Soap Bubble

I grabbed a sample of this as a suggestion on Lucky Scent, and I'm intrigued! The name "Soap Bubble" refers to the soap bubble nebula and is meant to suggest the light, luminous, and iridescent quality of the nebula. It's not really a "soapy" scent, though. It's a light, clean musk with a fruity-gourmand aspect thanks to the notes of passionfruit and caramel. To me it's light and playful. I keep sniffing my wrist in a good way, as it combines that skin-scent, white-floral-musk recipe that I always admire, but adds a layer of sweetness without going into fully gourmand territory. I'll keep using my 2ml sample for a day or two and see how I feel after living with it for a while, but this has potential to be a nice option for late summer and early fall - it scratches that itch for something light, clean, and fresh (my summer go-to faves) a bit of powdery iris and sandalwood for warmth, plus the caramel and passionfruit add a really nice contrast of tart/tropical from the passionfruit, and a yummy salty caramel. Very nice. It's sweeter than my typical choices. And yet I really like it! Maybe I'm becoming more of a gourmand girlie?

This smells exactly like a soap bubble. Soap bubble is a very nostalgic scent, it smells like my childhood memories of going to the children’s museum. This might be too niche, but the museum had a giant bubble ring that you could pull over yourself by standing in the middle of a wooden platform. It smells exactly like that, I guess because the museum used a lot of soap to make the bubbles. It’s such a sentimental fragrance, that’s also striking for me. It’s such a mood booster as well. Even though it’s a relatively gentle scent, it lasts a while and doesn’t disappear. It’s definitely on my full bottle wishlist- I just can’t justify the price point.

i won't beat around the bush: i am head-over-heels obsessed with this scent. soft, squeaky clean, featherlight yet eternal (an extrait that actually performs like one! groundbreaking!). i'm obsessed with all its contrasts. it truly is a soap bubble surrounding you when you wear it. this takes the modern aldehydic profile of frederic malle's acne studios collab and builds on it; i think the nuance of the soapiness is improved upon here. love love love it. i haven't been able to justify the full bottle price but since i genuinely can't stop thinking about this scent, it's probably only a matter of time.

Clean and slightly fruity, I like it. At first, it vaguely reminded me of Fruit Loops. As this sits, the passion fruit mellows out a bit into more of a soapy, floral, clean-laundry sort of smell. I wasn't really expecting this to last long on my skin, but I'm pleasantly surprised by the longevity of this fragrance. I would say most people could enjoy this, especially if you like clean, clean-laundry, soapy scents. It's really good, but I don't see myself paying for a full-sized bottle at its current price. Maybe I would if it was on sale

Soap Bubble is a soft, airy and elegant fragrance that captures the feeling of clean skin with a niche twist. It opens fresh and gentle, slightly soapy but never boring, and slowly develops into a smooth blend of soft florals and creamy musks. Despite its light and transparent character, it has surprisingly good longevity and a pleasant, intimate sillage. It feels refined, comforting and effortless ,perfect for everyday wear when you want to smell clean, polished and understated. A true hidden gem that deserves much more attention.
