Aurum

This is like OSM except everything 😂 I have over 45 oud and rose fragrances and this ranks high We get some similarities in oud rose fragrance because they are prominent materials. This is a beautiful soft lemon sponge cake with smokey almonds and Turkish delight It’s smooth and sweet, subtle on oud 10/10

Dysect below is absolutely spot on. This smells like Onyx Extreme and Onyx Air by Aaron Terrence Hughes. It’s not as animalic as Onyx Extreme but it’s very very similar in scent while being very close to Onyx Air. I adore Aurum and find performance to be amazing!

Aurum on my skin 24+ hours. Absolutely a stunning fragrance from top to bottom. Aurum is truly golden! A welcomed edition to the collection.

Same with kemi aurum.. if you love kemi aurum but cant find it anywhere just buy this! Its the same! Trust me!

I tried this one today and its quite lovely, It feels golden (which is it's name)without becoming an amber or tropical fruit scent. Warm and gold and expensive. I can smell the rose in there. It has an antique feel to it, which I think a lot of these scents from xerjoff do. Very smoothly blended. I think this would work as an all around perfume. Silage is maybe 6 inches off the skin at most. But it's not totally on the skin but still pretty intimate. Is it worth 240 euros? I am not sure. I may wear it again.

A very nice blend with that strawberry and chocolate, the other notes are blended very smoothly into the mix. It’s a sweet and unisex frag with a smoky touch of incense, the only complaint I have is a subtle sour note (which I assume is the oud) that sits in the back ever so slightly. After about 10 minutes it settles into a beautiful scent. Overall, pretty damn good!

Tried my sample again tonight and had to almost immediately scrub it. I got a rank synthetic strawberry and piss smell. After attempting to scrub it, there's a remaining piercing citrus and patchouli smell. It isn't working for me. Interesting concept, but I'm too sensitive for what this does. It doesn't draw me in. Next...

@Shawn You must be ragebaiting lol, "sounds like basic crap" meaning you don't actually know what is smells like. And imagine thinking a fragrance is poor quality or bad because it has strawberry, often a very nice note. And before you talk about price get on a discounter please. Also never post on this website again.

It’s smell amazing in hot weather . Don’t be afraid wearing this in 80 degree heat!!

One of these things is not like the other. Now it’s time to play our game. It is the citrus. The citrus does not belong. To my nose it mutes all of the other notes. Xerjoff just wrote their term paper in pencil then erased it. You can still see the words on the paper but they are very faint. Why? 🤷🏼 all I can say is the price is right at the discounters.

Light version of Via Cavour 1. If you have Via Cavour 1 dont buy aurum ! Via vs aurum similarity is 80/85% ! Via is better.

Reminds of me of ATH Onyx Extreme. Fruity dark oud w/ some gourmand touches

The rose is very prominent, which is why I dislike Aurum very much. Of course that's personal. The quality overall is 9/10, but I do not think the price is justified for just a rose fragrance.

I enjoy this scent. It starts off how you’d expect a fruity rose Oud to open. I’ve never smelled “more than words” but I’m assuming it’s fairly similar since I have/smelled others that are compared to it Rose and Oud with a fruity sweetness without being overly sweet. A little something different because of the chocolate, but it doesn’t scream chocolate bar to me. It mellows out and becomes a little smokey due to the incense (just the right amount to add character) and dries down to something that seemed familiar. Bond No 9 Nomad. I love Nomad and even though it’s reminiscent I don’t mind the redundancy as Aurum has its own characteristics Very nice cooler weather juice, not a projection monster but seems to have lasting power and good silage. Very well blended and smooth as Xerjoff tends to be. If you’re looking for a classier semi sweet scent in the same vein as BN9 Nomad with added incense this might be worth checking out. Great juice

Similarly to Joani's review, what I mainly smell is rose & red berries. Aurum's open in the air made me think Intense Cafe-esque (standard sweetened rose). I don't think I can identify strawberry, only because I'm running this side-by-side with Xerjoff's Via Cavour I so I'm just left thinking red berries. While VC1 is an Aurum-derivative, I think VC1 is objectively the superior scent. VC1 has more fruity pop, more evident chocolate, and not as much rose. I ran the comparison with 1 bottle spray of VC1 vs. 6 sample sprays of Aurum - VC1 feels stronger at first, but dies off quicker (Aurum has an extra ~2-3 hours of longevity). I didn't try layering, but suspect that might be interesting as well. I'd recommend skipping on Aurum and getting VC1 instead. Yes, it's harder to find VC1, but it's more unique and you can probably blend your own Aurum if you layer any rose on top of VC1.

This is beautiful perfume, no doubts. It's pretty mature (in a good way), sophisticated. It translates confident and magical vibe. This perfume is not about seduction (maybe for somebody, not for me). There is no specific note that make you think about food (beloved strawberries, chocolate, orange), no straightforward flowers. It's not one of those gourmands that seems to come from the bakery, but your kid might love it when smelling the bottle. What you'll feel- perfume interpretation of warm and a bit oudy chocolate with some good alcohol, bright sparkles of orange here and there, maybe echo of earthy greens.

That's a hard pass for me. Strong rose, quite proeminent strawberry note, potent floral patchouli + slightly skanky oud... I like all those notes most of the time but here the blend makes me think of a "rotten rose" for some reason. There like a pot-pourri feel to this fragrance which gives me old lady vibes. Skanky old lady vibes. Skanky old lady in a dirty basement vibes. I wanted to like it, but it just didn't work out. Note: it wouldn't be the first time I despise a scent but find myself loving it 3 months later.... Anything is possible, I am very unstable anyways.

I have tried over 40 different samples from Xerjoff and this one stands out. It's an amazing cosey smell of roses strawberry and chocolate. It also last forever! You can easily smell it all day long, and even after a shower it's still there although very muted. It's absolute killer good! There's only 2 downsides to this, it's expensive! And it comes in 50ml only. My 2nd best perfume from this house, only beaten by Symphonium wich is my all time favourite at this moment!

A slightly heavier, less fresh/powdery, and more warm balmy oud satin mood. I dont get any of the other supposed nuances other than a ton of rose, a smidgeon of oud, and a little vanilla. Chocolate, strawberry, oakmoss, labdanum etc are all absent to my nose. I prefer OSM if Im gonna go down this path, but Aurum isnt bad at all. Smells good, and extremely calm & smooth.

This is not an oud heavy fragrance at all. It is rose & strawberry driven; Chocolate is faint and almost unrecognizable except if my nose is not directly smelling it- then it smells like a chocolate covered strawberry- almost... In fact it smells like u used too much oil in your chocolate fondue but still dipped the strawberry; aka like a La Nuit Tresor flanker.

Heavy strawberry, rose and oud scent. Chocolate note is there in the background with labdanum and a minty fresh patchouli. The Oud is not fecal here, it is clean and smooth. This is a sibling to Via Cavour I ...it's a sibling with more Oud and a lot more patchouli. VC1 is more feminine and palatable for non oud lovers. It is good, very good.

Rose, cocoa, vanilla, oud. Very much reminds me of Resala. Sure there are other nuanced things present but those are the main player. Unisex. On occasion I pick up wafts resembling carmel, other times no. Resala 100ML can be had for the price of Aurum 50ml so although this one is good, I recommend Resala.

Beautiful gourmand with a musky woody twist! Middle eastern and very warm!! Love it has the classic Kemi smell to it ;) xerjoff what happened to these bottles? Everyone I’ve bought brand new leaks at the collar.... That’s not typical of Xerjoff

This is like VC1 but thousand time better. VC1 is like a cheap version of this scent. The rose in here makes this one of the best Xerjoff fragrances ever made.
