Wabar

I loved this perfume, I haven't felt this love for a perfume in a long time. I've been using it for days, my clothes smell like this sweet, floral vanilla. It has a base of vetiver and musk, and the citrus mixture gives it a very light sweetness, easy to use in any season. It has very natural and high class notes. I’ m so happy with my bottle, it’s a jewel.

Wabar is definitely one of the best scents offered by Xerjoff hands down. It wears like a deep purple silk shirt with a winning lotto ticket in the front pocket and a cool grape cocktail in the palm of your hand. Life is good but with Wabar it is indeed a next level experience.

Wabar is an interesting but screechy Oriental vanilla from the eclectic luxury line Xerjoff. The perfume opens with notes of star anise and bergamot and proceeds to a dense floral middle of magnolia, lily of the valley, and jasmine. Finally it settles on a powdery base of musk, vetiver and vanilla. The feminine leaning perfume has strong sillage and projection and good longevity. A bit loud and somewhat extravagant for what it offers. Enjoy!

Like FoxySunshine, I also don't detect a lot of the notes in this, and it's a real scrubber for me. No fruit notes are listed, but this smells very artificially fruity to me, in a really plastic cloying way. Only good thing I have to say about this fragrance is the longevity and sillage are excellent. *My sample is from Luckyscent.

Can’t get away from associations :( It reminds me of a cheap air freshener they use in stores. Or scented candles gone bad that they still sell for $0.99. I am so sorry I don’t hear any of the wonderful notes other people noted. Definitely no vanilla in the drydown.

The sweetness is alluring and very pleasant. A nicely blended vanilla offering from Xerjoff. The florals are quite prominent in the opening but fade on my nose fairly quickly, leaving a spiced vanilla musk. I do get the association with air freshener / candles.. but this isn't a turn off. These notes are used in many products precisely because they are appealing. Wabar is easy to wear and slightly feminine (who cares). I'd be happy to have this in my collection, even as a candle haha.
