OroNardo

I am still pretty new to the fragrance world. But this fragrance hits a home run for me for all the things that I would look for. And to me this is 10/10. Le labo lys 41 used to be my go to floral scent when I reach for white floral scent and also have good longevity. Since oronardo enter my collection, I stop reaching for the le labo. I think this is even more beautiful than lys 41. Even though I like that one a lot. Oronardo is less creamy, more fresh and bright imo, but still last long. The smell is gorgeous, feminine, not powdery or bubble gummy. Not overwhelming. Beautiful florals that smells very natural to me. Doesn’t smell generic or cheap. Even when I don’t wear it, I just love sniffing the cap. But it is not an everyday scent imo. I won’t wear to work because it smell so good and I feel like it might be drawing too much attention :p This fragrance is perfection for me. Last all day and I m still smelling floral at the end of the day, not like musk or vanilla or sandalwood which are the more common base notes that I don't always like. Floral from start to finish and last long? Never ever happened to me. I put on once after I shower in the day and I still smell it the day after. Silage is also awesome. Not a skin scent and I smell it through the day easily as I move around and every time I smell the scent I feel so happy. And of course last but not the least, that bottle which is so beautifully designed and crafted. And can be repurposed as vase or decoration or maybe even diffuser holder I imagine, after the perfume is used up. (like others have said, you can put the cap under the bottle to make it a sphere-like vase, which I really love the thoughtfulness going into this) It’s not a cheap fragrance, but I think on the whole spectrum on things that I look for in a perfume (smell, performance, packaging, (maybe even uniqueness?)), it hits all the marks to me and it’s very well worth it. Also given it’s performance, I only need a few spritz and a little goes a long way. My only worry is that not a lot of places carry it in US and I will have a problem getting another bottle if I ever run out (which I think very likely) since I m so hooked right now. This is a true love for me. Edited: I just smell tom ford Jasmine rouge and yes, they are very similar! (Same perfumer) There are some parts of the notes that remind of of Xinu. Jasmine rouge is more spicy, has more depth. Maybe more sexy in some sense? I love both of them. And I feel Xinu is a bit easy to wear both day and night, imo.

What an amazing tuberose fragrance! It's so uplifting when I wear it I feel like I'm sparkling - and the greenish tones that give it some fresh heft... just mmm. This is liquid sunshine. Not strongly musky, no banana notes here, just fresh green tinged florals with an effervescent twist. What sealed the deal at this price point for me is how long the tuberose note lasts. Even Jasmin OD starts losing steam at the 3 hour mark but 6 hours in this is still going strong. An incredible offering at a less incredible price point but a perfect example of getting what you pay for. Just understand you're signing up for tuberose that doesn't quit; if you like this it's going to be for it's focus and the lack of unnecessary distraction. A rare true love for me. 9+/10

I bought this fragrance at the Xinú store in Mexico City. The experience was great. They show you and explain their creations one by one. I fell in love with OroNardo. Its notes aren't the ones Fragantica shows, but rather: Mock Orange Blossom, "Queen of the Night," Marigold, Mexican Tuberose, and Yellow Oleander Flower. After they explain the notes, the concept becomes more understandable. This is the smell of an altar on the Day of the Dead. The tuberose and marigold are very realistic and are the notes I smell the most. Like all their fragrances, it's a beauty representative of Mexico. Nothing like the ordinary fragrances they're comparing it to.

Oronardo transported me to my childhood in Mexico in the 80s. The month of May - rows of little girls dressed in white waiting outside the cathedral to offer flowers to the Virgin Mary. The nuns would give us little bouquets of tuberose, sprinkled with orange flower water to gently place at the feet of the statue after a short prayer. The tuberose note is strong in Oronardo. It comes in softly and elegantly, followed by the wild, green scent of the marigold, just lurking in the background. Imagine a bouquet of tuberose dotted with cempazuchitl blossoms, wrapped in the most delicate green foliage. It lasted all day on my wrist. I will definitely buy.

Incredibly elegant and gloriously balanced floral. A friend of mine bought this and let me try it just to see what it is like. This is tuberose at its finest. The striking and unique bottle seems impractical at first glance; but when you're done with the perfume and wash the bottle out, it's made so you can reverse the bottle half and the wood stopper half so the broadest flat sides face one another to make a beautiful spherical bud vase.

Proper review coming later. For now I will just say this: this is might just be THE BEST tuberose/white floral perfume I have ever smelled to date, and it is FOR SURE in the top 5. Other favorites include Hiram Green Moon Bloom, Nasomatto Narcotic V, Parfums Del Rae Amoureuse, and old formula (haven’t tried the new one yet) FM Lys Mediterenae (the latter two both being lush lilies, not tuberose). INTOXICATING.

the absolute best floral perfume. every single time i wear it people compliment it and ask what i'm wearing. its a tropical vacation in a bottle. it's a walk through botanical gardens. its floral in a way that's young and fun and not your grandma's rose perfume. its so unique and long lasting for a floral. I will continue to purchase this when my bottle runs out. also the bottle is so gorgeous? huge plus

I got this as a gift after watching my friend's cat for two weeks. I love how floral and fresh it is. I personally think it's a more mature scent something that an elegant older woman would wear. I wore this while getting drinks with a classmate recently, and she told me partway through hanging out that the way I smelled made her sexually attracted to me.

I am generally not a fan of heavy white florals but this is so well executed and leaves such a beautiful trail in the air I might be won over. Fresher botanicals are clearly where Xinú shines; this and Monstera are just awesome. Even the Flor de Musgo hand lotion is super with its green and invigorating scent ( I wish it was a perfume)

I finally got my sample from Lucky Scent! This is tuberose magnifique! Super hyperealistic smell of a bouquet of tuberose with a hint of orange in the background! It's gorgeous and absolutely beautiful! I couldn't see myself wearing something like this every day but it is a beautiful scent! I need to have some for my collection!

extremely pleasant dewy JUST-bloomed tuberose + jasmine combo, not indolic by any means, not overly creamy or bubblegummy. if i were to guess, i think there's probably gardenia here somewhere in the composition. well-done actually, if u r the type of a person who finds white florals tricky, u still might find this pleasant.

indolent and a little powdery, ghost of almond scented lotion watching over your neck. it feels fresh like a white flower finely misted with cool water, bringing your nose up to it you can feel its plush petals are a few degrees colder than the surrounding air. that tuberose is SEXY!!!

Oh OroNardo why did I even try you? I had a feeling I was going to fall in love with you. I might as well just copy akawanis' review because I agree completely. It's a eyes roll back in your head perfume.

Gorgeous white floral. That's all I have to say, really. It's a win for me. It smells natural, pretty, like I stuck my nose in a flower bouquet. Obviously the package design is beautiful as well.

Expensive sexy lush jasmine. The gold color is important. It's a perfume about being a beautiful woman, The Empress card

This is my new baseline for tuberose. Classic and feminine leaning, with a green crispness that makes it feel modern.

This is the first time I've heard of mock orange, and it's described as "Sweet smelling flowers...reminds [of] orange flowers and jasmine" which is what I smell the most. Then tuberose (the sweet watery kind, nothing carnal or overly rich) becomes more and more prominent until it almost overtakes mock orange. You can smell the "talcum-like" Nerium oleander "with hints of pollen sweetness" throughout, which translates to a slightly makeup-like powderiness. It offered unique flowers, but could've easily been read "jasmine, tuberose, & iris," which doesn't stand out from the better ones of its kind although a solid fragrance. Still, it's my favorite of the brand and the bottle is amazing!

I agree with the reviewers that it's a tuberose-heavy white floral fragrance with elements of other flowers. Unlike Do Son, it's not smoky, and unlike Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad, it's not sweet at all. To me its similar to L'Artisan Parfumeur Nuit de Tubereuse, Creed Floralie, Robert Piguet Hannant Douglas, A Lab on Fire Made in Heaven. In other words, it's your typical intoxicating tuberose with carnal-like nature. I was not impressed, as for this price you can find other alternatives.

Very fresh white and yellow floral, opening of clean laundry, but to me there is also a subtle peppery undertone balanced with a subtle powderiness. I wouldn't call the overall effect spicy or powdery by any means, though. The florals remain on drydown, along with a veeeerrrrry faint smell of dried cannabis or soil that weaves in and out as time goes on. It is lovely and naturalistic, no overly sweet or synthetic-smelling elements at all.

Exquisite ode to the tuberose flower. This lush floral bouquet showcases the heavy natural tuberose with an array of other florals including oleander, marigold and mock orange with plant based musk. The resulting mix is like drowning yourself in a tuberose field. The feminine leaning scent has moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. Must for tuberose lovers. Enjoy!

This is crushed flowers in sunlight, skin slightly sticky with heat. To me Oronardo smells like sun-warmed tuberose dusted in golden pollen. It’s textural, solar and botanical. The opening is green with a slightly bitter floral burst, followed by a bubblegum facet from the tuberose, that later softens into something warmer.

This is a green tuberose scent. Quite close to a naturalistic smell of actual tuberoses. I can also smell some other floral notes (maybe jasmine snd ylang) and some musky “baby powder” base. It’s beautiful, but not really my type of scent.

Classic white floral scent. Indolic, but not so much that it's unpleasant. Powdery like pollen. Slightly bitter. Kind of a midway point between a vintage floral and a modern floral. Projects pretty strongly. Must-try for floral lovers!

Mushroomy gardenia paired with intoxicating tuberose. Parfum d'empire Un Bel Amour D'Ete is identical (and far cheaper) to this.

I get a sweet, tuberose-centric white floral melange. I don't find it *that* different from some mainstream brands tuberose-y perfumes, to be honest. In fact, if I smelled this on someone else I would guess maybe Gucci Bloom or the like. I was expecting something more expensive-smellung. It really brought me right back to my bottle of the Michael Kors signature perfume from like 15 years ago which I owned back then and bought at first sniff, but couldn't wear because the sweet linearity got to me after an hour.

There’s something in here that kinda reminds me of cigarettes but without the smoke... not tobacco though. Not my favorite Rodrigo tuberose, I think Wilgermain Radianza still wins for me

This is a gorgeous fragrance, but not especially different enough from so many others already out there to warrant the price. In fact, it brought to mind so many fragrances I already own, (actually too many to even list here), that having this in my collection would be redundant. So, while I agree with all the reviews that state this is beautiful, I also think you can do just as well with a similar perfume at a much cheaper price. Edit - 10/28 - Michael Kors Sheer smells a lot like this. Note profiles are a little different, and this is better made, but scent wise Sheer really comes close. Unfortunately, Sheer is now discontinued and expensive too, but if you already have that you could probably do without this.

It smells like childhood summers — orange blossoms over the school gates filling the air thick with sweetness. Marigolds in the backyard, their scent earthy and defiant, clinging to my fingertips after I picked them for my mom. And always, tuberose, heady and lingering, from my mother’s wardrobe. When I first smelled OroNardo in store, it was green, resinous, and almost holy. It didn’t smell exactly the same, but something in it stirred the longing of my childhood home. As if, with each breath, I could call the past closer. OroNardo is the memory of the pure and carefree days long gone, but still blooming somewhere inside you.

OroNardo puts an image in my mind of it being made in a beautiful perfumery instead of a sterile laboratory! The scent of a sensual feminine woman- Sofia Loren or Monica Bellucci in one of those sexy, form fitting, just under the knee, pencil style dresses. I was worried it might be too floral or too mature smelling but it’s neither, the white florals here are quite fresh and pleasant! Also gives me “old money” vibes but on a younger woman. The quality is noticeable, what a relief to not get a blast of alcohol at the opening. Worth trying out for those looking for a quality fresh white floral.

Most beautifully-composed tuberose scent. The tuberose is pure and natural, not indolic or sickeningly sweet. It is balanced with mock orange (notable in some of the MFK fragrances, like 724), powdery oleander, and crisp-green Mexican marigold. As someone who wants to like white florals, this is a safe introduction, because unlike My Way or Fracas, there is a lightness that makes OroNardo easy to wear. If you like Lys 41 you will love this, though I find this one more delicate and fresh, evoking the way the living flowers smell.

My first time trying a Xinu scent (love the bottles). Oro Nardo smells to me like jasmine and tuberose (realistic but with the indole dialed way back) mixed with orange blossom soap. It has a delicacy that makes it a very "ladylike" scent, and a good "wedding orange blossom". I just tend to like my orange blossoms to be a little more full bodied and lush, a la Serge Lutens. Not sure if I like mock orange.

I get the lily and the animalic facets. I think this one is similar to the great tuberoses of my collection but its turning sour on my skin. If this works on you, good for you. Lilies are not my favorite, and that is the dominant note to my nose. It reminds me of Flor Y Canto in the basenotes, but I don't think it's as smooth

A moist, giant bouquet of tuberoses, stems and white flowers. Explosive and sparkling at the opening but then tiring when it settles into a scented soap. On my skin the marigold pleasantly balances the sweetness but the aura around me is rather generic and once the first half hour has passed it loses its punch and more....

the perfume i least expected to care about from this house but the one i ended up purchasing — waxy, textural, photorealistic white flower petal with a hint of stem, goes well with sweat and makes me feel like a fairy

The cleanest softest tuberose I’ve smelled. Very feminine and pretty. This is not a dirty tuberose this is clean and soapy. Beautiful. 9/10
