Neon Sunset

Loving the ozone and petrichor/ wet notes. Very very fresh; upon opening it compells you to take in a deep breath. Like being outside and getting a whiff of someone's laundry out the dryer vent using Gain dryer sheets. Very calming. I'm not getting a red apple (as a fruit) smell like others. Instead, I'm getting a smell of an apple tree flower in the spring - or sweet alyssum - most probably coming from the added ylang-ylang. I love it and could smell it all day long. Certainly reminds me of a nice, fresh, late spring day when all the flowery trees are in bloom. Like standing next to a huge lilac bush in full bloom after a spring rain. Very anti-anxiety inducing. However, with the sweet florals/ lilac - it tends to lead more on the feminine side so don't think I'll use it on myself. As with Dark Ride, would be perfect as a candle.

I got this for my husband as a birthday gift and y'all, the smile on this man's face was worth the price. I'm so appreciative of how well crafted these are. From the packaging to the formula to the longevity. He's only worn it for one day and he knows this is his forever scent. Please, please, if the owner ever browses these, don't discontinue this gem. It works so well on his skin, and every time he catches the scent he's grinning like a lovely idiot. It absolutely evokes a Gunship music video. It all works together to make a coherent story. Everything plays nicely with everything else. Update: My husband put this on yesterday, and this morning we woke up after sleeping in, snuggled, and the perfume is still on him!

Yup, Xyrena is awesome. This is my second bottle and I wasn't disappointed. Definitely wearable compared to.. say Dark Ride. Ozone and petrichor right off the start and dries down in to a flowery, sweet apple and definitely leather. The dry down is a little bit musky/powdery. The packaging is so awesome and almost worth the purchase on it's own. If you're old enough to remember VHS anyway. This is a sexy scent.

I'm glad this was finally added to Fragrantica as I've had it since release, but couldn't write a review. This is a interesting fragrance that starts with a blast of ozone. It gives the smell and feeling of rain more accurately than any fragrance I've encountered. If you dig your nose in too close in the first minute, it smells like 80's hairspray (which also had ozone) so give it a little time to calm down. Beyond that you start to pick up the birtch tar and something else that really closely mimics asphalt. The mid comes along with leather, musk, ylang ylang and the base is apples, hedione and heliotrope. The apple is sweet not tart, but not so sweet that I'm turned off. Good projection and longevity as are all from this house (extrait concentration). All and all this is a fun wear, and has really interesting transitions. The perfumer Killian Wells absolutely NAILED the ozone and wet asphalt. 👌 It really does smell exactly like rain in the city. Scent 6.7/10 Performance 7)10

RMPingo idk but i think you got broken sample because i dont smell any of that. I recently received it. This perfume is very pleasant and delicious. also very fresh. Definitely liked it a lot. Good work.
