Smells like a film canister, but also has this carnal vinyl note that can't be ignored...overall smells like a inky, vinyl frag, made a bit stinky due to the camphor accord...is this what Atramental from Room 1015 was going for? The profile as a whole smells like a [stinky, camphor] Sharpie, but just a smidge different and with a vinyl/plasticky accord...it's a weird I LOVE. And no, this doesn't remind me of Molecule 01 Escentric Molecules, though it's already hard enough to know how it's supposed to universally smell, to me it just doesn't. I can only imagine layering this with Boxer by HUNQ is going to be delight. I will note the vinyl/photo accords are relatively fleeting and so you're stuck with the camphor accord. Either way an interesting olfactory experience, I just wished it lasted longer than only for a little bit. EDIT: In search of a camphor-heavy fragrance, I will be idolizing this frag--as a layering frag it brings a dirty aquatic sensation in the purest sense. In this sense, it's FBW worthy.

Initially I was really impressed with the realistic plastic vinyl smell. It really does smell like camera film!!! Like developing photos, subtle and mechanical. Not very wearable but super interesting. And then it dried down smelling like old stale popcorn for some reason???? Which was really gross and bumped the score way down for me. Don’t bring shitty popcorn into the darkroom please

Got a sample for my husband since he developed pictures in highschool. But he said this smells like a bandaid lol....

Absolutely hate it, but it smells exactly like pictures and film. The acidity is too unpleasant to me and I'm beating myself up over it.

I found this fragrance after trying Bruno Fazzolari's Room 237. It has the vinyl note and I wanted to find others that had it. Shutter was one of the few so I purchased a bottle. Very interesting. It absolutely captures the smell of the old film. The other notes incorporated into the fragrance produce a wearable scent. The package and overall presentation is wonderful and I ordered about 10 other samples along with Shutter. Very creative.

This smells exactly like how I remember a film canister smelling. Incredibly realistic ! Not really wearable but interesting.
