being that I got a 50ml of this for 157 USD and Alex II was being sold for 220 for the same size. Overall I think this fragrance is a better version on Alexandria II in all aspects and is definitely worth buying for anyone looking for an amazing sweet, rose-Oud scent that is flawless. 12/10

What an amazing fragrance! I like Alexandria II and own almost 20 Xerjoffs including their Oud XJ Attars, but could never buy Alexandria II. I liked it enough but it seemed like a powdery fougere - oriental combo with a sharp green apple complimenting the lavender. Great, but not what I am looking for in my collection. But when I stumbled upon Alexandria III I was blown away....this was the perfect feminine rose fragrance my wife and I had been searching for. She found MFK Oud Satin Mood too sweet and fake smelling; MFK A la Rose too light; Fragrance du Bois Oud Rose Intense beautiful, in its creamy dryness, but too poorly performing, drying down to light sandalwood in just a few hours. She is a big fan of powdery fragrances and loves Kilian Woman in Gold...I also bought her Kilian Rolling in Love, Xerjoff Via Cavour and La Capitale, as well as FDB Siberian Rose - which she adores. So when I smelled this I thought it was the perfect addition to her collection! We wanted a classy rose fragrance that was exotic, mysterious and sexy but not too sweet. Something clean and powdery but also dark and nuanced. This beast is powdery, rosy, not too sweet, has oud for persistence and darkness, but lavender and lilly of the valley for airiness. It smells clean, but dark, dense, but airy, sexy, but sophisticated. I am addicted to it (sample on my wrist) and can't wait to give it to her (bottle in the closet waiting for her birthday!). It has great silage and longevity and is very different from Alexandria II, which is more male leaning and classic fougere meets oriental in its approach. Every woman needs an upscale rose fragrance that is sexy, classy, but not too mature or too sweet. This is it!

[Tested on skin] Starts with a fresh, sweet rose. Like rosewater. Makes me think of loukoum (Turkish Delight). Feels somewhat powdery but also creamy at the same time. The oud starts to appear lightly in the background after 3-5 minutes, while the rose remains very dominant, but slowly reduces in its brightness. In the first hour or so, Alexandria III remains a very rose-dominant scent. I can only detect the oud when smelling close to skin. It's a clean oud and the rose makes it "fresh" and sweet. As the fragrance develops, the oud and woody notes become more noticeable while the rose retreats (it remains the most prominent note though). The powderiness settles into a warmer vibe. The amber and vanilla start shining through and the slight spiciness from the opening now reveals a clearer cinnamon. I think the lavender is smoothly blended into the rose, I'm having a hard time distinguishing it as a separate note. Later into the dry-down, I've become a bit noseblind to the rose and start smelling the other notes more: warm spicy cinnamon with amber and woody undertones. But, every now and then, I get a sudden strong waft of rose to remind me that perhaps for people around me, it's still a rose-dominant scent. I must love this fragrance, or at least find it very intriguing because I keep wanting to smell more of it to find out what's changed in the last 15 minutes. It evolves and keeps things interesting. From the three (Alexandria II, III, Orientale), this one is my favorite, but I wish it had a touch more of the warm and dark vibes of Alexandria II.

Every breath you take... Very difficult to pick single notes here. The ones saying this is a more airy version of Alexandria II, more floral and transparent are leading people to the realm of Wrong Expectations... This is thick, cloying, very sweet and almost radioactive... Oud/rose combo...no Herbal aromatic lavender...no Creamy natural sandalwood...no This is dark sweet woods. This is like most of old Sospiro's dry-downs all the way, from the very beginning to the end, which is very far away... What I do like about it, or what I do find outstanding, is its resilience, the power to conquer, room invader nature, cloth possession capabilities. It's like the devil in "The Exorcist" movie. You better be calling Father Damien Karras if you want this smell to fade away and do not be there with every breath you take... If you are not a Xerjoff fan, I doubt you are going to like this one. But, in any case, if you are searching for people comments and compliments, this could be it. I bought it out of confusion and nose exhaustion... I was in Harrods, and after smelling all the fragrances in the universe (both floors), this one was one of the few still outstanding to my messed up nose. Uniqueness: medium Scent: 6/10 Performance: Beast Would I buy it: No (unless you are willing to sell your senses to this devil's nectar...)

To elaborate: Alexandria III is an opera coat-tier bed of roses from a hookah, if it were a middle eastern-prayer session oil burner instead of something you smoke out Its beautifully light and nonfatiguing too, which I highly enjoy compared to other ouds. Though had I discovered the Balenciaga Incense Perfumum was released a week ago in my city, I could have gotten that which was only $465AUD for 100ml instead of Xerjoff's $560 for 50ml but I can't deny how deeply blush-powder tinged romantic this perfume is and how it draws people closer to me who tell me it smells really nice. Will be wearing this to celebrate with my partner the day they receive their hard-earned (production-line) career promotion. ps: I am amused by the amount of small butterflies and bees ive attracted near me, alongside the occassional compliment. A tiny dronefly also came near the part of my wrist I sprayed Roja Enigma (cologne tester.) Sign of Alexandria III's good perfume material. [FEB. 2026]

Ordered samples from Xerjoff official website along with AII and AO, and I found AIII the most lovable on me. After testing it for a whole week, everything is so perfect to my nose. The rosewood-lavender creates a soapy beginning; then the beautiful rose with animatic oud come up to bring out the sexiness, along with the powdery feeling it lasts forever. It does perform complicatedly with the layers and scent twists, but not giving a totally dark and heavy vibe that some other oud fragrances on me. There in no need to further talk about the performance. My friend told me he still smells it at 4pm clearly when I did my spay at 9 in the morning, and I still got the woody powdery scent when i arrived home at around 9pm. To compare, I could not stand the apple note from the beginning in AII that reminds me of bathroom spray, and I found AO is lack of the animatic hint behind that makes the note combo stands out the most. Ordered a full bottle and can't wait for it to come.

Not usually the biggest fan of Xerjoff. I’ve been let down more than I’ve been amazed by this house all in all, but this is just stunning. If I had started with this, maybe I’d have understood all the xerjoff fanboys. This perfume is absolutely beautiful. There’s nothing powdery or cloying about it as I find with many of the oud stars line. This is just a very striking, long lasting and very well blended offering from the house. The rose is what drew me in, but if that’s not your thing, that’s okay. It doesn’t overtake the composition. There’s a lot to love in this bottle, not to mention the bottle itself. This is my second favourite of the house. Very very happy to have this in my collection.

This is the perfect fragrance for me..I liked it very much..It opens with a strong note of lavender..and it was an explosion to start watching a great event coming in the background. Within 30 minutes the real creativity begins ... Lavender retreats to show a soft and gentle rose wrapped in the luxurious Laotian oud ... Then all notes begin to harmony the most beautiful fragrance as if it was magic ... something that cannot be described .. In fact very surprised by the bad reviews This monster, which lasts for hours and hours to come out the most beautiful in it Smell :: 10/10 Performance :: 10/10 For me this is a perfect perfume

If you don't like or aren't sure about oud, don't even bother. I love oud though, and I love this fragrance. Its very smooth and sophisticated. It smells like class and old money in a good way, though would be very difficult I feel for a younger man to pull off. I don't understand how anyone could rate this anywhere near unisex, to my nose this is dominantly masculine. I'm glad I picked up a sample and will save it for special occasions, but I don't see myself dropping that kind of dough on a full bottle

First time I tried this in Harrods i thought it smelled like SHIT, very fecal and animalic. Now I have myself a bottle of this, tried it and didn't feel assaulted by dookie, instead I get this smooth and sweet powdery middle eastern fragrance. Very similar to Alexandria 2, but the rose is less prominent here, instead it's more oud forward. I feel like Arabian royalty every time I take a whiff of it, it's definitely a stand out fragrance, can't think of anything similar to it.

Well, I have a sample of this fragrance. I can say that I don't like it at all. I have a full bottle of alexandria II and is much much much better than this one. Alexandría II is a very nice fragance and one of the best fragrance for high end events. This one, Alexandría III to me is much more sharper and less "pleasant" to my nose. The oud is more pronounced than in alexandria II also and overall is like a less refined version of Alexandría II

GORGEOUS smooth dry elegant mix of woods. I think this is more versatile than most people give credit for. I found this for 150$ on a discounter and man Xerjoff doesn't miss. Some people may not like the powdery opening but don't worry it goes away quickly. Performance is perfect, very long lasting but never gets annoying. This is the opposite of a headache inducing fragrance.

Initially, there was a lot of talk about Alexandria II. Got it, wore it, and I was kinda put off by it. I liked the far dry down, but at initial spray, it reminded me of a slightly soiled baby's diaper. And then, there's Alexandria III. I LOVE this fragrance: powdery, rosy, and the perfect amount of oud to balance the rose. This will always be in my collection.

The blend of ALL the woods in here with the rose creates something absolutely beautiful. Incredibly smooth and smells expensive. Lasts 24+ hours and projects strongly. This is a stellar oud fragrance. I WILL have a bottle of this soon. I prefer this over A2, also one of xerjoff's best bottles imo edit: forgot to update but yes i now have a full bottle!

Upon the opening, I was thinking A3 was dominated by ambergris and little else (mainly creamy sandalwood), but the other notes come later. Much later. It really progresses slowly. After the opening, oud finally peeks out, along with the Bulgarian rose and Lily-of-the-Valley. Smells very expensive and exclusive.

Alex 3 smell like 6 stars hotel's soap, and the soapy scent in a very luxury way, a hint of oud in the backround, and the performance is really good, last 7-8 hours with a strong projection in 3-4 hours, this fragrance can wear it all year round, great rotation in my collection. overall 8/10

I don't have the time to write a big, long review on this but I'll say it's great. Very mature. Rose, oud, powdery. It's not for kids. It's for a mature guy. It's just great. I like it much better than A2, which I think, by comparison, IS kid's stuff.

Very classy fragrance from the house of Xerjoff. Can't go wrong with the house only top-notch quality from them. Alexandria the 3rd shows this quality. Mega beast mode performance and a wonderful smell. 9.5/10.

Dense spicy yet soapy oud with rose. This is a showstopper, really trying to make an impression and be remembered. This is not for casual wear though, it's very strong and works best in formal occasions.

The only fragrance for now with oud that I can wear and doesn't smell animalic / poop. It smells so nice and the dry down is wonderful. The rose and the lavender make it soapy a little bit but I love it.

Smells like baby soap to me. I am sure there is some baby soap with this fragrance. How can it be so expensive? It makes no sense.

This is a more feminine, lavender-heavy, Vaseline-esque version of Alexandria II. I LOVE it

i tested alexandria 3 today at the store(on my skin) and thought it was very similar to the alexandria 2 with some minor differences so i headed back home and sprayed alexandria 2 on my other hand to compare them side by side to report my findings here, and there are some minor differences i can detect but i have to say they are VERY similar scents, like 80% close on my skin. 1- when i compare them side by side, on my skin, the apple note on the a2 is apparent meanwhile i don't get that note on the a3. it gives a2 a more fresh/vivid kinda scent overall to my nose but its not a freshie fragrance by any stretch of the imagination. 2- a3 appears more "oud" forward on my skin, there is an extra dark woody kinda bitter herbal note on the a3 that i can't detect on the a2 that makes me like the creamier slightly sweeter a2 better and i don't know why a2 appears more creamy/sweet on my skin. is it because a3 has more oud/ dark herbal notes or the apple note on the a2 masks the dark woody notes, i don't really know.e 3- a3 appears more woody/darker so i can't really approve some of the comments below claiming a3 is more feminine than the a2. 4) i get the same rose note on both, and this rose note, as satisfying and beautiful as it is, makes it very challenging for me to pull them of as a man so both would be my "alone time" fragrances to enjoy. overall i like the a2 slightly better because of that extra dark wood kinda herbal note on the a3. a2 balances the woody, powdery, florals, vanilla and fruity notes perfectly and when i want something more dark and herbal i have other scents that i reach for not the alexandria. the store had other alexandria versions so in the future ill test them and compare them with a2 and a3. رایحه الکساندریا ۲ و ۳ خیلی شبیه به هم هست اما یک سری تفاوت های کوچک دارند با هم که اینجا بهشون اشاره میکنم. ۱-هنگام اسپری الکساندریا ۳ ترکیب عود، چوب رز، کمی دارچین، اسطوخودوس حس میشه اما در الکساندریا ۲ نوت سیب هم به این نوت ها اضافه میشه که حس تازه تری به رایحه میبخشه. ۲-نوت عود الکساندریا ۳ قوی تر به مشام میرسه، عود الکساندریا ۲ (عود لائوس) چوبی و کمی شیرین هست اما عود الکساندریا سه(ترکیب عود لائوس و عود تایلندی که برخی از عود های تایلندی رایحه ادویه ایُ دودی و تاریک دارند ) رایحه تاریک تر و ترکیبش با سایت نوت ها بویی مشابه گیاهان دارویی تلخ ایجاد کرده. ۳-نوت رز هر دو عطر برای مشام من یکسان هست. ۴- در مجموع حذف شدن نوت سیب الکساندریا ۲ در الکساندریا ۳ و اضافه کردن عود تاریک تر در الکساندریا ۳ باعث شده رایحه کمی دودی تر و تاریک تر باشه در مقابل رایحه شیرین تر مشکی-چوبی-گلی الکساندریا ۲. edit: tested the orientale too, the orientale is similar to the a2 and a3 dna with some changes, firstly the oud is more animalic/warmer/muskier than the both a3 and a2( oud in a2 and 3 got more woody herbal facets with 0 animalic qualities), secondly the sweetness is reduced thanks to slight hints of tobacco and leather and it felt drier and slightly fresher because of the coriander and the stronger apple note, also felt incensier than both. it still has the creamy powdery feel of a2 and a3 but with less sweetness and darker notes. imo orientale is the most traditionally masculine one whereas both a3 and a2 can be totally unisex. oud note comparison to the a2. a3 , orientale the oud note in orientale is musky animalic one with woody notes but very very very subtle and it comes across as a musky halo at the start. the oud in the a2 is the balsamic musky ones with acetone like qualities and its also very light. the a3 oud smells more green herbal tea like with woody facets, not animalic to my nose at all.

As a Bulgarian I can safely say that this is a very accurate representation of Bulgarian rose, if you can single the note out that is. Won’t be hard as it’s ver pronounced throughout the life of the fragrance. It’s complimented by different notes at different times. If the rose is the driver, Oud and Lavender being the front passengers (cuz it’s a van so there are 2 front seats) the rest of the notes are on the backseats and some of the ones listed here I can’t even smell so would say they were either left behind or potentially in the boot. Forgot to add in my head I associate rose heavy stuff with women so to MY tastes this is feminine leaning but overall I think it’s a completely unisex scent. So if you’re confident in your sexuality go ahead and pull the trigger on a decant as I wouldn’t recommend blind buying ANY frags When it comes to performance I assume it’s powerful because 1 spray from 1ml decant blew my head off. This shouldn’t be an issue. Lastly I want to add that the retail price is not worth it imo. If you could pick this up for £130/$150 or below for full bottle then it’s worth it. I will not be buying a bottle but as I said definitely worth a try as with most of the offerings from the house of Xerjoff Ps this is for more mature people and serious situations wouldn’t casually spray.. that’s me tho! You do you!!

I should prefix this by saying that I'm from Bulgaria, and while to most of you Bulgarian rose is this exotic rare thing (and it is) that only high quality perfumes use, I'm surrounded by that ingredient all around me (we put it in our everything, like Wakandans do with vibranium pretty much[I know, best analogy ever]) so to me it's not that special, which makes me get quite bored by rose-oud combos in fragrances pretty quick. That being said, If you're looking for a unique, different than everyone else's offerings rose +oud combo and the budget is no issue for you, chances are you'll love this. It's probably the best rose-oud for me, as I genuinely don't care for that combination, but this one I would wear. If it was priced around V-Collection or 1861 collection, I might've gotten a bottle just for the collection, but at oud stars price point, I regretfully pass on this one. So what I'm saying is, if you'd gift me a bottle I'd love to have it, I just don't wanna pay for it LOL! Personally, I'll be sticking to Alexandria II, which is my all time top. (and the reason why I wanted to try the other Alexandrias as well)

There is no doubt that it is part of the Alexandria line. It shares similarities to A2; however, it opens with a bit more rose and some light almost fruity facets. It’s as if the lavender and rose are more balanced in A3, and you lose the edge from the green apple, but at the same time you gain a creamier experience. The mid is a creamy dry powdery woody floral experience that is really quite enjoyable! I do love the woody facets of this fragrance! It’s almost like they amped up the rosewood a bit more in A3. Definitely worth checking out! Perfectly unisex where as A2 leans a bit more masculine. I can’t say which is better between the two. They’re both flawless in different ways. Easy 10/10

I like this more than Alexandria II, which was a bit too sharp and old school for me. I actually met the person who inspired it (Kostas) today, and his request to Sergio Momo was to create a more wearable Alexandria II with an added note of rose. This is a relatively clean, woody type of oud, with some skank from what I'm perceiving as cumin. There's some soft florals in the background, making this more lush and plush than Alexandria II. The drydown is gorgeous and in the vein of Oud Ispahan/Oud Palao, but this is airier and brighter and less dark.

Such a rosy, sweet and heady opening! Lavender is but a spectre in the top notes. Waiting for the middle and base to take over. I can't say I really like the tops; they are more mid eastern than Xerjoff style. Not a bad opening though, it's just not what I expected. -- After 90 minutes: The middle is more mellow and smooth, but not too unique as a rosy oud. So similar to Verticaloud. Definitely not worth the price.

Powdery Rose. Ignore the notes, Alexandria III smells like rose-scented talc powder. Like a combination of rose and orris. There is a slight woodiness to it, that is likely the rose wood, and the lavender adds a touch of cleanliness to the smell. Soft, powdery, creamy, rosey. Is it a nice smell? yes. Is it worth it? Honestly, no. This is a unisex, mature rose scent for spring/winter time. "Like" and pass

I own Alexandra III it's a classy woody oud scent with a creamy amber/vanilla dry down. The opening floral rose make it lean a little feminine but it settled quickly into a more unisex blend of lavender and warm spices. The quality is superb. However, compared to (a sample) Alexandra II I which is much more dense version of Alexandria III.

An amazing rose scent that’s powerful but dreamy. It reminds me of Rose Incense but way more nuclear on a baby powder base. Spray sparingly as this rose is strong!

Alexandria II is better than Alexandria III.

Alexandria III (32619R) First Visit Alexandria III makes me feel like I need to reinterpretation my liking in Oud fragrance. It is such a roller-coster like of Love or Hate. I expect my oud fragrance, is be very Animalic, very Ben-yard to the point that it is not pleasing. I know, I wried. I even leans to Oud Palao by Diptyque than Alexandria III by Xerjoff. At first sprays, it is so powdery. Powdery like a soft baby powder. Boring and tame, I though I this is such a bad blind-buy. It is strong in that aspect like 2 hours. I am already Justice my selection and thought already. But, as it is develop further. I start getting smooth Animalic oud that smells so wonderful. So wonder and misunderstanding at first glance. It's never stop blooming and become more rosy wood. Further and further, with pure delicate oud. And this is easy to use, not as hard as other rose-out I have tried. I don't understand anything like now, In fact I as myself a few time already. That's what is actually my interpretation of oud. Do I walk a wrong way all along or I prefers unapologetic scent as preference. Can't really score anything now, but this is my 2 time I experience this kind of emotion. The first one is Jicky by Guerlain. The second one is Alex 3 by Xerjoff. I will come back to update further.. for sure. ===== Extension 1 on August 4, 2024 Alexandria III (Batch from 2019) This is a year already, passed year - I think I wear Alexandria III only one time. I could totally say that Alexandria III is a flanker of Alexandria II. It build around the same core material and concept of Alexandria II but it is fuller. It isn't hollow as Alexandria II. These 2 fragrances are build on Hefty dose of Amber material so call Oud. Blend, Alexandria III gives impression that it is fuller as heart is more filled with Stronger rose and powder, woody tone (might be sandalwood). Regards the density of fragrance, I find both are quite similar in the way it is radiating from skin. I can't wear these on neck area otherwise I am suffer. I think AIII is feminine due to floral & powder quality leaning while AII is true unisex. And I would say this is redundant to own both because two are really have same density. Build with same structure. I think, can pass AII to peace as I would barely wear either AII or AIII. :) As AIII is more softer and support with powdery note but I think amber material is dense almost inky to my nose. AII is really more transparent. Drop from assessment.

This is a spectacular fragrance. Open: Powerfully and with a Radiant rose note. Too rosy for me. I'd call this a feminine perfume for that alone, but some men like wearing rose. I'm not familiar enough with oud to say if i can detect the different types, but i get the note that is oud. Mid: The rose calms down a bit and opens room for more oud and woods. The rose is still most of the scent, but not as overpowering as in the opening. Dry down: Still dominated by rose, with oud and woods. Performance is "Out Of This World". Projecting and lasting for hours and hours on my skin. I'd classify the longevity as "Eternal" and Sillage as "Enormous". If you spray this, you'd better mean it, because it's not coming of easily in the shower either. After scrubbing it of with soap, it still has more projection and scent trail then a lot of designer fragrances have right after putting them on, so i tried to cover it with scented body lotion. It still overpowered the bodylotion. I do get Some sweetness, but i think that's from the rose. I can't tell. Not what i would call a sweet fragrance by any means though. Probably something a mature woman would find apealing. It reminds me a lot of my grandmothers rose perfume, but better in every way. Get your nose on it first, if you intend to buy it. I expected rose, but not quite as much as i get. I'd say it's mostly all rose with some other notes playing around it. I can't fault the price as this is Clearly a high quality and quantity of rose, and it contains ouds, Rosewood and musk. all of which can be very expensive raw materials. I doubt ant expenses were spared on the side of ingrediencies. I don't particularly like it, as I'm not a fan of the scent of rose. But this is a 10/10 fragrance, especially if you like rose. Leans very feminine in my opinion. And mostly towards mature women in my opinion.

I heard a lot about this one (and the house in general, this is the first of their offerings I sample) and I immediately know that this house is absolutely not for me, same goes for this particular fragrance, but purely because of the scent. So spraying it on I can already smell a lot of the base notes, massive amberwood molecules, a huge oud accord, heaps of powder, that all add up to the color beige, a high amount of sweetness running through a floral heart with spices and some delicate sparkly top notes. Massive smelling, dense, thick, the projection and longevity must be ridiculous on this. Ultimately as a scent it reminds me of a bit of retro western orientals rehashed and 'on steroids' (I hate the expression, but it really applies in this scenario), similar to Roja's treatment of much older Guerlains. Smelling this I can immediately tell it is created for the Dubai 'nouveau riche' demographic who enjoy their fragrances bold, massive, and opulent, hence also the completely unjustifiably high price. Doesn't smell bad, by any means, just not something I could imagine being interested in.

Very Strong from the get go... A real sneezer to start... Initial thoughts too powdery for me... This is a boom... Half a normal spray might be better... Morning was way to powdery but settles very nicely after lunch... Don't get much Oud in this... Gets nicer as it stretches into the evening when the sandalwood and amber vanilla levels it out... I just looked up the price... Forget about it... This ain't no Nio... I see this as overpriced as I don't see it as special enough... Bear in mind that is just for my taste, I don't particularly like Oud forward scents... ... I just read the "You smell like a clean auntie" ok I guess :/ comment from Acidula... ;) ... touché my friend touché....

It is a very special perfume. I think it's good for professional noses who want to experience a new fragrance; But it cannot be a good perfume for most people, because it really has a special smell. The combination of Bulgarian rose, Thai oud, and Laotian oud; created a very different and strange smell. عطر بسیار خاصی است. من فکر می کنم برای بینی های حرفه ای که می خواهند یک عطر جدید را تجربه کنند خوب است. اما برای اکثر افراد نمی تواند عطر خوبی باشه، زیرا واقعا بوی خاصی داره. ترکیبی از رز بلغاری، عود تایلندی و عود لائوس؛ بوی بسیار متفاوت و عجیبی ایجاد کرده

Where to me Alex II is a strong soapy lavender backed by a crisp, juicy apple dusted with cinnamon and a woody base, Alex III tweaks the formula by deleting the apple and amping up the lavender and rose. I don't even notice the rose in the original while here it sits right beneath the stronger, more powdery lavender. I usually enjoy that, but this come across as quite chalky and I miss the fresh apple. Moderately strong projection for 3-4hr, creeping along for many more hours, longevity 10-12hr.

Why is it always the ones you don't like that have the eternal longevity and crazy sillage?! I sampled this on the back of my hand with 2 sprays, and no kidding, it lasted over 2 days and through so many hand washes. I kept getting whiffs of this all day! As much as I don't like this scent, I do appreciate it. This just isn't my jam. It is a velvety-smooth rose and oud scent that isn't as pungent as most ouds are to me. I find it much more tolerable than Alexandria II.

Alexandria lll is very strong. If you have a sensitive nose it will have you sneezing. The opening is an in your face blast of baby powder. Something about the dry down made me a little nauseous. It's like you can taste the scent in the back of your throat. A little really goes a long way. It last forever on clothes but on skin all I get is baby powder. Even after 6 hours. If there was a softer version of this I'd definitely buy it.

From a non-expert in fragrances, this smells like if you took a wet wipe/makeup wipe and dipped it in talcum powder. It smells like a nursery for babies after the janitor cleaned the room. Take that as you will. The oud smells more acoholic than oud. Yes this has a bunch of fancy ingredients inside but i reckon this smell is easily replicable with standard cleaning products, definitely not worth 500 bucks for 100ml.

I have a hard time with this one. Without a doubt a harsh synthetic oud accord unfortunately. The rose in this scent is quite pleasent but its so hard getting through that dusty dry oud accord which at the same time comes across as screechy. Alexandria 2 does this dna in a much more pleasent way, even though it comes out quite chaotic. This one is just okay for me.

As commented below, this is powdery rose. Much creamier and more powder and rose forward than Alexandria II. It’s nice enough but kind of reminds me of the smell of my grandmothers bedroom. Is it bad? No, not particularly Do I want to smell like this? Not really Is it worth the price? That’s up to you
